Dog Sitters in Near Sawrey

Caroline and Rob are the best the house sitters you could wish for. They were very flexible with our arrival and departure times due to our flights and nothing was any trouble. We did not worry about Teddie for a second as we knew he was in great hands and was being spoiled rotten. Caroline and Rob sent daily video's and photos of their various walks, tea shops and walks to our local pub. It was such a joy to know that they were enjoying their stay and Teddie was as happy as larry! Caroline and Rob are fabulous and very caring and 5 stars are not enough! When we returned home the house was immaculate, and Teddie was beautifully groomed and very happy. We cannot thank Caroline and Rob aka Auntie C and Uncle B enough for their care, patience and the genuine affection to our Teddster. We are all looking forward to seeing you in March. Kirsten and Jona were wonderful sitters and I would welcome them back anytime! Medlar was really well looked after and I know he missed them when they left. The house and plants were beautifully clean, tidy and healthy on my return. Kirsten is a very calm, peaceful presence in the home which was perfect for Medlar.

Sophia came to do the house sit on her own. She was very reliable and organised getting here, everything was very straightforward with Sophia right from the beginning, which I really appreciated. She looked after my animals very well and also watered my garden and let the gardener in twice. Sophia sorted things out herself during the sit, she was self sufficient, even though I said it was fine to ask me any questions through messages. She is a lovely and gentle person that I knew would be good with all the animals and I could see this on return by the fact that my largest dog was reluctant to let her leave! She made me Dinner and we had a lovely chat when I arrived home after a long journey 🧡 Thank you Sophia.

Louise is a kind, caring, thoughtful and conscientious person and we felt really lucky to have her pet and house sit for us. She gave us regular updates on how the animals were getting on, and made sure that our anxious elderly dog felt re-assured by her presence. Louise came with her own bedding, towels and even tea towels which meant the house was just as we left it when we returned with the addition of a bowl of fresh fruit from her garden! Thank you so much for looking after everyone so well 😊

Lindsey was a fabulous sitter for our two girls, we don't think they missed us at all! We were kept up to date with all the activity back home and the house was very clean and tidy on our return. We would most definitely recommend Lindsey for any other sits and if she ever wanted to sit for us again she would be most welcome. Thanks Lindsey.

Mia and Lachie were wonderful house sitters! Would welcome them back anytime! Mia communicated well before, during and even after the sit :) They arrived promptly as agreed. We agreed about them leaving before we arrived as we were getting late. House and the dog looked very well taken care when we came back. Harry and Katrina were a super couple. I needed house sitters at very late notice and first Harry came to the rescue followed a few days later with Katrina...I had to then extend my time away and Katrina stayed on until I could return. I was very grateful and appreciated their flexibility and reliability. They took great care of everything while I had a difficult situation in UK, I didn't need to worry, they stepped in when previous house sitters needed to leave and made the changeover with excellent communication despite the late notice. Highly recommend this young, independent and kind couple.

You and your son did an awesome job, and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Your vibes were super chill, and it was obvious from the get-go that you know your way around taking care of furballs. I loved how you took the time to chat about Izzy's quirks and preferences – made me feel like she was in good hands. And can we talk about your reliability? Spot on! Knowing I didn't have to stress about Izzy's schedule let me enjoy my weekend without a worry in the world. The updates and pics you sent were the highlight of my day. It's clear – you genuinely cared about Izzy's well-being. It meant a lot, seriously. Thanks again for being flexible with Izzy's needs. Your easygoing nature and willingness to roll with her quirks made a world of difference. All in all, you guys get a solid 5 stars from us. You're the best!

Larysa and her daughter were perfect house sitters. We had a couple of video calls before they came and I could tell that Larysa was a very thorough person who wanted to know all the details of the house and what was required. While we were away Larysa sent daily photos of our cat who seemed to be very content in their company. I came home to a happy cat and an immaculate home. Our cleaners came for our weekly clean the next day and said their was nothing for them to do because the house was spotless! I would highly recommend Larysa and her daughter. Larysa is a lovely person who will treat your house with care and respect. She will take excellent care of your pets.

We were so lucky to have Claire and Steven look after our cats and home while we were away. Our feline lovelies quickly settled down with them and it was reassuring to get regular photos of them. The house was wonderfully clean when we arrived home and we would have no hesitation in inviting them to cat-sit again. Many thanks Claire and Steven.

Hannah and Matt are both kind, calm and are genuinely an amazing couple. They absolutely loved both my little dogs and took great care of them with lots of walks, play, cuddles and attention. I received lots of photos and updates while I was away so I could see how happy the dogs were. The house was kept neat and tidy which was much appreciated. They are very respectful. I would 100% recommend them and would definitely be happy for them to sit again for me.

We wouldn't hesitate to have Bettina back! Our cat was well looked after & we got regular photo updates :) Communicative throughout, and left the house absolutely immaculate. We recommend Bettina to anyone looking for a sitter!
