Peter was easy to communicate with, reliable, and entertaining. We actually only met Peter on Skype and then we were out of the country when he arrived. Another sitter helped make the transition. Peter then helped transition yet another sitter for us as we were gone for six weeks. We communicated regularly by email and any issues were dealt with efficiently (that sounds impressive, but there weren't any). I totally trusted him to maintain the cattery. He survived a rather nasty hot spell in July with no complaints. I'd recommend him and would be happy to have him visit again.
Susan is a very kind and attentive person! We immediately felt comfortable and confident that she would take the best care of Maya and our home, and she did. You couldn't have a better person, one you can trust to care for your animals and home while you are away! We left on our vacation relax and enjoyed our time to the fullest, knowing she was with Maya. Susan sent us updates and photos of Maya, so we could know and see how she was doing. Bark at the Moon came recommended by my trainer. I needed someone to stay with Millie for 4 days over Christmas. From the first contact with Chaz, to the "meet and greet", to the actual stay with Eric it was clear that these are "dog people". With genuine enthusiasm and professionalism these guys made it possible for me to fully enjoy the holiday with my son in TX knowing that Millie was in her own home and on her regular routine with someone who really enjoyed her. Eric sent texts and photos every day which was awesome...we all got a kick out of them. My house was neat as a pin when I got home and Millie was a happy girl. Compared to other services that I spoke to the vibe was so positive and there's no hidden costs so the final total was exactly what they said and what I planned on. They were willing to be flexible if we needed it and I just felt comfortable. Highly recommend!
I’ve worked in the pet care industry for 6 years, so I know firsthand how important, yet difficult, it is to find trustworthy and caring people to take care of your animals. I found Erica and Chaz through a colleague when I was looking for a dog walker as my job got busier and it became more difficult for me to take my dog, Peaches, out in the middle of the day. They are the kindest and most caring human beings with her and have put up with her quirks so well and I would simply not trust anyone else, besides my parents, to take care of her. I adore both Chaz and Erica and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog walker, pet sitter or trainer!
I can't say enough great things about Bark at the Moon! Erica, the owner, and Taylor were amazing with our two dogs. It was the first time we left them for overnights and we were so nervous, especially because one of our pups has anxiety. However, Erica and Taylor put our minds at ease and took such wonderful care our "babies". They are professional, personable, excellent with communication, and genuinely care! I have had nothing but good experiences with staff of Bark at the Moon. They are always dependable and reliable, and have been very accommodating to changes in my schedule when they happen. Most importantly, they love my dogs as much as we do, so I know that they are receiving the absolute best care. A recent added bonus has been the “field trips” several times a week that has really helped my dog with her anxiety. I am so happy that I found Bark at the Moon to help care for my fur babies.

Bark at the Moon walked and fed Lily when I was out of town for a few days. They were incredibly kind and professional, and Lily appreciated their punctuality as well. They even gave me some tips on how to associate seeing other dogs with treat time. I couldn’t recommend anyone better.
Erica takes care of my two cats, Kodak and Leica, when I'm out traveling. I never have to worry if they're being well cared for. She'll reach out with pictures and updates of how they're doing. I don't know a single other person that I'd feel more comfortable leaving my cats with than her. Bark at the Moon is the best and I'd be lost without Erica!
I recently rescued a puppy, Sadie, who had a rough start to her life. She was an incredibly fearful puppy and I was unable to comfortably groom her, get a collar on her or share a couch with her without fear of being growled at or snapped. Unfortunately, I tried a different trainer previous to Erica who actually recommended that I return my dog. I was feeling very lost and discouraged, but didn’t want to give up on Sadie. That’s when I found Erica and everything changed. Erica listened to my concerns and taught me positive reinforcement training techniques, which really helped to earn Sadie’s trust and reduce her fears. Sadie has blossomed into an incredibly happy, energetic puppy and I feel confident in the skills that Erica has taught me to apply them to future problems that may arise. I would recommend Erica from Bark at the Moon to anyone considering dog training.

Erica and her husband run an amazing company, I've had her care for my babies(dogs) for awhile now and have been very happy with her services. Both dogs have taken to them super fast which to me is a great sign, they are pet-loving, spoiling and compassionate about what they do. My senior dog, Morty, is medically fragile and completely deaf. The care provided by Erica and Bark at the Moon is unparalleled. I know my dog is in competent, compassionate hands with this excellent company - they have my utmost trust. His medications and foods are dispensed perfectly and communication with Erica is always clear. She is extremely precise with care instructions and I feel confident that everything is handled down to the tiniest detail. His deafness means he startles easily and cannot use verbal commands, but Bark at the Moon is so gentle and patient that he is always at ease with them. He had an unexpected surgery recently and the care provided by Erica while he was recovering was nothing short of exceptional. She made sure he was comfortable as possible and took him on short little walk in his cone. They have my profound gratitude for helping our most beloved family member when he needed it most. If you are looking for pet care, you've found it. Bark at the Moon is the best there is.
The absolute best place to have your pup for daytime camp or boarding. It is immediately obvious they love each and every dog. I wouldn’t recommend another facility or staff, this is where to bring your pups. And I get some cute pics while I’m gone as well!
Our pups had a nice experience at Camp Bow Wow! Although, boarding dogs is never cheap, they are much more accommodating Camp Bow Wow than other establishments and give their over night staying dogs free access to their doggie daycare, unlike other places, in the area, who charge the full fee for doggie daycare, if you don't want your dog locked up in their kennel the whole time. Also, noticed they had older workers here who paid more attention to the dogs then at another place, where saw the workers on video, while checking on our dogs, looking disinterested and paying more attention to their phone screens than the dogs and the dogs were visibly bored. Not so at Camp Bow Wow! The folks there do a better job at engaging the dogs and keeping them happy! 😊
My Luna bear has been going to camp Bow Wow for 4 yrs now and it's her second home. The staff at camp Bow Wow has always made Luna and myself feel comfortable. She loves going to daycare and boarding. They are the own facility I trust with caring, loving and taking care of my Luna bear. They always go above and beyond and make it appoint to check in with me. Now having a new furry addition Oreo, who is a senior dog the staff takes extra care of him and gives him alot of love.
Eatontown Camp Bow Wow always takes great care of our Girl CC! We know she is in caring hands and we love getting daily pictures, updates & of course the report card when we pick her up!
They do an excellent job of grooming my dog, so much better than the previous groomer that she was afraid of! Now she always loves going! The day and overnight camp is great too!

Our dogs LOVE CBW! We can’t even say the word CAMP, In fact we think they’ve learned to spell it! They are always super excited to go. Being able to check on them on the cameras is always fun for us.
I personally appreciate everyone there! They take such good care of Charlotte I never have to worry! The grooming services make it super convenient and the fun events each month for added fun makes it all so worth it!!! Charlotte came to me w some separation issues but when I bring her to Dogtopia she is excited and doesn’t mind leaving me behind for the day ❤️
Our whole family loves Dogtopia. She has been going for 3 years and she just turned 3, they have been amazing for us. Pepper loves school, she’s very attached to my husband and I but as soon as we get into the building, pepper runs to the workers.
My dogs love this place and I love how tired they are after. 😂 They get lots of socialization with both dogs and the incredibly friendly staff. I often take advantage of the add-ons available like brain games, treats, and one on one time for the pups. I've boarded them a few times, too. It's awesome to be able to check on them through the webcams for when you're being a worry wort on vacation. ☺️

I cannot say enough great things about Dogtopia! This is the first official daycare I’ve ever trusted with my little Frenchie. Bri and the entire staff are extremely accommodating, friendly, helpful, and trustworthy. I love that you can watch your dog on the cameras throughout the day, but know they are in good hands regardless. I also love the fact that they do boarding and grooming all in the same place and are very flexible to work around my schedule. My Frenchie loves it here and always has the best day ever🐾

Quincy has been going to Dogtopia for several months now and I cannot say more wonderful, positive things. The staff is extremely welcoming and Quincy absolutely loves them all. She is a very energetic pup and the staff works so so well with her – “Thank You Everyone” – as soon as we turn into the parking lot, Quincy immediately perks her head up and can’t wait to get inside to be with everyone, including her furry friends. I love how they do so many different activities with the dogs and incorporates events into each week. The facility is so so clean and their hours are very accommodating for everyone’s scheduling needs. We are all so happy to have Quincy at Dogtopia of Shrewsbury – highly recommended!

Lisa was an absolute lifesaver! She watched our Frenchie for a week while we were away and did a fantastic job. I have shared many a doggie playdate/ backyard with Lisa as she pet sits and walks her various little furry charges (we've met Ellie, Brody, Jolene, to name a few!) and I KNOW what capable, caring, good hands they are in when with her. Lisa is meticulous regarding maintaining the dogs' special dietary requests, watching for any concerning behaviors (scratching or licking paws, nervousness) and reporting back to their owners. She is a wealth of knowledge as far as where to go in the area for a safe, fun walk with dogs, as well as where to enjoy dog parks and dog activities in the area. Having Lisa and Tiffany take care of our dog for our first vacation away from him was the best decision we could have made! From the first phone conversation, to the “meet and greet”, to all of the home visits, Lisa was professional, responsive and reliable. Our pup can be a bit timid with others but warmed up to Lisa and Tiffany right away, they truly are amazing with dogs. We felt extremely at ease receiving photos and updates of how he was doing throughout the day and knew he was in great hands. He can get a bit rambunctious and they made sure he got his play time, and also kept the house clean and tidy, going beyond what we expected. We highly recommend Lisa’s services and would undoubtedly use her again!
Lisa and Pet Concierge By The Sea was exactly what our pup needed! As we were planning our 6-day drip to CA, we just knew we couldn't leave our pup at the local kennel. We knew he would be happier in a home setting where he'd get more love and attention and not hear endless barking! I called Lisa and we set up a "meet and greet" at her home, which went great! I could sense she has a genuine love for animals. Lisa also provided me with several references, who raved about her care of their pups. During our trip Lisa checked in every day with a photo to let us see how our boy was doing! After we returned and picked up our pup, he was happy and wasn't in "shock," like he has been after being in a big kennel. We're so happy we found Lisa! We will definitely use her services again and highly recommend!

Lisa and her team are absolutely the best! They are professional and true animal lovers. They took care of my dog daily during the day while I was at work. The Pet Concierge By The Sea LLC has watched my dog, Ellie, for the last 5 years. She has bonded with my dog and Ellie runs to her when I drop her off. I totally trust LISA to take care of my dog and my dog feels very comfortable staying at Lisa’s house while I go away on vacation. She, also, tells me any of her concerns about Ellie and I know that she is truly interested in my dog’s well being. I, also, receive daily pictures of Ellie while I am away. When I had to start returning to work after remotely working due to the pandemic, I knew it was going to be hard for Roxy, my 13 year old Maltese, to transition. I am forever grateful that I found Lisa because from our first meet and greet, I knew I could trust her with Roxy and with my home. The way Lisa interacted with Roxy I knew she would be taken care of the way I would take care of her, and Roxy warmed up to Lisa immediately. From the pictures and the updates Lisa sends throughout my day, to her being flexible around my still not set schedule and last minutes changes (including having reliable back-up if she is not available,) Lisa is the whole package and a godsend. Her compassion and care for Roxy coupled with her steadfast professionalism eliminate my anxiety when it comes to opening my home and leaving Roxy in someone else’s care. And the happiness on Roxy’s face when Lisa sends pictures of her makes me know I made the best choice for her.
We call Cindy our dog, Zuke's, Fairy Dog Mother. She has been lovingly taking care of him for the past 9 years. HIs sister, Bonnie, recently joined the DJ crew this past year and we had no doubt she'd be taken care of as a pup. Cindy and Allie at The Dawg Joint are terrific!! My boy Henry gave them a run for their money but they were so patient with him and I am so thankful for that! I am also super thankful that Cindy made time to talk with me after about what she thinks we can work on together to make it a more enjoyable experience for Henry in the future. The Dawg Joint is just awesome! Cindy and Bob care for your pets like their own, They are also conveniently located in downtown Asbury Park. They cared for my puppy in their doggie daycare program. She had such a great time - she can't wait to visit! They also provide grooming services. I have a very large cat and they were so sweet and patient grooming her. I highly recommend them :)!

Today I took my puppies to The Dawg Joint for the first time and I COULDN'T be any happier with them. I loved how they took them in with so much love and kisses even though the pups were covered in sand. I love their haircut and can't stop smelling them. I am so grateful we have found such a great place walking distance from us.
I have been going to the dawg joint for 4 years and Cindy and Bobby are amazing. They always go the extra mile for my dog Coco. They fit her in when I really need it. Look after her if I run late and always do an amazing job grooming. After a truly scary experience at Petco I was so happy to find them and they are the only place I will take my dog.
One of the best groomers in the area — if not the best. They truly will spend hours giving your dog a perfect groom. They are very busy so be sure to call many days in advance !

We love Yellow Roof Pet Care. We’re a bit biased because we know the owners, but that wouldn’t influence me to leave a positive review. They take excellent care of our dog and are always polite and professional.
Having our Newfie, Matthew, shaved down for the summer was a tall task for Yellow Roof. It took 2 sessions to get results. I can't say enough about the staff. The worked until 10 PM on the second session. The best around.
Very friendly staff. You and your pet will feel very comfortable. I am happy to find a place that will bathe her, brush her teeth, polish her nails and give her a temporary tattoo(pet safe). Prices that won't break your wallet. I highly recommend this place. UPDATE: my baby in the photos passed on 07/20/19 at 12:40am while admitted to the Garden State Vetinary Hospital. The Neptune Animal Hospital,with Rocco and Dr.Lorenzo saw my Nene on an emergency basis and I will always be greatful for the care and attention they gave on an emergency basis. We love our fur babies and when something goes really wrong, you definitely will feel better knowing that your vet (and wonderful staff,esp. Rocco) took the best care of the pet at this time.

The Groomer and Staff at Yellow Roof take great care of my 1 year old pup. He always looks and smells amazing after his visits. I prefer to use the Yellow Roof over a chain store because they are more personable and experienced, and they know my pup.
I absolutely love this place. They take such good care of My puppy Gus. He’s been there several times now with nothing but positive results. The staff is very friendly and helpful and you can usually get an appointment rather quickly. These are truly good people. I once accidentally left my wallet there filled with cash. And not only did they call me. They brought it to me fully intact! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Nothing but positive experiences!

Donna has been wonderful for our anxious dog. Tami warmed up to her so quickly - she normally takes days to weeks to be comfortable with a new person and Donna was able to get her out of the house on a walk from the very first day. Knowing that Tami is in good hands while we are at work gives us such peace of mind. We are so lucky to have found her and highly recommend her services.

I have been trusting Mike with my pup for a good 5 or so years now. I will not leave her with anyone else (not even my family!) He is responsive, sends updates, photos. An all around great guy. Now that my dog is older and not as healthy, he is the only one I would Consider taking her for the day/night and administering her medication or tending to any needs she may have in the future. You can tell he loves her as much as she loves him. Highly recommended.

Mike, was very nice and genuine. I found him on the Rover app and asked about his prices to watch my two dogs while I was away. He accommodated me and my dogs. Was in constant contact with me throughout the weekend. I definitely recommend him to anyone.
Just picked up Prudence from her 10th visit with Uncle Mike. I never have to worry when we are away. Mike sends daily pics and updates. Prudence loves staying with him and playing with his pup Archie. I would definitely recommend Mike’s Dog Motel. 🐾🐾

Purr'n Pooch treats us like family and our dog always is excited to go see her friends there. We trust the staff completely and appreciate the attentiveness and love they give to our furry friends.
Mr. Bub loves it here! He's a regular daycare customer with the occasional bath and boarding service. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I appreciate how easy drop-offs and pick-ups are, but most importantly, this place gives me the necessary peace of mind that my dog is being taken care of. Highly recommend Purr'n Pooch.
My dog recently stayed here five nights, as our go-to facility was booked. My takeaways: - the kennels are less than the quality I personally like to put my dog in - no noise-control, sound-blocking rooms so she was exposed to constant barking - I did ask for her to be social and play as much as possible. How I knew this didn't happen: when she comes home from doggie daycare (K9 Resorts) she is exhausted. I know she got to run around lots. Coming home after a few days.. she's pooped for days! This was not the case when I picked her up from Purr'n Pooch - Not sure they actually fed her the food I brought. I gave lots of extra food, but was handed back an empty canister. Felt like it was dumped somewhere. Tip: Don't forget your leash & harness, as they won't hold for you.
My dogs love purr n pooch. When we vacation we know they will be well taken care of and get lots of exercise while playing with other pups during doggy day care.
Our pup Willie Nelson goes there for daycare & has also been boarded there. He comes home dead on his feet each time because he has so much fun playing all day long. We like to call it a purr n pooch hangover. I would recommend them to any & everyone.
Our Bella stayed here for 4 nights. We called everyday for updates and they were happy to provide it. We also received pictures via text. They allowed us to bring Bella's blanket and her favorite frog toy from home for comfort. The rates are fair and the staff is amazing. Thank you for taking good care of our dog while we were away.
We left our pup here, we even paid for the upgraded suite. When we checked her in we told them she has anxiety. She was left in her kennel alone for so long that she broke a canine tooth. They didn’t acknowledge or call us when it happened. We only found out when I checked her out and got her home. It was a 4k bill at the vet to fix the damaged tooth because the root was exposed. They made a big show like they knew they were responsible and would help cover the cost. For months I called with no updates. The last time I called they basically told me to stop bothering them. It’s a business but they don’t seem to actually care if the animals in their care are cared for.

My puppy spent for days at Purr and Pooch over Thankgiving weekend. He looked great when he came home. I also had my pup groomed their a week ago and they did such a great job. I'm very pleased with them and there prices. Good prices and good treatment is important to me.
Coco had a wonderful experience at the Grooming platform at Green Leaf in Ocean Twp. This was her first visit but it will definitely not be her last. Shannon was her groomer and was exceptional. I explained how I wanted Coco cut and she succeeded without any flaws. Although Coco is a nine year old Maltipoo that came in looking like Chewbacca, she left looking youthful and enjoying her hair bows. For my first visit, I highly recommend.
My first time boarding my pup overnight and I really was against it… BUT Greenleaf took such good care of him. They updated his report card throughout his stay and sent multiple pictures, which I loved!! So many people in my personal life texted me reassuring me that he was in great hands as their dogs love it there also and they have nothing but great things to say - they were right!
Our 7 month old puppy has been going here for weekly daycare the last 3 months and she loves It! The staff are so nice, she gets excited every time we arrive. After the day here she is exhausted from playing with all the other dogs and in turn we are so happy that she has been safely socialized and shows us when we are out on walks how nice and friendly she is with dogs which we believe to be a direct result of green leaf! We have also boarded her here over night and have no complaints!
Today was Kobe’s first grooming session at Green Leaf with Heather, and he looks the best he ever has! Kobe is our Mini Goldendoodle and he is 1 yr and 5 months now. I’ve been to several groomers over the past year and this is by far the best ever! We have finally found our groomer!
Fantastic! The staff here was amazing especially Alyssa ! They are kind and patient and answered all of my questions ! I did not feel rushed and was more than comfortable leaving my dog in their care ! The pricing is very reasonable and Chip had a blast and is exhausted from playing all day ! Prior to boarding, my 10 ½ year old female German shepherd for 10 days. We toured the facility. Being impressed with the facility, cleanliness, staff, and accommodations, we booked a King & Queen Suite for Carly. The suite is spacious and climate-controlled, with a full-view glass front without the normal cage containment used by most other boarding kennels. We were able to prepare her meals ahead of time that needed to be refrigerated, and before serving, adding water and a 45-second microwave. Special meal prep was included in the package. We received daily updates and photos of Carly showing her being her happy and energetic self. She loves people but sometimes not other aggressive dogs. It was a true comfort knowing that the staff provided one-on-one potty breaks, exercise time, and personal attention for Carly. One day, she had a slight case of diarrhea, and the staff immediately let us know. We discussed changing her dinner to rice and chicken. They kept tabs on the situation, and the diarrhea cleared up the next day. If needed, there is a veterinarian on site, which was nice to know if Carley needed any further attention. I was impressed with the staff's knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness, and highly recommend the Green Leaf Resort whenever dog boarding is needed.
Our fur babies, Charlie & Cooper, truly enjoy their playtime at Green Leaf Pet Resort! We enjoy it as well, as we have peace of mind when we go on vacation knowing they are in the best hands. And our vet is right next door in case they need anything out of the ordinary. So our pups are set! Thank you to the Green Leaf team for taking such good care of our precious babies. Green Leaf is an outstanding facility with the most caring, knowledgeable, professional staff members! Our dog Indigo participated in the 3 week day school with Paul, followed by day care twice a week in the Millstone location with Christina. Since my husband and I were attending a graduation At Monmouth University we were able to have her participate in day care in the Ocean location. Both locations are incredible!! I highly recommend. Our indie has learned so much and is gaining the experience of being around other dogs. It’s tremendous! We are so fortunate to have such a resource in our backyard!!
I have taken my Bernedoodle to play time in the Ocean location. He can't wait to go. The pet care personnel come to take him in and they are smothered in kisses. He has had a great experience there.
We recently used Green Leaf in Oakhurst when we were called out of town for a family emergency. We found them to be very professional and they took care of our dog like she was their own. We’ve boarded her before at other places and while they were ok, when we picked her up from Green Leaf, she was playful and engaged with the handler and seemed almost reluctant to come home with us! While there, she was bathed and came back looking (and smelling!) great too. Green Leaf is definitely our new spot for boarding and I would highly recommend them.
