Natalie took good care of my cat Trixie. She sent frequent updates and promptly communicated if any issues occurred during her sit. I appreciate Natalie’s help with everything, I came back home to a happy cat and a clean house.

Karen
I had an absolutely lovely time in Karen’s house with the two sweethearts Bojangles and Wilson. The house is small, but nice, however, I spent most of the time in the lush garden. The kitchen is well equipped and as the sitter you have use of the guest room.

Communication with Karen was great, not only was she very warm and welcoming, but she also always responded promptly to any question I had during her absence.

Wilson and Bojangles are a true joy to take care of, both VERY loving and affectionate, while well-behaved (mostly :) ).
You just have to careful to set some boundaries from the beginning: they might try to climb into your bed at night, but resign themselves to staying in their own beds, if you firmly push them off a few times.
Also, be sure that they - especially Bojangles - don’t get anything to put their teeth in such as their dog beds. Too much fun to create confetti from it 😊

Both just looove to go on their walks and get very excited, when they realise it’s about time to go out. In the walk, Bojangles’ hunting instinct is coming out and he pulls not only you, but also Wilson along. They both get along fine with other dogs and like all people, even though Bojangles is typically (and somehow surprisingly) more timid and shy with other dogs than Wilson.

Wilson is a bit less forceful in his personality than Bojangles, always for cuddles, trying to snuggle up to you whenever he can.

All in all, I truly enjoyed my stay with them and would happily sit for Karen again.

Beautiful home - clean and efficient, and lovely pet parents. Kitties old and frail, mostly sleep, though Dexter loves attention. Care requires a little vigilance around logistics of optimal medications administration in the morning. I would happily care for Dex and Zidane again.

kevin
Rang in a wonderfully quiet New Years spent with my furry friends! Kevin is a laid back, easy to communicate person .. An acupuncturist-zen atmosphere, just minutes from the beach & shopping outlets, his adorable dogs, and warm home served as an oasis for a few days during NYE/Day. Jackson is older and was understandably was nervous during the occasional NYE fireworks that popped in the neighborhood as Asbury rang in the new year. But he is a wonderful snugglebug who will simply be next to you to cuddle his fears away. Orion is a lovingly adorable good-boy with a love for chewing his bones while cuddling on the couch. Both dogs loved to run & play ball in the yard. I would absolutely sit for Kevin again! And hope to see him again in the future! Thank you.

Ruth
Ruth was very laid back and welcoming, picking me up from the train station, stopping by the grocery store and showing me around the neighborhood. Sydney was instantly friendly and we got along well for the 6+ week sit. Ruth was very considerate and even had Sydney groomed right before. Ruth’s home was well stocked and renovated with all the modern amenities. It was also helpful to have access to her truck. Communication was quick when I had questions even though she was in a different time zone. Sydney was always near my side and a big cuddler. I’ll leave more details about the routine Sydney and I got into for future sitters, but the headline is I would happily sit for Ruth and Sydney again.

Routine: Sydney was happy to sleep in, but enjoyed her walk soon after getting out of bed. Around midday she liked to be held at some point. Often, she asked for a walk in the afternoon/early evening. She knows all of the local shops (and neighbor) that have dog treats; they know her by name. She’s all about sniffing and saying hi to people; she seemed to be curious about other dogs, but would give them warning barks. By the evening she liked to play downstairs with her toys and then would usually eat most of her food at night (if I was with her). She didn’t want to go to bed if I wasn’t going to bed but would start to give me side eyes if I stayed up too late; as your buddy, she’ll make sure you don’t work too hard or skimp on sleep. Sometimes at night she wanted down from the bed to try to cool off and would eventually want back up. She had a couple of accidents early on, but nothing for the majority of the sit. A couple of times her stomach got upset or she ate a little too fast, but her system settled down quickly. I left her alone a few times but I think she would get worried and wanted to stay in my lap when I returned. So I tried not to leave her much because of that, which was relatively easy as Ruth has almost everything you could need in her home (kitchen gadgets, an office with a monitor, a sun roof, etc).

We had a wonderful sit in Chapmanslade with the lovely Monkey, Pandy, Peanut and Sugar. The dogs are so delightful and a joy to be with, we certainly got our dog fix! They were so placid and friendly and we felt part of their gang straight away.

From playing in the back garden to taking them to the local fields with their balls (which they loved) to long walks over the beautiful countryside our time could not have been better. We will miss the dogs cuddling up on the sofa in the evenings, with Pandy sitting all over us! Let's not forget Peanut and Sugar who loved their scraps of veg in the afternoons.

Rosie and Richard left perfect instructions in their lovely home as to what to do with the pets and where to explore in the local area. This included hints and tips of where to visit.

Thank you guys for sharing your pets and home with us.

Thank you for a wonderful week with Daisy & Lettuce. They are two lovely girls who are very relaxed & super friendly. I have loved exploring the local walks & seeing the River Test with it’s abundance of wildlife.

The house, looking out on acres of nature, is so relaxing & calm. The garden is stunning especially in the full bloom of Summer!

This is an exceptional sit & perfect retreat space for those who adore beautiful spaces.

I leave with so many great memories & will treasure my time with these lovely girls.

I would return in an instant.
