We feel so lucky for being invited to Sally's and Christopher's gorgeous home and for the company of the sweetest and most friendly Staffie girl, Figue. We were enjoying everyday trips with her, she has the soul of true explorer:). The nearby countryside has a lot to offer. Sally and Christopher made us feel very welcome and even treated us with delicious meals. Thank you so much for everything!
We just had one problem with this sit; it was way too short! Set in absolutely stunning scenery, Sofia, Louis and their gorgeous little boy welcomed us into their home the day before they went away. Sofia had made a scrummy meal and took us out to walk us through Maude's daily routine. Everything was clearly communicated and Sofia was really transparent about Maude's sometimes fear of gates and how she walks her through, which was really helpful to be aware of. As it turns out, Maude showed us her very best and brave behaviour. Miss Bubblegum is very sweet and has bursts of chirping and singing to you. They also have 3 dogs, who went away with them.this time but who we wouldn't hesitate to look after if they went away again as they were lovely. We felt very welcomed on this sit, our bedrooms were lovely with the comfiest of beds! We've all fallen a bit in love with Maude even in the few short days. I highly recommend this sit and truly hope we get to help Sofia, Louis and Talias (really hope I've spelt his name right!) out again sometime! Thanks again guys!
This was a wonderful sit. Carolyn and John are both warm and welcoming. They took me into Greenville before they left to show off their beautiful town. Every room in the house, including the lovely enclosed porch, was comfortable and inviting. The enclosed back yard makes it easy to let the dogs out for a quick trip around the fence. The home is a block away from the lovely campus of Furman Univ. for a walk or bike ride. Chloe and Coco are sweet and funny love bugs and are very easy to care for. I would definitely return and can recommend this sit without reservation!
What a wonderful experience spending some days at the beautiful home of Susanne and Martin. They were so warm and friendly from the very start, extremely lovely and easy to talk to. Their home is gorgeous and well-located. Most importantly, I had the pleasure of taking care of Kalle. She is shy but allowed me to love her on occasion. All in all, a really fantastic sit.
Wiesje & Henry flat looks out over Trumpington Meadow park, it's nicely appointed and a very chilled place to spend time. They're easy going and organised, so very easy to arrange a sit with. Also responsive on text for any support / questions you might have. Joey is an absolute pleasure, he's a really lovely character. He loves walking in the park and woods in front of their house. He's obedient and co-operative when you're walking him and gets on well with other dogs and humans. At home, he's quite affectionate and likes a bit of attention when he's not sleeping. Can highly recommend this sitting opportunity.
