Outstanding pet sit. You could not find a better environment for your pet-sitting assignment than this one. A beautiful and unique home in West Asheville, NC, in an artsy neighborhood and with the Biltmore Estate close by. The owners were clear about the needs and routine of their pet (now my “Grand-dog”) Aspen. Responsibilities regarding this home both inside and out were detailed in the guide and a second note on the refrigerator. The owners were as concerned with our comfort as they were with my buddy Aspen. Did I tell you we liked Aspen? Aspen is a mature, fun loving pet, well trained both inside and outside of the home for her daily walks. Loved those walks. Being an average sized pet, she prefers your lap to the couch and that’s OK with us. I would rate this sit a solid six out of five if I could, so I am sticking with a five out of five. Aspen even told me she will be working on her own Facebook page when she is finished chasing squirrels…what a sweetheart. We are sure going to miss her.
It was an absolute enjoyable experience with Whiskey: he loved to do yoga with me and showed me how to do the best downward facing dog. He was well-trained for photo shoot and all daily routines so it was super easy to teach him new tricks. He was also a super fun playmate, I could not stop playing new games with him The only challenge during my stay was he had diarrhoea for few days and I had to took him out few times in the middle of the night for the emergency calls. Thank you Roam to let me have such a gentle and sweet boy for 10 days as Whiskey made me feel like a real owner throughout the sit.
Lena und Andi sind mega sympathisch, locker und humorvoll. Die Kommunikation mit ihnen war toll und hat großen Spaß gemacht. Bei Fragen waren sie immer zur Stelle und konnten tolle Tips geben. Ihr TrustedHousesitters Guide könnte besser nicht sein! Die beiden Kater sind super lieb, zutraulich und pflegeleicht. Es war unglaublich schön ein paar ihrer Facetten kennen lernen zu dürfen 🥰 Das Haus ist sauber, ordentlich und sehr gemütlich. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und gleichzeitig ist man innerhalb 1/2 Stunde in Düsseldorf oder Köln. Das Haus ist ein richtiges Paradies für Crowley und Aziraphale: überall im Haus gemütliche Liegeplätze, Katzenklappe, großer Garten.
The pets are just awesome and super cute. Two Poms, Prince & Baby, are such a delight to sit, so easy going and well behaved. My 9 yr old son TJ & I loved every minute we spent with them. They are just so precious. Every time I'd look at Baby, she'd bring a smile to my face and Prince just looks like the cutest plush toy. The pretty cat Bella came around off and on throughout the day after sleeping most of the day in the bedroom. She's one of the best behaved cats we had a chance to sit and the only one that doesn't climb on the kitchen counters and dining table. TJ & I enjoyed spending our days with Prince, Bella & Baby. They are so good around kids and very easy to take care of. We miss them a lot and would absolutely love to come back to spend time with them again. The house is beautiful, spacious, clean and tidy. It has such a warm and cozy feel to it. My son and I loved it there. It's located in a 55+ gated community in a very nice neighbourhood. It's so peaceful and comfortable there. We didn't have a car at this sit and we didn't need one at all. Safeway grocery store is just a nice 20 min walk away. The owners, Lee Anne and Curt, are very warm, kind and generous family. They are so welcoming and carrying. Lee Anne's communication prior to, during and after the sit was fantastic. She's great company and an amazing person, full of wisdom and faith. I enjoyed our conversations very much. I always say that it truly takes an open and huge heart to take a mother with a special needs child to be one's sitter, and that is exactly what Lee Anne and Curt have huge and open hearts, full of compassion and love for others. We are so thankful and grateful for everything you did for us, Lee Anne, choosing us to sit for you when I saw you had over 15 applications in just couple of days. We'd come back to sit for you and Curt anytime. This is all around top notch sit and I definitely recommend it to everyone.
Such a WONDERFUL housesit. Communication was easy before and during the sit. Nicky left a delicious welcome gift that did not last the weekend. Thank you Nicky :-) Nicky and Pete's house is full of character, very comfortable and peaceful. It was our first sit with chickens and we loved walking down the garden with Eddie and Ernie in the morning to let the chickens out, clean out their house and hunt for eggs. Eddie and Ernie were friendly and fun to be around. Would highly recommend this lovely house sit.
