I had the most fabulous time sitting for the adorable Pickle and enjoying this very beautiful part of Wales! ??????? Al and Jane are really wonderful and kind hosts and I warmed to them both immediately. They were super welcoming and hospitable and looked after me so well in the run up to the sit, and again afterwards when they returned from holiday. I was spoilt with great food, conversation and a lovely hike in their local area. In short they are two lovely people who I feel fortunate enough to call friends! ☺️ Pickle was the cutest of company and my shadow for the entire sit. There was no tiring her out on our walks, including a rather wild but beautiful snowy trek up the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons. Loved her sassy character and her snuggling up with me in front of the roaring fire in Al and Jane’s beautiful home. I could easily have stayed the whole winter through! ?? ? ? Thanks so much Jane and Al for for having me stay. There’s so much more exploring I want to do and I can’t wait to be back and to see you all! Tom xx
Nicole and Olo’s house was wonderful!! I did a 2 week sit for Justice and the kitties.. Justice was a sweetie and the cats had quite the personalities. They were entertaining with the laser light. The park across the street was easy to walk with Justice. The house was lovely and clean with all the necessary amenities. Super close to all the public transportation and I explored DC and everywhere with Olo’s bike which was outstanding! I did not need a car. It was the time of my life for the Cherry Blossom festival. DC is spectacular in Spring. I felt so lucky to get to be here. Olo and Nicole were so sweet making cookies /wine for my arrival and I enjoyed getting to know them so much. I can’t wait to come back. I am forever grateful to get to see DC at its most beautiful time and stay at this lovely place.
We had a lovely stay at Araminta’s house! She has a great bunch of pets. We grew to love them in a couple of days and we feel that is likewise! We planned for a workation and araminta’s house is ideal for that. Many desk area’s and nooks to sit & work at + the dogs and cats happily follow you around the house. They were our furry co-workers for a week :-) WiFi is great, kitchen is well-equipped,… Araminta was great in communication and very open with us. The area she lives in is very nice and quiet, great for walking the dogs. We would happily come back. Thanks for having us! X
Natalie was SUPER easy to communicate and appreciated our efforts to care for her pup, treating us like guests! Everything was very clear, detailed, and she and her lovely friends were there to transition and help (nothing beats a local rec for the best coffee!!!!) parts of what makes TH so rest for us is meeting nice people, and…… sweet pets! Luka is a BLAST!!!! Really-we have lots of dog friends and he is a real gem. We miss him and invited him to vaca in our home in Charlotte. Still a puppy, be ready for a lot of fun and energetic walks. We saw lots of Baltimore’s parks we wouldn’t have without him!!! .I understand they are moving into a new house too ! Baltimore is an amazing city and easy to explore , loads of fun walks, with yummy food. My family had a BLAST!
We thoroughly enjoyed sitting for Eric and Megan. The house is in a great location and very comfortable. The best part was the pets of course. Sophie, the cat, was shy and tended to keep to herself, but finally warmed up to us. Penny, the dog, became our true friend. She loves people and we had so much fun with her. We took her on daily walks and she was full of energy. When we got home she just plunked herself down and slept. She was the sweetest dog ever. We would definitely give this sit 10 thumbs up if we could! Thanks for picking us for your sit.
Such amazing communication from Sarah. We didn't get a chance to meet in person due to being delayed, but she had everything laid out in her welcome guide and in an easy spot upon arrival. My best friend and I went up for my birthday weekend to have some girl bonding time and to hang out in nearby Woodstock. Sarah's house is situated in a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walking in. We took advantage of the fireplace and watched Netflix each night. Odie and Rio were some of the most well-behaved dogs I have ever met. When we first arrived they barked and were a little apprehensive, but by the time we were leaving, you could tell they didn't want us to go! We had such a good time with them playing in the huge backyard and giving them lots of pets and head and back scratches. Nimbus the cat was so sweet and even got a little playful with my feet at bedtime, but it was cute! We didn't get a chance to see the sugar glider as it didn't really come out of hiding when we fed it, but it was no problem at all. Lovely home, lovely pets and lovely host. Would love to come back and do it again!
