We had a lovely time at Eileen and Will's home. Their property is lovely with gorgeous forested trails all around and beautiful gardens in front. Eileen and Will are kind and friendly and welcomed us warmly. We feel they really took a chance on us as, though we are experienced house and pet sitters, we had never spent any time with horses. This was a terrific opportunity to learn about horse care with 3 wonderful beings, who allowed us to be in their presence, groom them and feed them. A good intro by Will and additional visits by their horse trainer helped us to become quite relaxed and truly enjoy the experience. The five pups are each lovely in their own way--all different personalities, but all very loving. Though there is a lot to do, instructions were clear and detailed, and we found we could easily have late mornings and all afternoon free to do what we wanted, though often we were happy staying at home with the critters, puttering in the garden, and enjoying the surroundings.
Alfie was so sweet! He was great out in public when we took walks around the neighborhood and to Old Town, all the locals thought so too! Nicole had his schedule and other instructions clearly laid out which made the sit go so smoothly. I’d gladly watch him again!
