Denise took spectacular care of my two suspicious- of- outsiders felines. Within a day, one was offering up kisses in the a m and the other became the snuggly being even I rarely see. The house i returned to was spotless— it took some serious convincing to get her to merely strip (not wash, dry, and replace)the bed she had used! She took the time to communicate via text and texts-with-photos of her charges. I was delighted to learn she will be moving to my area soon—because I know I will be requesting more sitting from her. We hope to meet for lunch during her next visit!
Olive is such a wonderful little dog! You will instantly fall in love with her. Great, great dog. The location is in the Jeju countryside. The owners have a car, but you can easily access both Jeju City and Seogwipo by bus if needed. Margaret's guidebook covers most everything. The hosts are very giving, kind people. Everything one needs is already at the house. A great opportunity to hang out with a pug and to visit an unusual part of Korea.
Paula is a lovely lady, she showed us the area and treated us to lunch in a local beauty spot before she left us. Her home is beautiful, immaculately clean, (twice-weekly cleaner and weekly gardener) and she made us very welcome. Alfie and Bianca, her two rescue dogs are a delight. They are so easy to look after, love attention but also amuse themselves in the garden all day. We would definitely recommend this house-sit.
The space is amazing, very beautiful home a a great location. Sarah and Tom are super communicative as well. Piper has some serious pipes and is a really sweet dog who warms up very quickly.
Lucy and Dom were very kind and had fantastic communication with us prior to and during our stay. They were very organised, welcoming and helpful. Their fur baby, Bailey, was very smart and a good learner. Her need for cuddles just made us laugh. She especially has the eyes that speak to you. We had a wonderful time taking care of Bailey and their home. We will miss the spectacular view from their home too. Thank you so much for having us, we absolutely loved our stay. We're more than happy to house/pet sit for them again.
We had a lovely stay looking after Gaba. Laura and Jordi made us feel very welcome and we had the chance to get to know them before they left on holiday They introduced us to Gaba on our first evening and he " studied" us carefully. Over the next few days we started to get to know him better and he proved to be a lot of fun. Early morning he liked to play, in the afternoon he used to cat-nap, and after a couple of days we got to know his favourite games. Hide and seek, catch me if you can, mousetrap (toy mouse!) and in the box out of the box! Gaba also liked to drink “draught “water rather than from the bottle or his water tray! He used to follow us into the bathroom and glug away from the tap as if it was the most natural thing in the world! He was great! He became a real companion in the following weeks and we were very sad to have to say goodbye. Laura and Jordi’s flat is in a lovely part of Lyon, a pleasant walk away from the old town and situated on the river. We had a wonderful month . Thank you Laura and Jordi. And thank you Gaba for being such a good boy.
