Lauren
Anna, Alan, and their family were amazing caretakers of my elderly cat and home. My cat was happy & well cared for (with all meds and food), my house was spotless, and they were extremely friendly and communicative. I highly recommend!

Mary Ellen
My stay at Mary Ellen's beautiful home was nice. Communication was clear, Mary Ellen took the time to explain things around the house and what Roo and Honey needed. She is very nice and made me feel welcome at her home.
Both cats are very sweet and well behave. The handsome Roo loves to cuddle and Honey is sweet too but she likes to have a little bit more of space. They love to spend time in the screened in patio where I didn't mind hanging out with them.
The house was spotless clean; it's located in a quiet neighborhood where I felt safe all the time. The location was great too, it's just about 20 minutes from the Capitol, Cascades Park, there are also nearby state parks, restaurants and stores.
I had a nice experience and I do recommend this family.
Thank you!

Venetia
Venetia and Charlie were amazing hosts, who even took care to check with me before the sit about what kind of coffee I preferred, and made sure that their weekly veg box delivery continued during the sit, and allowed me to use that for my meals. All the info needed was there - in our conversations, in the welcome guide, and in the instruction sheet on the fridge. Lovecat is a beautiful cat, initially shy, but gradually warming to me and loving company and being groomed. Venetia describes her house as idyllic, and this is absolutely true, in a beautiful secluded hamlet, with views over farmfields and the historic village church, and lots of walking and cycling opportunities in the locality. Thank you V and C for having me to sit for you!

Laura
Laura is such a sweet and caring lady. Eventhough I didn't feel well during my arrival, she kept making sure if I was fine and how I was managing. Meeting Ruby was truly a pleasure. She is a beautiful cat, with her own personality and although I didn't get to see her much during the few days I was there, she still left quite an impression and oh yes : she really does love her string and looking at you

Laurie
Wonderful woman and sweet sibling kitties Luce & Panteón. We really enjoyed this sit hanging out with the cats and enjoying dinners on the beautiful terrace. The town is super cute with friendly people. Laurie is also an excellent chef! She made us an amazing dinner the night before her trip. Thanks so much!

Burcu Terzioglu
I have just had the most wonderful time sitting for Burcu and looking after her very shy cat Tosun.

Burcu is really lovely and welcoming and we had good communication before and during the site. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and clean, the locality is a beautiful place to stay in the picturesque location of Penarth Marina (the bedroom view is a real treat!!).

Really close to Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff Bay and a train station close by in Cogan (the line goes into the heart of The Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff and the Welsh Valleys) Penath Marina is a great location for exploring South Wales.

Tosun is very shy and I didn't really see him for the first few days of my stay ......... on the day I was leaving he was eating treats out of my hand (that was super cute and exciting).

I would definitely love to sit for Burcu again and would recommend sitting for her to anyone.

Linda
Linda and Bipin have an absolutely lovely home - cozy, plant-filled, and looking out on the beautiful mountains. The dogs, Rufus and Elsa, are incredibly welcoming and loving. They love their time outside and their human time. (Elsa enjoys more alone time than Rufus, who would probably cuddle you all day if you let him.) They're so very sweet. The horses, Brigit and Joey, are delightful. Very distinct personalities - Brigit enjoys a scratching and grooming while Joey would rather dance and trot around to show he's enjoying himself. The cat, Chucky, is a great character. He very much enjoys a scratching and a brushing and is also content to just sit in the sun. The humans, Linda and Bipin, are incredibly generous, helpful, and kind. They showed us everything we needed to know and were easily contacted if something came up that we weren't sure about.

The duties were quite manageable. We were able to take good care of the animals, plants, and home while also getting out to snowboard or explore the area a bit. The area is worth exploring!!

We would definitely recommend this stay to folks who enjoy animal time and the solitude of rural living. And we would certainly be interested in housesitting here again!!

Thank you so much, Linda, Bipin, Rufus, Elsa, Brigit, Joey, Chucky, and Mission mountains, for providing us the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful winter in the valley. We will be excited to see you all again.
