Such a sweet little retreat with a totally adorable crew! Andrew & Alison are great communicators- so welcoming and organized. They nailed the descriptions of the pack; Lu, cat-like and so loving, Doc, great companion dog and a real dog’s dog, and sweet Cowgirl who is very tender and shy but nonetheless a true love. It was rainy & wet while we sat so we enjoyed walking them around the beautiful hilly neighborhood rather than the adjacent trails. Cow is strong on leash so we followed A&A’s instructions to a T and mastered the walks from the start & easily. We loved our time in this artsy bungalow & look forward to returning. Definitely recommend to a couple or someone with time for walking dogs in rotation.

I loved house sitting for Wafa and hanging out her her lovable, sweet, darling little Zane! He was such a joy to hang out with. Wafas home was very clean and comfortable. I loved going to the ocean which was only a short drive from her home. There were many good restaurants and cute places to eat and visit near by. Her neighborhood was nice and very safe. Perfect for taking Zane for walks. I would definitely house sit for her again.
Had the most marvelous time on the West coast of Ireland with Queen Hoppy. Hoppy is such a cool cat to look after - so quirky, smart and chatty. She even does tricks! The house is beautiful and very comfortable with an amazing view of the water and the hills of the Burren. Rita and Michelle were so generous, they even left me a home-cooked dinner and Michelle let me borrow her dry robe for sea swims. I went for an icy dip in the water a couple of times - once at the pier, and another time at Fanore Beach. If you get a chance, definitely do it! In terms of Ballyvaughan, there's a cute whiskey bar up the road where the locals are all very friendly, and live music every night at Hylands - had a couple of great nights there! It's also a short walk to Ailwee Caves, but I didn't get time in the end. The list goes on. The place is also an easy bus to the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin and Galway, so I was able to do a few day trips. If you had a car, you'd be able to see a lot more too! Even just working at home with Hoppy was a lovely time in such a beautiful location. Cannot recommend this sit enough. Thank you Rita and Michelle! Will miss the Hoppy girl loads.
What a pleasure it was to care Bertie, Cookie and Olly. And look after the comfortable, well appointed and beautiful home that Rebecca and Terry have created. Cheeky Bertie stole our hearts. He was well behaved on his walks, with good recall (if you have treats) and a snuggler on the sofa. Olly, the old man, kept himself tucked away on his sofa in the den most of the time, but warmed to us in a couple of days. He needed to be lifted up to eat on the counter in the utility room and was fine with us handling him. Cookie competed with Bertie for sofa snuggles, and let us know when it was feeding and letting out time (because as cat slaves we do that despite him having a dog/cat flap to use). The tastefully decorated house is in a quiet road, the kitchen has everything a keen cook needs, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Locally there are good shops for grocery, a short drive away there are bigger supermarkets including a Marks and Spencer foodhall. While we were we visited Old Leigh which is charming, and took the train along the longest pier in the world in Southend on Sea. Phil and I would highly recommend this sit. We hope to be able to return and spend time with the boys.
