Victor and Rose were a such a sweet couple that took wonderful care of our pets and house while we were away. They were quite self-sufficient. They noticed and took care of things that were above and beyond what I would consider their end of the deal, such as fallen branches in the yard and mail delivered to the wrong address. Also, our dog, cat and fish all seemed well cared for while we were away. Most notably, the house was impeccably clean when we returned with everything in its place. I would absolutely recommend Victor and Rose and would love to have them back again.

Amanda
Amanda's house is in a beautiful neighborhood, and the house was very clean and comfortable. Seamus and Freya are very playful and excited, so they'll be happy to meet new sitters. I highly recommend staying if you want to see Flagstaff and relax in a quiet neighborhood!

This sit was an absolute pleasure - sweet, affectionate animals in a beautiful countryside with easy access to town for kind and generous hosts. The old farmhouse has all the modern ammenities and there is an amazing and eclectic library with great books to read.

The dogs are generally well mannered and the cats are snugglers. The happiness of the animals is a reflection of how well cared for they are. Despite the long list of things to be done each day for the animals, it only takes a couple of hours out of the day. That leaves plenty of time to explore this beautiful corner of France or to conduct remote work.

John and Henri are amazing hosts. They are great communicators, flexible, and super helpful. They genuinely care about the people who sit for them, and that is a real treat.

I highly recommend this sit.

Vivian was super easy to communicate with and everything was set up super nice and organized. The space was clean, organized and Rus was a pleasure to hang with. I stayed there a couple times and would be happy to come back again any time :)

Norma
Very happy to get to meet Norma and her 3 babies! She's amazing host, great with communication and helped us with all the instructions needed for us to have the best time in Edinburgh!

The 3 little doggy fur babies are adorable! It's really hard not to fall in love with them. They are really easy to take of, and they great company. Each one with their own mood, they like to be on your side while you're on the house, to go outside in the yard, walks into the park but for the most part they like to take their naps.

Norma's house is very accessible, from our arrival from the airport, to commuting to the city. As the house itself, everything is very clean, organised, cozy, comfortable, and exactly as the description says.

Thanks once again, the opportunity for allowing us into your home and your family.

All the best,

Caroline & Otávio

Amy was a fabulous host, with a spectacular home. We were greeted with fresh scones and a chat about the local area. Mouse and Kizzy were beautiful soft friendly dogs who were great company. Biscuit the cat is chatty and possibly the softest cat I’ve ever stroked. The house was immaculate and honestly we couldn’t have asked for more from our first house sit. Thank you 😊

Together with my friend Ana, I had the privilege of residing at Didier and Roze's countryside castle, an experience we found exceptionally pleasant, tranquil, and inspiring. The castle, surrounded by expansive grounds, provided the perfect setting for reflecting on our Year Compass and making plans for the upcoming year.
We immediately felt at home due to the trust bestowed upon us by the owners. Didier and Roze are incredibly welcoming and laid-back, which quickly put us at ease. This feeling was further amplified by the curiosity and enthusiasm of the young dogs, Louie and Jones, who eagerly led us through the vast estate and surrounding area. The brothers are affectionate and well-behaved, making everything run seamlessly. The dogs provided structure to our days, with breakfast and a brisk walk at 8 in the morning, followed by a few hours of remote work with the soothing sounds of snoring dogs in the background. Afternoon brought another brief walk (although the dogs were perfectly content to romp in the garden alone), and after dinner (between 6 and 7 for the dogs), we would read together in the living room.
Despite the absence of a TV in the castle, we spent the majority of the week at home. The peace and quiet were unparalleled and incredibly refreshing compared to city life. One evening, we visited the Tibetan monastery (Kagyu Yeunten Gyamtso Ling near Huy) to attend a full moon meditation.
Our time as house sitters at Didier and Roze's castle was a shared experience of relaxation and joy. The combination of peaceful countryside living and the delight of canine companionship made our stay unforgettable. We felt at home in the castle and appreciated the responsibility that came with house -and dogsitting. It was a collective journey filled with tranquility, friendship, and the timeless charm of castle life. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Didier and Roze for their hospitality and trust, and we hope to return to "our" castle and spending time with the heartwarming brothers in the future.
