Had a fantastic time in Kathy and Richard's lovely home with their sweet cat, Bella. I spoke to Kathy and Richard via a call before the sit, and already got the sense they were wonderful people. I was given a warm welcome when I arrived, as well as some delicious tea and biscuits. Richard then showed me around the house and handed me a crib sheet to refer to, so everything was clear and easy. Bella is a really friendly, loveable cat. She would greet me when she saw me, and enjoyed being stroked or sitting on my lap while I worked from home. Thanks again, Kathy and Richard; I would be happy to return anytime!
This was a truly great house sit. Sarah and David were very welcoming and helpful, and their house is beautiful and comfortable, and in a great location for walks in the woods. Nuzzy is a big regal dog you can't help but love. Alice is young and loves to play. The perfect pair of pooches to hang out with. Would love to sit for Sarah and David again.
We looked after Ozzy the cat and Lemmy the spaniel for one week in this beautiful area. We met Gemma and her partner the evening before so Gemma could show us around and explain the pet care etc and so the animals could at least see us briefly before we arrived to stay the following morning. They were very welcoming and made us very comfortable. We immediately bonded with Lemmy he was a beautiful and very sweet dog, a little nervous when we first arrived but as soon as given a bit of attention he got used to us very quickly and we both absolutely loved him. He was extremely well behaved and really enjoyed his walks in the fields and he loved going in the car on our various trips out. Ozzy the cat was a lovely placid male cat who came and went and often joined us on the sofa. The house is situated in stunning scenery with several chocolate box villages within an easy 30 mins drive of the house, through stunning countryside.Each village seemed to be prettier than the next. We loved our time here and were very sad to leave these lovely animals. Things to note - shops seem to close on Mondays, and often close for 3 hours at lunchtime - so you need to plan around that. We would be more than happy to look after sweet Lemmy and Ozzy again - they were a complete pleasure.
We had a great time sitting for Ed and Mellisa. Mini and Stuart were fun and easy to look after. Walking Mini was super easy with a nice, big park literally across the street from the house. The was was very nice and super convenient to all that SLC and the surrounding area has to offer. If you are looking to explore this area of the country do not hesitate to apply for this sit!
Kate was amazing to deal with. Great communication, very helpful and a lovely lady on top. Billie and Basil were beautiful dogs. Very loving and great company on many rainy days in Sydney.
Rusty is an absolute joy 🐾💗! He was very welcoming, gave me guided tours of all the amazing country walks in the area, has great recall and is a champion snuggler. I believe he thought he was babysitting me ☺️ I'd highly recommend to anyone who loves long walks in the fresh air with lots of dog friendly pubs along the way.
