In addition to being great communicators in both arranging the housesit and providing regular updates during their 2 week stay, Valerie and David took excellent care of our house, garden and Bonnie our cat. I had a lovely time pet sitting for this family. Sally is so loveable and sweet. But, the family was wonderful too. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable during my stay. It was helpful to arrive a little ahead of time for an orientation of sorts prior to their departure. They took me around their town so I could find things easily, and I had the chance to ask questions all while learning Sally's routine. They have a lovely comfortable home where I felt safe. Plus, it's located in a very convenient place. So, getting around and picking up necessities was breeze. This was a very positive experience and I'm thankful to have met them all. I found myself missing Sally and our daily walks in the Wald as soon as I left. I would love to return and spend time with Sally, and hope to be called upon in the future.
My family and I had an amazing time at Ianthe’s. Her pets are all darling, her backyard is something from a dream, and her house was easy to manage. Plus (maybe most importantly), Ianthe herself is exactly what you want in a pet owner. This sit was definitely a highlight of our traveling summer & (don’t tell the others!) this was probably our very favorite. We would happily petsit again if our dates aligned.
