Amber was super friendly and open to all the specific details about caring for my house and cat. She communicated with pictures on a regular basis while I was gone. I'll have to say Amber left my home as clean as I left it for her.. this is a real plus in my book. She collected the mail and took very good care of my kitty. I highly recommend her.

Kurt was a great housesitter. Communication was easy from the start. Kurt really focussed on getting to know Sam, her needs, her character, playstyle, etc. We were supposed to meet the day before his housesit started, but unfortunately, we had a COVID case in our family. He was very flexible and easy-going, and in the end we left the key under the doormat, and we never got to meet, which is unfortunate. Kurt communicated regularly, yet didn't overload us, which was perfect for us. Sam warmed up to him quickly, and was relaxed and happy when we returned. All our plants are still alive, which is also very much appreciated :) Thank you Kurt, we'd happily have you here again!

Staying at Karen's place with Teddy and Navi was a pleasure. Teddy is well behaved on walks and Navi joins in the evening....its so cute! Sometimes you'll see Teddy giving Navi a lick bath.......they get along very well. The house is beautiful, very well taken care of and easily walkable to restaurants and stores. The hosts are easy going and communicate quickly. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you K and S!!!

Kelly
After an initial chat with Kelly, she shared a super useful doc with notes about the flat and considerations for Ben E, which was great! Great location, easy to get to and amenities are close by.

On arrival, Ben E sweetly welcomed me into the home and we fell into a nice routine of snacks, play, scratches and chill. Ben E loves the brush and will let you know where it is :D

For a young cat, Ben E was incredibly receptive and well-behaved to finger snaps when getting too excited with play time or curiously approaching my dinner plate. It was really nice to have Ben-E sitting close-by when working during the day or watching TV in the evenings, too.

Was a bit sad to say goodbye to this little one. Ben E really is a quirky, curious and calm, sweet character to have around. Would highly recommend sitting with Ben E to anyone.

Charles
My wife and I were privileged to take care of Charles' four Hungarian Visla "boys", Jack, Dajo, Leo and Max for seven weeks while he was abroad. They have a great temperament and boundless energy during the day, and once we lit the fireplace at night they went into hibernation mode for the night. They love being around people and are really a pleasure to be with.

The house is comfortable and in one of the most beautiful parts of the Garden route with beautiful views of the mountains and exceptional sunsets. Being of the grid, we never experienced any load shedding, which was quite a bonus. Managing the solar system was quite easy and made us realise the value of tapping into available natural resources. What was nice about this sit was the fact that the butler fed the dogs, cleaned the house and took care of the garden. Our main responsibilities was to manage the solar system and play with the dogs.

Charles is a hands-on type of guy so we knew exactly what was expected of us. Communication with Charles was easy and always clear. Knowing how much he loves his "boys" we tried to send him regular updates of the status at home and how the dogs were doing.

This was our first sit and we are very grateful to Charles for trusting us to take care of his boys and his lovely property. We can highly recommend a sit at Charles' lovely place and will definitely do it again.

Debbie
Thanks for allowing me to pet sit Callie and Chilli. Callie was very easy and independent and Chilli was really sweet, mellow, and adores company, so don't be intimidated by this big boy. Debbie left everything organized, clean and comfortable for my stay. The neighborhood is great and has a nice park two blocks away. I recommend this sit to others.

Derrin
Our house/pet sit in Chef Boutonne was delightful in every way.
Derrin is the nicest, most generous person you could wish to meet, and we connected right from the start. She welcomed us into her home as guests and made a delicious home cooked dinner for us when we arrived.
Derrin's home is spacious, and we were made very comfortable. It is, however, rural so a car is essential.
As for the pets, the chickens are very straightforward to look after. They have distinct personalities and are interesting to watch. The free range eggs were obviously a bonus.
The cats mostly did their own thing and again were no trouble to care for. Ophelia and Bella were the most shy, but they really are gorgeous creatures. Milly, Lilly and Oscar spent the most time with us and told us when they wanted attention.
As for the two dogs, Leo and Nalla, they really are sweet, obedient canine companions and we enjoyed spending time with them.
Thank you Derrin for your kindness towards us. We feel privileged to have met you and to have had the opportunity to care for your very special creatures.
