Ellen's has a wonderful country home. The cats are older and were quite charming. Simba loves to snooze while Strider was more active and exploratory. They were really sweet together. The most difficult thing was giving them their medicines (orally) but I got a much better hang of this after the first day. Ellen was a great communicator and gave me a helpful overview when I arrived.
We really enjoyed our 5 day house sit at this beautiful house, and we fell in love with beautiful Dottie!! The house had everything we needed and it was easy to look after, it was a real pleasure to house sit!
James and Eileen were great hosts, beautiful home and pool. The 3 fur babies were characters and a pleasure to spend time with. We would not hesitate to return!
Lisa, Michael and Annie gave me a very warm welcome and I felt very comfortable in their lovely home. Everything about Annie and the house was explained perfectly. Annie is the sweetest girl, loves her snuggles, walks and a game of fetch in the back yard. I would happily look after Annie again.
Wonderful sit with super sweet cats! Kevin is the funniest cat I've met and made me laugh daily. Hermione is such a sweet cuddler and makes cute chirpy noises. Erin's house is lovely and stylish and close to public transportation. Instructions were clear. Eat at Hardena (amazing Indonesian restaurant in walking distance) while you're here!
Tomtom is even cuter in real life than his photos. His feeding/playing/litter tray schedule was super straightforward, especially with the helpful handover (and warm welcome) I received from Emre. Tomtom is very inquisitive and had sniffed all my luggage within an inch of its life within the first hour of me being there! He also gets very excited during playtime, but sleeps a lot too. Basel is a cool city, so it was great to have the opportunity to explore it for a couple of days. Aside from the great view from Emre’s 25th floor apartment, it’s in a great location where the River Rhine/old town can be accessed by a 10-minute walk. Thank you Emre for choosing me to hang out with Tomtom for the weekend!
