I absolutely love Pioneer Pet Care. My family has been boarding our dogs here for 15+ years! When my husband and I dropped our pup Harley off for the first time, Jack took in to consideration all of our concerns and listened to everything I told him about Harley since it was his first time. When we picked Harley up, Tara told us how good he did! They reassured us that we had nothing to worry about and that he did great! You could tell Harley really loves Tara and Jack and they took great care of him! All of our dogs have loved going there! You can tell they are very well cared for!

They were awesome! We took our dog Bailey there for Thanksgiving so we could go out of state for a few days. They went well out of their way to get our pooch in even though we were last minute looking. The place is clean and they were very thorough in on boarding and answered all our questions and concerns. We paid extra for grooming and Bailey was clean, neat and trimmed when we picked her up! There is no other place we would rather go, and Bailey will be there again this Thanksgiving! Especially love that it is only family ran!! Would highly recommend to anyone!!!!

Words cannot describe how grateful I am for Tara and Jack. I have a very anxious 2 1/2 year old dog. They came highly recommended to me by a behavior veterinarian. I have not been able to be away from her for more than one day over the last two years and was concerned about leaving her. Tara and Jack were extremely thorough with taking on my dog with her medications and her anxiety. Their knowledge of animals and their behaviors and needs is remarkable. They were extremely reassuring to me and comforting to me knowing how concerned I was. They are extremely professional, dedicated, knowledgeable, and expert care givers for dogs of any kind. They provided the best care I ever could have imagined for my dog. I had no worries, they always answered my calls with complete updates. They are kind and compassionate and I am ever so grateful for all of their hard work and dedication and giving me peace of mind knowing that my dog was going to have the best care. I will always recommend them and will continue to have my dog stay with them.

I'm glad that I made the call and boarded my dog here during our vacation. I had another place lined up and Pioneer was going to be our "back up" place. After meeting Tara and Jack we decided these were the type of people we wanted taking care of our loved one. When you go there for the introductory tour you will meet the owners Tara and Jack. Immediately I understood Tara to be what I consider a "high performer". Someone who is very skilled, knows her skill set and knows what it takes to operate at her best. She does make her boundaries and expectations clear, and it's all within reason. I found Tara and Jack to be very friendly, accommodating, and flexible. The most important part was how my dog behaved after we picked him up. He's normally such a high energy dog with some separation anxiety when he's away from us. His anxiety shows up as more energy. So expected him to be very energetic after we picked him up. He's been so calm and content, I almost couldn't believe it. I truly believe that this is the best place we could have boarded our dog. We've already recommended Pioneer to friends and will continue to do so.

Pioneer Pet care is wonderful. We have a fear reactive dog that we rescued 5 years ago. We were very possibly his last chance since he had four prior families who were all wonderful but couldn't live with his issues. If not for Pioneers excellence with Dusty he'd never be able to have the quality of life he enjoys, nor would we! It is a safe and happy place for him to be when we have contractors or guests at the house, or when we have to travel. He is well taken care of, it's exceptionally clean and Tara and her husband are fabulous with him.

Our fearful German shepherd stayed with pioneer pet care for the week we were away. They were wonderful with him! They were able to get him out of the run for daily walks and playtime! No one would take him because of his fear but pioneer had no doubts they could handle him when I called. A very clean kennel with personal service to the needs of each dog.

We have been using Pioneer Pet Care for boarding and grooming for 30+ years because of the excellent care that our dogs have received. I highly recommend this family run business.

Just picked my dog up and had the worst run in with the woman owner. I know the owners are particular about you picking up your pet on time and I arrived promptly at 3pm. as scheduled. No one was in the office. Waited for about 5 minutes and then walked to their home and knocked on the door. Tara answered and started yelling at me about daring to knock on her door to inquire about my pet and not following her rules. I was to either call her or wait in my car for 10 minutes until someone realized we were there. Paid in cash with no receipt given. Tara was rude and disrespectful to me and my husband. I am 67 years old and have never in my life been treated this way. Will never return.

We have been using Pioneer for a few years now. I am very impressed with how they care for my pet dog Rocket . He is happy when we get on site and cant wait to go in. They provide very professional care and the kennel is clean and seems to meet my pets needs. When we pick Rocket up to come home he is happy and no stressed. I would suggest this place to anyone who cares about their pets well being .

I've been using Pioneer for 5 years. Love them! Now their daughter has taken over and she and her hubby truly know how to take care of our dog. Special care can be given, and we have a special needs dog (3 legs, fear/aggression issues) who is always happy to go there. Wouldn't take my dog anywhere else.

Sarah is reliable, flexible and so loving toward our 4 year old black lab. He is 70 pounds and very high maintenance (mouthy with a weak stomach!). Sarah has been awesome with taking care of him for weekly walks as well as overnight visits when needed. I can’t recommend Sarah enough!

Sarah of Wags and Whiskers Pet Care takes great care of my dog. She is responsible, caring and my dog, Lucy, LOVES HER. She is great about rescheduling and her rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend Wags and Whiskers for all your fur babies!

Never used a cat sitter. Had to travel out of state and needed someone quickly. I read the reviews for Wags & Whiskers and reached out. Sarah was very kind and courteous. She took great care of our cat and sent us updates and pictures whenever asked. Returned home to a happy cat! Will definitely use Sarah at Wags and Whiskers again!

Highly recommend! Sarah visited our pups 4 days each week to take them on walks. The dogs were always happy when we got back so it’s clear they like her. Sarah also is very responsive to emails and leaves a note after each visit.

Sarah took very good care of my cat while I was out of town. She sent pictures and updated me on how my furry friend was doing with videos. She also brought in mail and watered plants. Sarah is the best and I will use her whenever I go out of town. I would give her a 10 if I could.
