We had a lovely short and sweet sit at Joanna's gorgeous home. Winston was a delight to care for - he enjoyed playing with his toys in the garden or coming up to us for a good scratch on the neck! We managed to visit Cliveden, a National Trust property, during our stay which is definitely worth a visit - Winston loved walking around the extensive grounds and was no trouble at all on our walks. Joanna made sure we had all the information we'd need for our stay and was always available by phone if we needed her. Thanks again for a lovely stay!
Graham and Suzi were the best possible hosts. Extremely generous in every way. I absolutely loved my time at their home with cheeky Chica, before they left, while they were away and after they returned. Chica is adorable! She was my constant companion and we enjoyed many hours wandering around the neighbourhood and exploring the forest tracks together. The neighbours in the village were also very kind. I could not have asked for a more perfect first house/pet sit and if I can I’ll sit for Graham and Susi any time they need me.
What a fabulous place to pet sit! Marie and Trevor were very welcoming and put us at ease straight away. They even left flowers, prosecco and a card for me as the sit started on my birthday. The gorgeous dogs, Ruby and Dillon were so well behaved and a pleasure to look after. They took their medication with no issues. Cats Ziggy and Barney were also very sweet - they are friendly and seemed to appreciate our company and attention. We were blessed with fabulous weather during our stay and all the pets liked to sit in the garden with us, which was lovely. The house is just such a great place. We felt very relaxed and loved our time there. Everything is so well thought out - a real home from home. It is absolutely spotless and works so well. Rutland is a beautiful county and we explored a good deal of it while there. We would be more than happy to return if the opportunity comes up and have no hesitation in recommending this sit to anyone.
Absolutely loved staying at Sian's cosy cottage and caring for Perry. It was lovely to be able to arrive the evening before Sian left. I was warmly welcomed. Sian's welcome guide was comprehensive and reassuring. If you are a cat loving nature lover you will love this sit...just 8 min drive to Angelsey and at the edge of Snowdonia. Adam loved cycling over in the early hrs on the Saturday (110 miles including an unexpected detour at the end due to an accident on the a55!!!) Adam and I would return in a heartbeat...Perry was such a pleasure to look after 😻
David and Charissa are a lovely, kind and friendly couple living in a wilder part of Sicily, south of Catania, at a nature reserve. They welcomed me and my Sicilian companion very graciously and we spent an nice evening with them before the sit started. They are in the process of tastefully renovating their large, comfortable home and I enjoyed being able to use the projector in the evenings. Mia, their little chihuahua, is extremely easygoing and a real lovebug and sweetheart. She just wants to be wherever you are and to have snuggles - unless she's on a walk and distracted by chasing lizards! She's really easy to care for and a very good girl. A car is absolutely essential for this sit, hence my companion coming to help. The sit almost didn't happen, due to the airport being closed due to fire - and then Catania losing both electricity and water in a heatwave. It all worked out in the end and David even offered to drive to Trapani to collect my diverted flight, although my friend came instead. Probably a good idea for those coming from abroad in the summer to factor in possible events like this in the southern Mediterranean though - they are becoming more frequent!

The staff are incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and attentive, making both me and my pet feel completely at ease. The facilities are spotless and well-maintained, with plenty of space for pets to play and relax. I especially appreciated the personalized care they offered—whether it’s dietary needs, special routines, or extra cuddles, they go above and beyond to make sure every pet is comfortable and happy. Jenn has taken great care of our dog. During his stays with Jenn, we’ve received regular updates on how he was doing as well as photos. His last visit with Jenn was for 12 days, so the regular contact helped my wife and I feel at ease while we were away from him. Our dog can be anxious sometimes but Jenn knows how to tailor her approach to suit each dogs personality and needs. I would highly recommend Paws and Moore!

Dealing with Jenn and Shaun at Paws and Moore has been amazing. They are both so professional in their approach and service, and also very accommodating. Shaun started visiting our two dogs recently. The best dog sitters you could ask for! I visited Shrewsbury for work in the lead up to Christmas and required dog care for around 10 days. Despite my working hours being a little erratic, Jenn accommodated us amazingly and was super flexible with pick up and drop offs. I received daily pup dates and was always informed of drop offs and pick ups which put me totally at ease. I was so thrilled by how friendly and personal the service was and loved how happy My pup was after his visits. I couldn’t recommend Paws and Moore any more highly, I just wish I could relocate them to London for the rest of the year!! Thank you so much for making everything so easy and enjoyable! Absolutely EXCELLENT!

Beanie has been coming to Wags & Whiskers for 4 and 1/2 years now, he goes twice a week and absolutely loves it. All the staff are amazing and they show so much love towards all the dogs. I can honestly say wags and whiskers is so good .Our little Finn has been going for nearly 12 months now and loves his days .steph and all the girls are fantastic ,the facilities are so good with plenty of outside space and play areas . It is also great value for money . We had a bad experience with first daycare place we choose for Finn so moved him to wags so glad we did . What a fantastic experience for our 3 dogs, they absolutely loved it. Loads for them to do, didn't stopped running around for the whole hour. All was very quite on the way home. Easy access to all gates. Even though there were sheep and horses in the next fields the dogs wernt interested at all. Felt very secure in all areas. Definitely recommend and will book again. Great place for a dog party. 🐕
Amy from All Paws, called in last weekend to give our family dogs, a cuddle and to play ball with them, while we were away for the afternoon. Both dogs are very special to us and finding someone who we felt able to trust and look after them is very important to us. After meeting Amy and her meeting the dogs, we felt they would be in good hands with her. I would highly recommend All Paws, I was able go away for the afternoon and not worry about our 2 special family members.

Alice has made a real go at creating and growing her business. She is a very capable young lady. She has a lovely way with all animals and our Charlie adores her. We have used many of her services, and we have always been more than happy to recommend her to friends. We will often call on Alice for help and advice too, nothing is too much trouble for her. Alice has also started to provide hampers for those special occasions and after the lovey Christmas hamper Charlie can't wait for Easter!
Ali looked after our felines for the summer. No job was too small for her and she took her time to come and get to know the cats before we went away. I felt calm, happy and settled and rightly so, as when we returned the cats were happy and healthy and I had regular updates about how they were and photos to confirm all was well. Alice looked after our beloved cat, Boba whilst we were away. First time having Alice care for Boba. Alice was so caring and professional, ensuring she did a meet & greet before us going away, and noting all information for boba including vets etc. This gave us reassurance she would give the upmost care to Boba. I have two very precious sausage dogs and Alice understands just how precious they are to me. She knows I prefer them to be socialised with smaller dogs for their backs. She understands their raw feed diet. She's very knowledge about all different dog breeds but she's not pushy with it. She adapts to your routine and whatever is best for your dog she will do. She goes above and beyond for my boys and they love her so much. I wouldn't want anyone else to look after my boys. They love alice and she loves them just as much. Thanks for being you!!!! Lydia walks my dog and looks after him at lunch time. We met up before to introduce her to my dog she is very friendly and great with him. She took him for a good walk which he I could tell he loved from the photos sent to me after! I will definitely be using Lydia regularly!

Up until now we have had no issues with Lower Mill, having been a customer of theirs for the last 3-4years. But this week we have tried to make contact with them to book our cat in for a 3 night stay at the end of the month (I’m aware last minute) due to something that has cropped up. I messaged them on Monday detailing the dates and as usual receive an automated reply back asking to be patient for a reply back but if urgent please call up. As not to bother them, I then waited patiently for them to get back to me. Tuesday came and went, and then midday Wednesday I asked my partner to message in case they were that busy they had missed my message. This morning my partner received a message back (still yet to reply back to my message) stating they have seen I have messaged but that they have previously stated that a quicker response is to call them up. Which ironically myself and my partner did do yesterday morning but as always are met by an answering machine. Having seen the message my partner received I don’t like the tone of the message and clearly they are that busy they don’t need my money and therefore will look to take it elsewhere. I am happy to have a conversation about this over the phone, as you will have my contact number on record. I look forward to hearing from you!
Sprout seemed to really enjoy his stay at Lower Mill Cattery. He was well looked after and seemed at home when we picked him up. He received a lot of care and attention while he was there, and the staff seemed to have bonded with him very well. I would recommend Lower Mill to anybody looking for somewhere for their cats/dogs to stay, and would 100% use them again.
An amazing group of well trained people at lower mill boarding kennels. I have used these kennels and cattery for over 25 years and won't put my pets anywhere else. Well done Johnathan and team.
Great Kennels with caring and friendly staff. This was the 1st time our dog had stayed away from home overnight and he was relaxed and happy from the moment we arrived as well as when we collected him.
Our Labrador spent two weeks there and he was very well looked after by lovely, friendly staff. Treated like a family pet and was a happy, happy doggie. Highly recommended and would definitely go back. Five stars for sure.
Both of my small breed dogs have been to Lower Mill for their holidays. The staff really care about the welfare of their canine visitors. The dogs have lots of stimulation and are walked several times during the day. The kennels are also super-clean. I heard of Lower Mill through a personal recommendation and I now always recommend Lower Mill to anyone else looking for overnight care for their dogs. My little girls (dogs) were invited to have a day visit before they stayed overnight which was a great idea as it meant I knew they would be happy and familiar with their surroundings and staff during their 'holiday' :D Lovely setting and excellent staff. I wouldn't want my dogs to go elsewhere. Most importantly, my little ones always seem to enjoy going there and they love the staff.

This place is amazing - the staff are caring and knowledgeable and run a good tight ship in terms of inoculation rules which fills us with reassurance that our dogs will be healthy and safe. Love the one day trial visit too - meant they and we got to see if Lower Mills was the right place and boy is it :)

Brilliant service, every stay is above and beyond. I have a sensitive and powerful lurcher but she is always looked after fantastically and comes home happy and exhausted. Updates and pictures are sent to reassure me, I do not think now of going anywhere else (main stream kennels made dog very unhappy and resulted in big vets fees after being overpulled).
The most perfect location, Deanne is amazing with our 2 dogs who have the best time on their holidays @Barkingham Palace.

Mandy & Tasha have been looking after my dachshund for over six months now and the level of care , love and attention is second to none , from the first meeting I felt 100% reassured & relaxed to leave my dog , the only trouble was my dachshund did not want to leave on picking up 😊. Tash has looked after our cat, Mickey, on two separate weekends recently, when we have been away. She is very reliable and flexible. She has sent us lovely texts, photos and videos of Mickey after each of her visits, which have been really reassuring to us. Tash clearly loves animals and they really respond to her well. Our cat was very happy and well fed when we got home, and did not appear to have missed us at all, which is a great sign that she was very well looked after. Thanks so much Tash.
Brilliant care and an excellent professional service is offered by More than Mutts. We have been using them for over 2 years now to care for our animals and have nothing but good to say about them. I have also recommended them to many of our pet owning friends. They really understand dogs and their needs as well as other pets and are always there with help and advice if required. Highly recommend.
Tash recently looked after our cat, Elsie, when we went away for a long weekend and we couldn't be happier with the service she provided. She gave her her medication and, crucially, spent some real time with her giving her the cuddles she needs. We received a couple of photos too over the weekend to put our minds at ease. We'll definitely be asking her back the next time we go away.
