This was the first time we had someone house/pet sit for us. We were a little nervous about leaving our cottage, garden and our spoiled cat Jasper for an entire month. After a referral to the site by a friend, TH turned out to be our best option. When we first connected with Jess and Matt over the phone, any initial concerns about strangers in our home were allayed. They were warm, personable, engaging and asked really good questions-- their vibe definitely felt like the right fit. Jess and Matt arrived one day ahead of our departure so that we could meet them and walk the property and go over some things with them in person. Once we met, we knew we had found the right people and left on our trip feeling very at ease with them. While on our trip, they sent regular updates and photos. Jasper looked like he was loving life--maybe even a little too content in the photos, we're not sure he missed us! There were a couple of new outdoor plants that Jess and Matt thought maybe weren't going to make it, so they went to the trouble of buying new ones! If that wasn't enough, Matt fixed our broken kitchen window! When we got home, the house was very clean and tidy with all linens and rugs washed. Jasper looked maybe a little disappointed that it was us coming through the door and not Jess and Matt. We would absolutely both recommend, and welcome back, Jess and Matt to sit anytime and feel so fortunate to have had them as house sitters in our home. Really great people!
I can't say enough good things about Danielle and Frank. From our first conversation to the day we returned home, they made us and our fur babies feel very comfortable. Your home and pets will be in good hands with them. We will definitely be inviting them to sit again. Louie and Molly often get stressed when we leave and aren't interested in food for a day or 2. There was never any stress with Frank and Danielle. They bought toys as a gift when they arrived, which quickly became favorites for Louie and Molly. Happy dogs!! We prepare organic food for our dogs and they had no problem taking on that task while we were away, as well as bathing them and providing lots of cuddles. They even prepared a vegan meal for us to pop into the oven when we got home!
Hannah was a good commentator and left our house in perfect condition!
