Bahar is kind and and friendly. It seems that she connected well to Meir, our cat, as she sent several updates and clips, was concerned when she recognised a scratch and played with him. The communication before the sit was good, and trustworthy. Meir was well looked after. The home was not left clean when she left (some spills not wiped up, furniture was damaged, coffee machine was full of coffee and not cleaned. The mail was not checked daily in accordance with my request.” In addition, we found out she had a problem with one of our doors, leaving our flat unlocked, therefore unsafe. When asked about it, she apologised for not informing me as she thought the door doesn’t close. For me, this is a sign she didnt follow/understood the explanation. I’m very happy there wasn’t a serious damage/problem as the very heavy door was hanging in an unsafe way. I hope in the future, those issues will be reported to the host. We know accidents happen and things spill and break. We would have appreciated recieving timely updates and not be confronted by the various issues we discovered. It also seems that she left in a hurry, which is accepted and, again, communicating all the issues would have been appreciated
We feel so lucky to have found Scotty and Katy to housesit for us. They were very communicative and their friendly and caring nature really shone through from the initial meeting. They went out of their way to meet us prior to the housesit and were keen to get to know the dogs' individual personalities. Whilst away we received text and photo updates of how things were going at home which really put us at ease. We returned to a spotlessly clean home and 3 very happy and content dogs. We look forward to catching up with Scotty and Katy very soon and would happily welcome them back for another housesit.
