This was the perfect house sit! Winston is a very charming, well behaved, smart and fun little companion with the cutest face you ever saw! He is excellent on the leash and we loved getting out into nature with him for some great hikes in the area. He will also ring the bells by the door when he needs a potty break, how cool is that! We miss him so much already! The house is a beautiful mountain getaway in a perfect Breckenridge location. Close enough to town but out of the way a bit surrounded by big tall pine trees. Picture drinking your morning coffee while watching the snow fall through the giant windows with the fireplace on and a warm cozy pup snuggling beside you, paradise for sure! The hot tub on the back patio was also a great way to relax in the evenings. Mary Jo and Dave made sure that the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was easy to cook some meals here, the bed is really comfortable and the Wi-Fi is great for working remotely. Highly recommended this sit and we would do it again in a heartbeat to spend time with our new friend Winston! Melanie and Bryan
We had a great time with Lyla, Bagel, and Diggy! Lyla is a sweetheart of a big dog. She loved taking walks around the neighborhood, going down to the river for a swim, and also hanging out in the backyard. She was so friendly, patient, and easy going. Bagel is a whirlwind of curiosity, playfulness, and hilarity. A little shy and skittish at times, he kept us on our toes with his desire to play and his explorations. Diggy is a fluffy wonder of sleep and cuteness. We loved checking in on him (Lyla and Bagel always wanted to join us for this:), and holding him from time to time. The house is in a great location near the river and some great paths. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Communication was fantastic and easy going. The whole family is gracious, kind, generous, and thoughtful. Highly recommended sit! We hope to be able to come back sometime ourselves.
The welcome was amazingly warm and the instructions clear as well !Both pets were a bit shy at the beginning, but we made friends quicky. The bedroom and bathroom are super tidy and we have access to the whole first floor. The neighborhood is also calm and charming. Wonderful experience ! Thank you very much !
This was a great experience! Mari is an excellent communicator. Her house is from the 1800s, beautifully remodeled, and very comfortable with everything you would need. A 10 minute walk to wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, and groceries. It was a joy to care for Pippen. As a Siamese he loves attention and play. Be prepared for snuggle sessions and lots of play time. He also loves to be brushed and does a happy dance I found adorable. I would sit for Mari anytime!
We had such an amazing time watching Zoe at Jennifer's house! Jennifer did a great job preparing us for the stay - she walked us through her house on video chat, and left us very detailed instructions we could refer back to. Zoe was so adorable - for 17 years old, she seems so young at heart! She was playful, talkative, and helped us keep on schedule for all of her regular routines. :) The DC monuments were close by, and we were able to explore the city for our first time! We'd love to come back, and highly recommend sitting for Jennifer's home in the future. :) We already miss Zoe!
It was an absolute pleasure to sit for Randi. Charlie is an amazing dog, full of energy and super fun to play with and be around. Randi left simple, easy to follow instructions for the sit, plus their complex has a great fitness center, beautiful lake, and a nice pool to lounge around at. 10/10 would recommend!
