Becky was amazing! When she arrived it was clear that she had studied the Welcome Guide and was ready to take care of my two dogs and my home with respect and knowledge. She could tell the difference between my two dogs, who are so similar in appearance some of my family members have a hard time telling them apart. She knew their diets, their health history and asked great questions to make sure they all had a great stay. She sent photos of their activities and I felt completely confident to leave my home and my best buddies in her care. When I returned home everything was in perfect order. Thanks Becky!!
Hannah and her children welcomed us into their cosy home to take care of Poppy and Bertie. We enjoyed a couple of hours with them all, which included taking the dogs for a walk so they would be comfortable with us. Poppy is a soppy bundle of affection, and Bertie is a slightly wary Romanian rescue dog who responded well to lots of love and gentle coaxing. They both loved to explore Blean Woods (literally over the road from the house), where Bertie is in his element, exploring and wandering around. Poppy would love to find a stick but would refuse to let go, so fetch was a short-lived game! The nature reserve covers a large area and offers wonderfully peaceful walks. The house was great for working from home as there were three areas to choose from, and Rough Common is ideally located for venturing into Canterbury, which is less than a ten-minute drive away. We would be more than happy to return in the future. Another sit we can highly recommend :)
