Natalie was a wonderful and extremely attentive and thorough housesitter and caretaker for Melli my cat. While I was away she made a special celebration for Melli’s bday and sang to her and got her a card, and sent me a video. Every day she would check in with pictures and took extra good care of her. Melli developed a slight eye infection while I was away and she offered to take her to the vet which also demonstrated her dedication to the job. She comes highly rated and I would recommend her always.
Sameera was very communicative and made me feel very welcome in her home. The house is very large and she encouraged me to host others during my stay, which I really appreciated! Tikka is a young, excitable, smart, and expressive dog with tons of love to spread around. I thoroughly enjoyed walking him and cuddling with him on the couch. I would recommend this stay if you are looking to explore Northern Virginia and DC!
I loved every minute of this sit! Billy & Jess are cute little creatures and I enjoyed spending time with them. They don’t mind some attention (especially around feeding time xD) but mostly are very independent and self-sufficient cats, so it was very easy to take of them. They are also very punctual with their feeding time so no chance you’ll miss it - you’d better be an early bird :) Penny and Lynn’s house is a dream! It’s bright and cozy. You can feel how everything there is done with so much love and attention, that inspires a lot. Penny and Lynn made me feel very welcome and gave me good instructions of everything in the house. The area is very peaceful and beautiful, you have a Bushy park with deers very close to the house, nice river walks, stylish Richmond and Kingston in a short bus ride. It’s about 40 min from central London by train which is also fine (to be honest I didn’t want to go anywhere far away from Teddington as I fell in love with the area) Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

Nell and Rya were wonderful. Nell is perhaps the most loving dog we have encountered. Rya was just a sweetheart. Instructions were very clear. Would gladly do this sit again.
House sitting for Alex was a ton of fun! We’ve always wanted to experience life in a tiny home and we were not disappointed. His home is comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Including plenty of awesome spices for cooking! Chai is an absolute sweetheart. She spent most of her time off exploring, but when she came around she loved to be pet and snuggle up. The chickens were a breeze to care for and so was the garden. Leavenworth is an awesome area to explore! The little Bavarian themed town has plenty of fun thing to do, and you can’t beat the scenery and hikes nearby. We really enjoyed our stay!

So my friends and I rarely get days off together. When we did we decided to go to Monterey. We brought our 2 dogs and unfortunately we cant bring them to Aquarium. Last minute I called Signature Paw Spa and luckily they have availability. I dropped my dogs just 15-20 mins after I called them and we all were able to go to the aquarium. They are really nice people and had kept me updated about my babies from time to time and My babies seemed to have enjoyed their time at Tonya's. I definitely recommend them
It was my first time leaving my 5 month old puppy with a pet sitter, and Signature Pet Spa/Tonya was awesome to put both me and my pup at ease. Tonya managed to work me in even though I called the day before I needed a pet sitter. She sent updates and pictures of my puppy enjoying her day, and my pup came back to me happy and well exercised when I picked her up. I definitely will be using Signature Pet Spa again!
Hands down the best dog experience!!!! I’ve used many dog services while traveling and I have to say ginger loved this place the moment she arrived. The owner came out to greet her and I when we arrived, which is a wonderful added bonus compared to some other place I have been to. The property offers a big grassy area for her to run and play, I was thrilled to see Tanya bonded perfectly from the moment ginger arrived. Signature Paw Spa is a life saver. My dog sitter canceled last minute on me and I was able to get my dog Charlie in at Signature Paw Spa. They sent me lots of pictures and videos of him playing with all his other little friends. Charlie was in their care for 3 days and he had a fabulous time! Tonya was so nice and accommodating - we asked for overnight boarding on the weekend with no notice and she was able to take our dog no problem. We got a few updates during his stay and felt very confident that he was getting great care in a wonderful setting. We would absolutely go to signature paw spa again!

i highly recommend SPS. Tonya the owner is VERY VERY organized and was very easy to communicate with. The dog sitting part of her business is at a large lovely home in Carmel. Convenient location for Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. Tonya coordinated everything and was so nice to be flexible to our travel plans.. Decker was given lots attention and came back to us very happy
Mary was nice enough to take on our senior dog as a new client. We were looking for a trusted groomer who would be patient with him as he is stubborn. Mary was able to help get him all cleaned up. She shared he was a little spicy and she only did what she felt like he was comfortable with. She also checked in with us in the evening to see how he was. We appreciated her patience and expertise when dealing with a senior dog. We will be returning to her and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced, and patient groomer.
I brought my two German shepherds in for a bath. I have to be honest, they have never looked better. One of my shepherds was shedding like no tomorrow and he came out looking 5 years younger. Both dogs look like they are ready for a dog show. They really look good. They did a great job.
I was in desperate need of a groomer having just move to the area. My Lily caught her nail and it hurting her. I called and was told to bring her and they will see her. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Mary and she made Lily feel welcome. Lily freaked out and she kept talking to her and suggested muzzle and then a hammock for her safety and Lily. I was told of everything before it was done. Took no more than 20 minutes and I have happy dog at home.
They are great and doing a wonderful job. I have a Husky mix and a Bernese Mix and they're both a lot of work. Everytime they come back from the groomer they look like show dogs :) Very pleased with Bit O'Blarney and highly recommend them.

It was my pug’s first groom ever and I’m very satisfied with the choice I made to bring her to Bit O’Blarney Pet Services!! They’re conveniently located near Prunedale which is very close to me. They accommodated me when I requested a same day appointment, which they didn’t have to do. Price was great for a full groom, and they even added a scented dog spray which is optional and they let me choose the scent:) My pug is scared of blow dries, and they didn’t force her to be blow dried. I respect that they made a decision that would be in the best interest of my baby. Mary really knows what she’s doing and when it comes to dog behavior, she gave me some really good advice when I told her about my pug’s behavior issues. The payment method is cash only which isn’t an issue for me but I guess it was for another reviewer..speaking of said reviewer, part of being a good and responsible dog owner means correcting certain behavior and not forcing your scared dog to go through with a groom. If you can’t handle someone who cares enough to be honest with you then idk what to tell you. Mary, you’re an absolute boss at what you do! We’re very happy with the experience, especially my baby, who got the zoomies after her groom. Highly recommend.
We've taken our two Aussie's to Bit O'Blarney a few times now and Natalie has bathed and groomed them wonderfully. I always enjoy talking to Mary, the owner, as she is quite knowledgeable and I always learn something new about dogs after a visit with her. The dogs come home looking and smelling great! When I arrived to pickup the dogs at our last visit, Natalie asked if I was completely happy with how their trim looked and I asked her if she could take just a "little bit more" off in a few spots. She was quite happy to oblige and did a little more on each of the dogs. The dogs seem happy when we arrive here and are calm and happy when I arrive to pick them up. "5 paws" for Bit O'Blarney.
I am so glad I brought my puppy here for grooming. He really needed it after the last place I took him did a horrible job. He looks like a brand new puppy. They were able to squeeze in my other dog as well. Great service! My pups were well taken care of.
What a wonderful job on my dirty and unkempt labradoodle! It took a couple of hours but Mary knew exactly how to restore his long white silky haired ears and tail. She trimmed his facial hair and his glamorous show dog look. He loves going to see Mary, and she is always able to do him proud.

We have had the opportunity to find local pet sitters in our travels over the past several years. Freya, Happy Dog Carmel, was the absolute best dog sitter we have come across in the five years we have had our dog, Zoe. She shows a genuine interest and possesses a certain spirit or energy with animals. “Zoe” can be a little ‘clingy’ or needy and she looked forward to seeing Freya the next day of our trip. I booked a last minute trip to Pebble Beach to see my parents who were in town & didn’t know what to do with my 9 week old mini dachshund! I couldn’t leave her alone for too long just yet, so a quick google search led me to Freya’s business and her hotel sitting offerings. Freya was nothing short of perfect for Olive’s first experience with a dog sitter. Freya came to the hotel I was staying at, was super flexible on timing as we were at dinner, and tired out my girl so much she slept straight through the night for the first time since getting her. She sent photo updates & even shared tips of what she noticed Olive potentially liked or disliked in toys and activities. It was worth its weight in gold to have the peace of mind of Freya with Olive & I’ll definitely give her a call again when I’m back in the area!
We (and our dog!) had a genuinely VIP+ and completely worry-free experience with Freya and Happy Dog Carmel while visiting Monterrey for the 2023 holiday season. After traveling to the area so many times over the years, my wife and I always returned home a little disappointed that we could never visit the Monterrey aquarium since we always brought our dog with us, knowing how pet-friendly the entire region is. This time around, we had the idea to search for a local service that could board or take our Pomeranian for a day so we could finally visit the aquarium. After literally spending 4+ hours on Google searching for options in Carmel and Monterrey and checking reviews of the top ones, I was still skeptical and concerned since every single one had some recent bad reviews here and there. One that presents itself as a "luxury" option in the area didn't respond to my contact promptly, and when it did, the address provided didn't match its website; it was a house in a random area in Carmel. When I checked Happy Dog Carmel — the only option I found with consistently positive reviews — I wasn't sure if they would take our dog since their website doesn't mention such service; only dog walking, sitting-at-the-hotel, or in-home visits. However, I was happily surprised when I contacted Freya, who promptly confirmed she could take our dog for the day. And what a great day! As part of Freya's services, she picked up and dropped off our dog at our hotel. We had the guarantee our dog would have full attention since she takes one dog at a time, avoiding him being in touch with unknown/unruly/unvaccinated dogs. She also sent several pictures of him throughout the day, which I attached to this review (she is also a great photographer, as you can see!), and took him on a nice trail walk to put his high energy to good use. Our dog spent a whole day with Freya, and my wife and I finally could visit the aquarium completely worry-free, knowing our dog was in good hands with her constant updates. Her punctuality, the fact that she truly and genuinely loves pets, and how she maintained fantastic and responsive communication throughout the process are also worth mentioning. When we return to the Carmel and Monterrey areas, we now finally have someone we can trust and count on again.
We had a great experience with Freya of Happy Dog Carmel!! It was our wedding weekend and she not only took care of our yellow lab during the party and the rehearsal but she also helped us out with the ceremony so Nala could deliver the rings!!! Thanks Freya!!!
We spent a month in Carmel and used Freya numerous times each week. Zipper loved his walks, play time and just hanging out with Freya. Happy Dog Carmel is a professional service, we valued the personal attention our dog received and we felt safe leaving our little man with Freya. She was always on time, sent pictures and kept us up to date on their activities. I would recommend Happy Dog Carmel service to friends and plan on using Freya again.
My husband and I came to Carmel for a little honeymoon trip. We brought our 4 year old Labradoodle Roscoe, but also planned some outings with just the two of us. Freya and Happy Dog Carmel were referred by our hotel and we couldn’t have been happier with her service! She was always prompt, provided transportation to and from the hotel, and even sent photos and an update of Roscoe’s playtime. We look forward to hiring her again when we return to Carmel.
Freya was wonderful with Quincy!! She gave him lots of love and took him on nice long walks. And she kept in touch by text and sent photos. She was very professional and pleasant and we will happily use her services again!
Freya is an absolute gem. Not only a great human, but a total dog whisperer. Our senior dog Presley is 18 and it's hard to leave him, but I never have hesitation if I am leaving him with Freya. Your beloved pet will be in good hands!
My wife and I visited Carmel for a long weekend with our dog Simba. We wanted to have a spa day and also a night out for dinner at a nice restaurant. We were lucky enough to have Freya referenced to us and it was an amazing service! She picked him up both days at the hotel and drop him off as well, he was very excited the second time she came which doesn’t happen a lot with Simba, so we knew he had a good time. Would highly recommend and would use her service again if we visit Carmel.
Monterey Pet Spa is absolutely wonderful! They took care of all 4 of my cats! First, I took my 3 cats in person on 01/05/24 and waited for about 2 1/2 hours since they did the bathing service (shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaning, and nail trimming). I was going to do the ear plunking services as well but the groomer said it wasn’t necessary so they took off the service! Overall, at that time, they did a fantastic job! For my last cat today at 01/09/24 (this was the only available/soonest date they have cause their groomer(s) come in specific dates/times so be sure to ask them about their availability), I had my cat picked up and dropped off with their shuttle services (also ask due to availability). They came at a timely matter (around 10:38am) and the driver was super gentle and kind with my cat during the whole process! During this time, Monterey Pet Spa was really good with replying to me whenever I was checking in on my cat. They replied in less than 5 minutes! They gave me peace of mind that my cat was taken cared of! Overall, the experience was really nice! I recommend them for sure! I’m going to bring all 4 of my cats back in the reoccurring months! I plan to do this every 3-4 months!
I was there to drop off my client's 2 cats after a cross country transport and got there early. The manager was on site, even though very specific dropoff times were listed, she took them in early. I and my client were very appreciative.
The owner is super positive and very professional. We were traveling through and had our two standard poodles in the daycare for just the day, as well as bathed and brushed out. The shot records were carefully checked before our dogs were accepted, and when we came back they were clean and happy.
Please don’t go there. They cut my dogs mail so short that she bled and our entire carpet had to shampooed. Also super unorganized as well with a ton of paperwork and requirements.
this place is great!! they always make room for our pup and he comes back happy, clean, and nice-smelling as ever. truly an amazing place to take your pet for grooming or boarding if you’re in the area! 🤍

We had a great experience using TLC. My dog stayed for a week and really enjoyed getting to be with the other dogs. Gail is great to deal with and clearly loves dogs. She even made my dog a Christmas stocking!
Gail took our dog for 2 weeks over Christmas. We were a little concerned that she's getting old and being in a pack of dogs would be stressful but from the reports and the contented doggy we got back, everything clearly went well. Gail clearly loves dogs and goes the extra mile to make them comfortable - though dressing them up in christmas sweaters might have been a tad too far ;-) Highly recommend and will absolutely use the service again.
I've known Gail for 18 years. She is super with the animals. Her vans are really nice and comfy for the pets. She helped me keep my disabled dog clean for years, and now is grooming my cat! The cat was really good. That is a testament to Gails skill.
I usually take my elderly dog to a shop, but I got tired of him being in a cage all day. A friend reccomended TLC to me and I LOVED their service AND I LOVED Buff. He was very patient with my dog, and after the grooming Charlie looked better and I could tell felt better too! We will never put Charlie in a cage again!
This place is a terrible boarding facility. I considered boarding my dog here so I called and spoke to Gail. I checked out the website and watched the video online. Gail seemed very nice on the phone and offered for me to come and visit before I committed to boarding. Fortunately, I took her up on a visit. The facility is Gail's house and looks just like the video with one big difference, it is FILTHY. When I first got there, Gail took me out to the back where the dogs are kept. We went past the pool which looked like the cover had never been taken off. There were 10 or 12 dogs all barking behind a gate. Gail got a squirt bottle full of water and started spraying them all in the face to make them stop barking. It didn't work. This was the first sign that this was not a good place to board my dog. She took me to the inside area where the dogs sleep. There were lots of wooden dog beds like in the video, except they have all been chewed apart and the pillows and blankets are gone. There was one dog chewing pieces of wood off one of the frames. Gail squirted it in the face and the dog went back to chewing off wood pieces. There were torn up pieces of bedding all over the floor and yard. The windows were disgusting and covered in a dirty film. The floor was filthy. She took me outside to the backyard area where the dogs get to run around. It was pretty small. The energy and tension was very high. It was obvious that most of those dogs had not been exercised well enough. Many were trying to dominate one another, and two got into a fight and were biting each others faces. Gail squirted them in the face and pulled one away. There was a dog running around with a lease on and Gail told me that the dog didn't listen well so she kept the leash on it to grab it in case she needed to. She said that it helped build trust with the dog if the dog got stuck. The dog would have to ask her for help. Gail seemed to forget that a dog that is choking to death can't ask for help. Gail then showed me the "kitchen" where the dog food is prepared. It was filthy. She showed me the grooming room which was also filthy. This was also where she had put the dog that had gotten into the fight but it had jumped out the window into the front area. She said it was ok because he wouldn't run away. What if that had been my dog? It is my impression that the dogs Gail cares for are mostly hers and her neighbors, friends, or few regular clients because they are the same dogs as in the video. It is my impression they are unsupervised most of the time. They have an unstable pack mentality and are not exercised enough. They are not in a safe environment and could potentially eat wood or other harmful things or escape. If you board your dog here, Gail will squirt it in the face if it barks or misbehaves instead of addressing the problem appropriately. The price she asked is the same price as at a legitimate boarding facility that offers constant supervision and safe play time. I will never board my dog here and I don't recommend anyone does.
Horrible experience! First day, our dog was there, she ended up in emergency! Who was watching the dog while the supervisor was sleeping? Location was convenient, but the dog care is questionable?!?! I feel terrible for recommending this place to anyone😢 …

I was a little worried about leaving the dogs alone while I went to some meetings, so I hired StayCare Pet Sitting to take care of them in my absence. We have used Wilf's Place Pet Services three times and each time is a great experience. The owners are contentious, clean, caring, and great at communication. We get photos every day of the dogs and updates about what they've done that day. We know our dogs will get their medication at the right time, and that they are in a safe doggie-safe home where they play with their dog buddies. We can take our vacations and work trips without worrying about our doggies and will continue to use this great business.
We organized a wedding package with the walker Maurie and we could not be happier with the service we received. Her and Dan were overly communicative about how to organize a wedding package as they had not already established one, and they were so flexible. Maurie was great about keeping our dog near the party, but never in the way. Our dog was so happy to be a part of the day and he really got along so well with Maurie. We are convinced he would have played with her all day. He seemed to be so in love with her when she picked him up and dropped him off. They truly cared about making it a special day for us, as well as keeping our dog in great spirits, and we cannot recommend them enough!!!
My husband Steve and I have been clients of Monterey Pet Care since January 2012. It is an excellent company with quality staff - reliable, trustworthy, and accommodating. Initially, we arranged for daily walks for our two labrador retrievers when I was working full-time and my husband was recovering from hip surgery. But due to our busy lives and the excellent experience we had in the beginning, we have continued with a regular daily walk for our dogs since then. We trust them, and they really ease our load! We are concerned "parents". We center our lives around the dogs, because not only are they wonderful and loving family dogs, they are active, energetic dogs who need a lot of exercise. And because we have had dogs of all ages since January 2012 - young adult dogs, elderly dogs, and puppies - one dog with knee problems, and even one who had chemotherapy, we can attest that the walkers are good with all ages and conditions. We feel fortunate to have found Monterey Pet Care with its very dependable, friendly, and professional walkers. They arrive on time and treat our dogs and everyone they meet with respect. If owners have preferences, they will do their best to follow them - for us, this means they lock the doors when they leave even if we are home.
amazing place, i boarded my dog for the first time for the weekend that & she was so happy. they sent me pictures & videos & kept me updated the whole weekend. definitely made leaving her for the first time so much easier
We went to the US Open this week and had the delightful opportunity to take our two Cavalier’s (18 weeks old) to WaggsN’Naggs. The boys had so much fun. I highly recommend this business the staff and owners are incredible, friendly and very good with pets. Thank you so much for giving us peace of mind while enjoying the golf tournament.
Jan is awesome!! I've been taking my pets to her for years. She's so awesome with the animals and you can tell that she really loves taking care of them. Very clean environment and the grounds are beautiful!!!
We take our little dachshund there. It is very clean and is run very professionally. There are separate areas for little dogs and big dogs. Highly recommend. !!!

I definitely recommend it...my dog was well taken care of, he had a lot of fun, he felt loved and loved by the people who took care of him. I loved that place for my puppy. Since I saw it, I knew it would be an excellent place for him to feel at home. home..from now on every time you go on vacation this place will be your second home 🥰
