We want to thank Amanda and her family for giving us the opportunity to house sit and look after their fur babies. We looked after Chino and Coco, two really gorgeous cats with so much character. If we could have fitted them in our car...LOL Amanda and her family made us feel very welcome in the home, which was really lovely, and the garden was very enjoyable to be out in. The communication was very good all throughout which was great. We had a wonderful time, thank you for giving us the opportunity and we wouldn't hesitate to sit again should the opportunity arise. You may think that looking after a farm with its animals is a demanding task but you cannot imagine how fulfilling and rewarding it can turn out to be. Especially with all the lovely and playful animals we spent time with: Arnie the horse, the amazing and loving dogs - Willow, Obi, Jake, Cooper, Pepper and Ginger - as well as the ducks, geese and chickens! We are truly thankful with Nick and Dee’s generosity who made us feel at home since day one and were supportive with everything we needed. We would definitely love to return and, of course, we recommend this sitting!
We had a wonderful Christmas sit with Meika at Ian&Helens! They were very kind hosts and we were warmly welcomed. Taking Meika to the park and the reserve down the road is a nice walk, the neighbourhood is domestic and child-friendly. Meika loved to cool down in the creek and at the beach, she's an adorable fluff and lovely to have around and very easy going. This house sit felt just like being at home. Thank you!
We had an absolutely lovely time in Kirkcaldy with Charlie! He warmed up to us fast and we had lots of fun! We already miss him. Rachael is very kind, the communication was flawless and her apartment is very nice, with everything that you need for a cosy home. We did a lot of short day trips, there is lots to see in the region and with a car you can get around easily. Definitely recommended!
Couldn't have been a better home in a better location! Matt & Meghan made my first housesit so easy, they were great to communicate with before and all throughout my stay - quick to respond, give recommendations, answer questions, etc. Definitely set the bar high as hosts. There were so many shops, restaurants, and convenience stores within minutes of the home, and there's more than enough around in a walking distance to see and do that you don't even need to get on the subway (which is also only a few blocks away). We only got to watch Buttercup, and she was an absolute sweetheart. If she hears you rustling with food she'll come running, and she also loves belly rubs and just being near you. We had the best time housesitting, would definitely come back and recommend to others.
