My rating is a reflection of our expectation for Zeewoi to really be trusted and unfortunately, I would not trust Cindy to come back and stay with us again. While we were gone Cindy asked if her adult son could come and stay at the house, our instincts were that it didn’t feel right and we hadn’t considered her son to stay nor was he reviewed or vetted through the app. We expressed that concern to Cindy and she complied saying that she understood that she was an AirBNB host and would also not like to have unexpected guests, I appreciated her understanding. After that we received an alert on our security cameras and saw what looked like Cindy sneaking a man into the house - Making sure he had a hood covering his face to hide from the porch camera. When asked, Cindy tried to explain that it was an emergency and he “had to stay” but nothing about the interaction felt genuine and we ultimately don’t feel like we would be able to trust Cindy and her family in our home in the future. Had she explained that it was an emergency, we would have been understanding, but the fact that she was not forthcoming and lied saying she would not have anyone else in the house, broke our trust. In addition, Cindy and her daughter purchased multiple shows on our Amazon account without asking - had we not noticed, I don’t know that they would have mentioned it. She did leave a $20 bill on the counter to cover the charges after I asked her about it. Overall, while our dog was ok and the house was clean when we got home…there was something unsettling about this house sit and would not recommend them to other hosts.
