Kevin
Highly recommend Kevin and Zachary housesits! They have a lovely large, clean, well-lit apartment in a nice neighborhood and two super sweet cats.

Charlie is younger, still quite playful, and absolutely loves to be near you--my lap was never empty for more than a few minutes after sitting down. Tucker is a slow-moving old, mellow, introverted fellow who tends rebuff Charlie's rambunctiousness and, when not cloistered away for tucker time in daddy’s closet, tends to observe happenings from a good viewing perch (or banana box) nearby. Since Tucker is bit older, there is some special care for him needed as he can get anxious with new people and needs to eat smaller amounts slower throughout the day to keep his meal down.

Kevin & Zachary are great pet owners and gave great introductions to their boys and various cat-personal traits and quirks, as well as to their apartment. They gave great instructions, left a load of toys, checked in regularly and were always responsive if I had any questions or concerns at all.

I stayed in an adorable little private guest room with a remarkably comfortable pull out couch and my own guest bathroom so I didn’t have to worry about disturbing their usual sleeping space. They were so sweet to have it all ready and leave out a towel and all the things…and knowing that I liked wine and coffee, even pulled out their dusty moka pot and left a bottle of wine, gratis! It actually felt more like an airbnb than a housesit.

Also, great wifi, and good location. I would say having a car is nice, but also there is a starbucks and a couple restaurants in walking distance, and could’ve done this housesit without a car, if needed.
I'd sit for them again in a heartbeat <3

Monica
This was my first sit and there's no possible way it could have been better. Monica and Joel went above and beyond to get me oriented. That really helped me get to know Piero, their home, and them on a more personal level. My partner Marty and I quickly fell in love with Piero and our new regular routine at Joel and Monica's peaceful home. Their home is a beautiful respite in a gorgeous part of Maine. More importantly, Piero has the most charming personality of any cat I've ever met, and he has very fun, kind, and trusting humans. Can't wait to come back and sit here again!

Sophie
I had a lovely stay with Riko and Randall. They are very cute bunnies and very easy to take care of. Although I didn't meet Sophie the communication between us was excellent. Sophie left detailed notes on bunny and house care and decorated the house so it was very Christmassy, which was much appreciated. The house is really comfortable and I would totally recommend this sit and would love to be invited again.

Dan
Dan and Jess, along with their sweet pets, made this a wonderful sit. Dan and Jess are so friendly, generous, and responsive. They wanted to make sure I had an enjoyable time while caring for their cute animals. They have a lovely, clean, spacious home. They made sure I was in touch with their neighbors should I need anything and that I knew how everything worked so I would be as comfortable as possible during my two-week stay. They gave me multiple options of where to sleep during my stay. I chose the master bedroom so the dogs wouldn’t be displaced. At least one cat slept with me most nights.

Dakota, Sunny, Juno, and Ginger are all very friendly, well-trained, love attention, love to retrieve, and just want to be where you are. The indoor/outdoor cats Brian Wilson and Liam are trained to come when their names are called, which was adorable to witness. Brian Wilson is more social and playful; Liam is shy at first. All six pets were wonderful to care for. The time flew by and I was sad to leave them! I would love to see these sweeties again.
