I enjoyed my sit with Tamra’s five sweet kitties! They were quite shy but gradually warmed up and were a delight to be around. Tamra’s apartment was clean and comfortable, and I loved the eclectic and vibrant artwork from all over the world! Her apartment is conveniently located, close to everything Evanston has to offer and near public transportation as well. The neighborhood and neighbors were very quiet. Tamra was a great communicator and answered all my questions quickly.
This was a really lovely sit, I didn't meet Prue but we had good communication before and during the sit. Both cats spent most of their time outside. Fingal was very friendly and loves his food, Tabitha is shy and timid and only comes in at night so I hardly saw her. Lovely area to explore, you do need a car and be prepared for some narrow lanes. The neighbours were very helpful showing me round. It is a lovely comfortable house, big garden and I was able to pick fruit and vegetables. Prue was very kind and left me a freshly picked starter box. I have been to the Borders before but not stayed for any length of time. The weather was good so there was lots to do but the house has a balcony so in the sunshine it was the perfect place to sit. I would certainly go back and I do recommend this sit.
I enjoyed taking care of Maui, he is such a sweet boy! I was able to meet Adria and Dylan before the sit, they are a really lovely couple. Their home is clean and comfortable and very accessible to DC. I would definitely recommend this sit.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable couple of weeks looking after Milo and Sam. Both Jill and Les were very welcoming and had everything well organized in their lovely home and spacious garden which assisted us to quickly fit in with Milo and Sam’s routines. Milo is an adorable, intelligent, affectionate teddy bear, he is very well behaved when you take him walking in the surrounding woods, which were lovely. Sam is a little cutie and we had lots of cuddles upstairs when Milo wasn’t around trying to chase him ! The area is very pleasant and has little villages within walking distance. It was a real pleasure to pet sit and we would love to do it again if we had the opportunity in the future.
Great house and really lovely well behaved pets. Felicity was very helpful and left plenty of info and everything I needed. Local pub and good farm shop nearby as well as lots of good walking.
If you ever get the chance to meet Fatima and sit Claudine, TAKE IT!! The level of thoughtfulness and care for detail that Fatima puts into her guests' experience is supreme. It's apparent that she is highly considerate of how one will feel in her space and made me feel at home before I had even arrived. Claudine, Claudine, Claudine. . . it took her about a half day to warm up to me, and boy, once she did... we were in love! She is so friendly, the softest cat you may ever get to rub, and has the most entertaining personality. I only stayed for a few days but the two of us bonded quickly and I miss her already! The home is absolutely stunning and filled with life and personality. It's in a super accessible area to Downtown Nashville, even on a main artery, while maintaining a sense of privacy and security. I felt comfortable and open there instantly. Overall, I trust that any sitter blessed with this opportunity will be thankful they found it. The energy is warm and inviting and the love you find will stay with you when you leave. <3
