Lovely welcoming family with extremely comfortable house including all the mod cons Rescue dogs Milly and Roxy were at first very wary of us but after perseverance we won them over and had lots of long walks and cuddles
The best host we could ever ask for. Simone and Scott have been just amazing since the start. They invited us to come over earlier, so we could spend time with them and the dogs. Simone took us on a small walk with Aja and Axel so they could get used to us. She even prepared a delicious dinner for us, and we talked the whole evening. She gave us so many amazing recommendations on what to do and see in the area. The house was so nicely prepared for us with everything we needed, and even more. They were so generous and kind that we felt at home and as part of the family. Aja and Axel were the sweetest cuddliest dogs, always ready for adventures, perfectly behaved, and raised pets. We are truly thankful that we could petsit for Simone and Scott, and we hope to see them again soon. We would be more than happy to petsit for them anytime we will be in the area again:)
This was my first THS sit and it set the bar high! I had a wonderful week caring for Mr. Tibbs and Jim! They are two of the most loving and sweetest cats that I’ve ever known. They each have very different personalities, Mr. Tibbs is assertive and vocal while Jim is quiet and skittish. Despite those differences, they get along so well and regularly exhibit lots of love for each other. They gave me a bunch of opportunities for adorable pictures to send to Nicole so she could see how they were doing. I was a little nervous about giving Mr. Tibbs his medication at the beginning of the week, but he was stayed patient with me! Nicole was generous, laid back and easy to communicate with from the moment I applied until I finished my sit. She gave me clear directions and care tips - for her cats as well as her home - which made my stay so much smoother. Nicole was always open and willing to answer all my questions. Plus, her home is beautiful, modern and in a great location for exploring the best of West Asheville by foot or car. I would return to sit in Jim and Mr. Tibbs anytime!!
Truly the most amazing incredible loving dog we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. We felt so lucky to be welcomed into Alex and Elizabeth’s home and were absolutely spoiled with their hospitality and generosity. Polly immediately won us over with her puppy personality, sweet cuddles and absolute softest fur we have ever ding dang felt. The neighborhood was perfect and so walkable, public transport was very easy to use and we found ourselves exploring the city with the best companion! Alex and Elizabeth maintained great communication, provided fun recommendations, and were quick to answer any questions. Polly even came to celebrate Pride with us! We left our hearts in San Fran with Miss Poll and are excited to hang out with her soon. 🥹💕🤗
We really enjoyed our stay with Lulu & Henry! They are such well behaved dogs and were so fun to hang out with. The house is lovely and in such a convenient location to the dog park, hiking trails, and any stores that you’ll need. Lisa left great instructions on what to do, where to go and she was easy to communicate with before and during the stay.
