I really enjoyed looking after Maud and Mabel, they are very friendly and easy to walk. Mabel will be by your side getting a cuddle whenever she can. Tamsin and Rob made me feel very welcome, and are very relaxed. The welcome guide is excellent and tells you everything you need. This is a great sit, for popping into London or just walking and enjoying the local area, with some great cafes and parks. I would certainly go back given the opportunity.
We had a wonderful stay in Bourne End looking after Zahara. The house was beautiful, very well appointed and with plenty space and light. We enjoyed living in the private, gated community listening to the birds and watching the wildlife in the garden. Zahara is a very independent cat who uses a cat flap to access the garden. She enjoyed being brushed and cuddled up with us at night when we were watching TV. She can be very vocal and lets you know when she wants your attention. She loves her food and having her head stroked. Bourne End is a pretty village with all the local amenities you would expect. There is a good fruit and veg shop and plenty options for eating out or for take away. There are some lovely walks along the river Thames which is about 10 minutes walk from the house. The beautiful towns of Marlow and Henley are close by and it is possible to walk to Marlow with its many restaurants and bars. Lisa and Matt were extremely welcoming and left us lots of helpful information. We kept in touch whilst they were away and they were always available to promptly answer any questions about the house. We would definitely recommend this sit and would love to return again one day. Thank you so much Lisa & Matt for entrusting us with your home and beautiful Zahara.
We loved pet sitting for Christine and Clark! Nimbus was a ball of fun and Cypress was as sweet as could be. We ALMOST got a pet out of Momma Cat, too! Their house book was well thought out and they were able to answer any questions in person before they left for their trip. This was a great first experience for us using THS! We would definitely pet sit for them again if we are back in the area and available when they need it 😊
Sitting for Larissa was so enjoyable. House is well situated and so comfortable. Welcome guide was complete and detailed. “The boys” Seamus and Fig were wonderful, playful and with so much individual character. Getting to know them was quite interesting. They studied me a long while before approaching me but didn’t hesitate come mealtimes. Fig warmed up quicker than Seamus. This sit is highly recommended.
We enjoyed our time with Lucy's fur-babies in Grarne. The sit was comfortable and everything thing was carefully explained. We recommend future sitters with confidence.
Bubbles is such a sweetheart! She loves playing around with her bunch of toys, catching crickets / small lizards and good belly scratches. As she’s still a puppy she needs a lot of attention, sleep and love for sure. Dharmesh and Paulami are both very kind and courteous! They picked me up from the trainstation, showed me around the house and explained Bubbles schedule clearly. I stayed at their house with Dharmesh‘s parents which are very friendly as well and made me feel welcome all the time during my stay. We all tried our best to communicate as they only speak a little englisch and I don’t speak any indian. But all in all it worked very well, it was fun and I really enjoyed my stay at their place :) Thank you very much!
