Michael and Joanna were the most amazing housesitters we could have asked for. They were very communicative before and during the sit and sent us photos each day which was a welcome surprise! It was clear in the photos how much our cats loved and bonded with Michael and Joanna! They left our house spotless and went above and beyond to water some of our outdoor plants during a heat wave. When we met them on a video call before the sit they were very warm and engaging and instantly felt like family. I can't recommend them enough and really appreciate how well they loved our babies during our trip!
My stay with Poppy was a fantastic one! She is a chill content feline with an affectionate personality that shines through after a brief warming up period. Jessie’s flat is ideal for visiting downtown Vancouver and is very clean with a fabulous view. It’s small, but has everything you need in a well maintained secured building complete with a gym and laundry room in the basement. So many great places and restaurants are within a short walking distance. Despite being in the heart of the city it was a very quiet peaceful neighborhood and I felt very safe. The key hand off was a bit awkward as Jessie was not present for my arrival or departure and her friend who was supposed to meet me had a four hour delayed flight. Fortunately I was able to receive instructions from Jessie to just leave the keys behind as we also had a housesitter waiting for us at my own home and had to get back. I did bring a car with me which was a bit of an issue, but Jessie was super accommodating and found me a spot. My only recommendation is that future sitters take the train or transit system as they won’t need a car at all if they stay at Jessie’s place. I highly recommend this sit!! We loved our pet sit for Stanley and Monty. Loved the house, Lucinda was a great communicator. We were so sad to leave and say goodbye to the animals. Especially Stanley, the big cuddly teddy bear xxx
This is a great sit. Sarah and Tony are a welcoming couple who are happy to share their home. We were made very welcome and the house has everything sitters want. Bed comfy, lots of towels and hot water, nice and clean. The house has lots of farmland around it so is quiet and private. Most importantly the animals. The two cats tended to keep themselves apart, it after a couple of days Lily came to sit on my knee both inside and outside she is a very attractive part Bengal I think. Monte the ginger tolerated being stroked but on his terms only. Poppy the Jack Russell was a little cutie, she loved being cuddled and stroked and would follow us around the garden and house waiting for the first chance to ponce On A knee. She gets very excited when you talk to her and play at chase.! Very affectionate and loving. I can recommend this sit and would go again, if you like peace and quiet this is for you BUT if you want to go to Lincoln it is very near and many villages round about. Bella and Steve-O, like most staffies, are the most lovable, engaging dogs ever! Bella is pretty self-assured and loves just hanging out near you. Steve-O is more needy and prefers to sit (and sleep) right beside you, or ON you, if allowed, though he will sleep in his crate, if you insist. (You'll just have to ignore his woeful look.) They are both well-trained and obedient and did fine on their own while I was out for a bit. The house is clean, cozy and full of character -- a real delight -- and Ballard is a friendly, walkable, safe neighborhood. Giving the dogs meds was a breeze, even Bella's ear meds. Lauren left very clear instructions and let me stay the night before they left, since my drive there took a few hours. I was only there for a weekend, but Bella and Steve-O were immediately welcoming and eager to please. A great sit!
Erika and Tom were very friendly and welcoming with their guest space. They were reliably communicative and respectful throughout the stay. The home was cozy and clean with a beautiful backyard to enjoy in the sunny weather. I had the great privilege of meeting their new puppy, Bodhi in my duration through Wilmington, who was especially charming and sweet. Their adventurous beagle Johnny was energetic and playful with his own uniquely sweet demeanor. They both love affection and long walks through their peaceful neighborhood. Thank you!
Spent wonderful time with Bodega and Simbrah. Cassidy and Steve are wonderful. They clearly explained what to do. While I stayed there, Cassidy responded to my text and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Their house is very clean. Highly recommend them.

We hired Cynthia to be the “wedding buddy” for our dog Max during our wedding. We wanted Max to be involved in our wedding ceremony and also to be walked around during cocktail hour for guests to say hi. Cynthia was excellent with Max and super knowledgeable about dogs. We had an initial FaceTime consultation with her, and then brought Max up to Napa for a meet-and-greet with her before our wedding day. Max has a lot of energy and can pull on leash when excited, but Cynthia was able to handle him with no problems. We boarded Max at a facility up in Napa and had our boarder meet with Cynthia at our venue to hand Max off, and then pick Max up from Cynthia when he was finished at our wedding. It was a bit complicated, but it all went perfectly smoothly and it was such a relief to not have to worry about our sweet pup during our wedding. I highly recommend Cynthia at PetzRFamily2!
Cynthia is a true gem. We were searching for a pet sitter who would look after our precious ragdoll cat during our wedding weekend in Napa. Cynthia put us at ease from the very beginning, offering to FaceTime with us prior to booking and providing glowing references. She was prompt, professional and an absolute sweetheart throughout the experience. She looked after our kitty as though she were a member of her own family, accompanying her to the ceremony (yes, our cat was part of the wedding!) and staying with her in our hotel suite during our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. It was so important to us that our baby be well taken care of during our special weekend, and Cynthia was such a blessing. She even sent us photos and updates throughout the night! Bonny Doone is so amazing. Our dogs have stayed here several times and love it. One of our dogs unfortunately passed away while we were out of town and he was at the kennel which was not surprising with his age and health issues. The kennel staff knew him well and were aware of his health issues and always took great care of him. They called us immediately and took care of so much and gave us beautiful condolences. I can’t thank them enough for being there in my absence.
Bonny Doone is the only place I will board my pets. Rhonda's team is exceptional at creating a safe and comforting home-away-from-home. I recently boarded my dog Shelby for 9 days during the winter holidays. After returning home, I called Rhonda with a quick question. Shelby was asleep next to me when the call went to voicemail. Her tail started thumping loudly on the couch at the sound of Rhonda's voice on the outgoing voicemail message. Just another reminder of the peace of mind I have with Bonny Doone. They're the best!
Rhonda, the owner of Bonny Doone, is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She took excellent care of my Cockapoo, and her expertise and attention to detail is exceptional. The facility is immaculately maintained, and even displays Disneyland-like bushes in the shape of adorable dogs! So, great, clean atmosphere, and caring, expert staff! This kennel was recommended by our vet, Dr. Mary (ret.) of Napa Small Animal Hospital, at least 5 yrs ago. I have been taking my dogs here ever since. My experience with the owner and staff has been great. They provide updates when I call and are very understanding when I call multiple times a day to check on my dogs. The facility is always clean and I never have to worry about my dogs being placed in unsafe situations as they don’t allow pets from other households to interact with your own. This is for the safety of the pets and is the main reason why I have continued to choose this kennel over others. They also use my preferred vet, Napa Small Animal Hospital, so I feel confident leaving my dogs behind knowing that they’ll be cared for by great doctors should they need it. Our Abby, a 22 month old doodle has been going to daycare at Bonny Boone for just over a year and we love the team there. The excitement Abby has when we pull in the driveway is a great feeling. The facility is clean, the team is professional and and if they ever notice something I may have missed with Abby ... such as she’s been licking her paw a lot, they let me know so I can keep an eye on it. We used Bonny Doone one weekend when staying in the area. Our hotel was dog friendly, so we dropped them in the morning, went out for the day, and picked them up at the end of the day. Very friendly staff and our pups seemed to enjoy it.
Took our Dexter to stay here for a couple days while we attended a wedding in Napa. Although Dexter is a little difficult to accept being at a kennel, Rhonda and her team made it all work out well. Thanks to you all.
