Jo is a very lovely woman and was welcoming and helpful from start to finish of this sit. This is a beautiful retreat like house sit ...plan to do little other than enjoy the local land and Jo's gorgeous animals. Flynn is such a gentle soul and Claude is very chilled and loves laps to lie on! The chickens are proper free range and very self sufficient. The beauty and atmosphere in Jo's home is calming for the heart and soul and has clearly been made from love and lots of hard work! My son and I so enjoyed our time here and would very much love to return. Thank you so much Jo for entrusting us with your precious home and animals.
Heidi and Mark were gracious hosts, the house was comfortable and clean, and Willow was a pleasure to watch after. She is a very friendly, loving and well-behaved dog, especially considering her age. The house sits next to a beautiful park that overlooks London, what a view! The neighborhood had many conveniences within walking distance. We enjoyed our time with Willow and are happy to have met Heidi, Mark and the kids. Would recommend this sit!
Dominique and Blake are fabulous hosts! I was immediately at ease when I arrived at their sweet home and was greeted with a very warm welcome! The house has everything you need for a most comfortable stay, including fresh figs from the tree outside! We exchanged regular communication throughout my stay and expectations were clear and easy to follow. Maggie is a LOVE! So cute and very clever. We bonded right away and went everywhere together. I will miss those snuggles! Would love to return one day soon. I highly recommend this house sit!
Dunstan is a total star - one of the loveliest and easiest dogs I have come across. I was warmly welcomed and communication was super helpful throughout. Set in beautiful nature, this quirky arty home is in a quiet village only a ten minute drive to Glastonbury! Thank you for having me ☺️
Had a great experience with this sit. All of the cats are beautiful and so easy to take care of and the house is great with such an excellent location. Would highly recommend.
This was a virtually perfect sit. Wesley and Kyomi have a beautiful house with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The guest bed is actually comfortable and the room is nicely furnished. The kitchen is also well appointed and a beautiful place to cook to eat (they have a microwave alternative, which I ended up not using since I found it easier to reheat food on the stove). The bathroom is a dream! The animals: I cared for Noche (cat) and Tortellini (tortoise) and couldn’t have asked for nicer animals. Tort does his own thing, and I really enjoyed watching him! I totally underestimated the speed (and size) of a tortoise! They move much faster than you think. Noche kept to herself in the begging but joined me in bed towards the end. She comes and goes as she pleases so when she lets you pet her/be in her presence, consider yourself lucky. We’d and Kyomi were communicative and very friendly. The neighborhood is filled with trees and very close to a lot of interesting activities. I highly recommend this sit and would love to sit for them again.
