We loved this sit!! Bobbi and Larry were wonderful hosts….. showing us around SMdA and pointing out bank, restaurants, shops, etc. they left excellent instructions and responded quickly to questions. All communications were great pre and during sit. The cats…… Bella, Fluffy, Buffy and Red all had their personality quirks. At first we called them the phantom cats, because we only saw them at feeding time. After they became more used to us they hung out in the living room with us. The house is exquisite, with a magnificent overview of SMdA and spacious rooms with intriguing artwork. We were honored and so pleased to be chosen for this sit and to get back into international travel and sitting after pandemic restrictions. If you get the lucky chance to do this sit, take it!!!
I very much enjoyed meeting and sitting for Diane and Julian. Their home is lovely and the backyard spacious and peaceful. Their dogs, Bea and Marco, were both endearing and a joy to sit for. I miss them already!
I absolutely loved sitting for Victoria. Ginger, Moxi & Pirate Jenny were fabulous companions and loved keeping me company. Ginger and I had a great time hiking together. Victoria's place was very comfortable (that bed was heaven!) and the location was great right across from the metro, groceries, restaurants, etc., such a lively area. I loved sitting out on the porch just watching the city do it's thing and I enjoyed eating fresh veggies from her amazing garden! Victoria is an interesting, bright and cool chick with a great bio and she even loaned me her camping gear before the sit so I could go camping with my son! I love meeting cool people and would welcome another sit for Victoria.
Myrha was very communicative and accommodating from the start. She gave us all the information needed for taking care of the pets and home. Simba and Winston are absolute sweethearts. Winston took some time to be comfortable around us but it was worth it, he is a shy boy! We enjoyed our time surrounded by beautiful mountains in the cozy feeling of home at Myrha’s home. We would recommend this sit to anyone looking for a pets and home :)
It was terrific to work with Nikki! She was friendly and easy to communicate with before and during the sit. Zoe is an adorable dog who is playful, cute, and full of happy energy. I especially loved how she would do the head tilt when I would talk to her. She was so well-behaved during the walks and at home. She readily goes in the crate when told. She is cuddly and loving and yet is also comfortable on her own. Their home is modern and lovely. I found the location convenient with several shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance, and many more amenities a short drive away.
I had the pleasure of doing a short last minute sit looking after the lovely and fluffy Billu for Sofia and her family. Sofia was great with communication both prior to and during the sit. We had a nice video chat over WhatsApp before accepting the sit and she took me through the important things to know. She also kindly sent me a few short video clips over WhatsApp showing me how to release the pull down bed and where to find things. When I arrived I was able to collect the keys from her extremely friendly neighbours. I cat sat for just two nights, and the first evening Billu was somewhat aloof and just kept to himself. However, after he learnt that I would also give him food and treats he would slowly begin to spend more time in the sitting room with me. By the final morning he was quite friendly and affectionate. If you are staying for more than a few nights I fully imagine he will be quite lovely towards you once he gets to know you. The flat was spacious and comfortable. The pull down bed in the sitting room was extremely comfortable and was easy to pull out and put away each morning. The location is also quite nice being just a few minutes walk to the Raynes Park train station and a high street with a few different shops and restaurants. Wimbledon Broadway with many more shops and restaurants is only about a 20 minute walk away. I really enjoyed this sit, and Sofia's friendliness and great communication made it quite easy.
