Lyla is such a sweet and affectionate dog who loves to play and cuddle! She reminds us of a dog we used to have so we just had to do this sit. Patrick gave great care instructions and was easy to communicate with during our stay. We even found that we share some common interests and had fun conversations during our pre-sit orientation visit. The "trinity" style house is lovely and cozy and the neighborhood offers a lot of variety in its many cafes and restaurants. The place is also just a short walk to the downtown business district as well as the Schuylkill River Trail which is great for walking, running, and cycling. We definitely recommend this sit!
We had such a wonderful time caring for sweet Oggie. He is such a well trained, handsome and loving boy! Betsy was very easy to communicate with. Their vacation home was comfortable with plenty of amenities close by. Our favorite one was the beach, which is within walking distance! We’d love the opportunity to sit for them again!

Dawn has a large, clean, comfortable house in St Johns county in Jacksonville. Her neighborhood is very quiet and secluded. She had me come the night before and was kind enough to make space for me in the closet and a couple drawers. She was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Bowden is a sweet dog, with a quirky personality at times. He is pretty well behaved and actually sleeps a lot, but doesn’t mind taking a few short walks a day. He loves all people and dogs. He can be stubborn on walks and wants to go his way, otherwise he won’t walk, unless you pull him. He always wanted to walk through the neighbor’s yard to see the lake. It’s beautiful at sunset. Like many dogs, he prefers to sniff more than he does walk. A few things not mentioned in the listing, Bowden will bark loudly at you in the evening when you’re trying to relax and watch tv. I tried playing with him, but he didn’t seem interested in his toys. After a couple days of this behavior I asked Dawn and she said her husband will wrestle with him a little bit in the evening. I wasn’t up for that, so unfortunately I had to leave the room to get him to stop barking. He LOVES Spanish moss and will run for a pile when he sees it on the ground. So beware that you will be flung around like a rag doll for a few minutes, while he’s “attacking” it. There was no retractable leash, but I was able to put 2 regular leashes together. But maybe you can take him off leash in his yard (confirm with Dawn). I would also gather all the moss and throw it up in the air for him, to prevent him from dragging me. In the welcome guide it mentioned that he sometimes has a seizure (once every 6 months), but thankfully the sweet boy didn’t have one. Lastly, the chickens are so cute and fun to watch, especially Tina. Big Hen needed to be pilled once a day. Not an easy task for me, but maybe other sitters will have better luck. I apologize for the long review, but I wanted to be thorough, since these are things that would be helpful to know before applying for the sit. It was an interesting experience with a sweet dog, cute chickens and very responsive homeowner.
Staying at Janine’s home was incredibly comfortable in a safe and lovely neighborhood. Rainy is just the sweetest, happiest girl and I absolutely loved taking her for walks, playing fetch outside, and cuddling on the couch. Janine gave very thorough instructions which made me confident to take care of Rainy, her home, and garden. Would absolutely stay again.
Mabel (aka Tiny) and Panda are absolutely adorable. They are both very friendly and good natured. They were great company and a pleasure to look after. Alex was a great communicator and everything in the home was well organised, which made for a smooth sit! I felt very welcome and the house is very clean and comfortable, with all mod cons. The local area is lovely with lots of beautiful countryside to explore, right on the doorstep. Panda makes an excellent hiking companion! I would happily sit here again. :)

Rachel is the best cat sitter I have ever used. From her initial consultation to her little video updates while we are away, everything is done to the highest standard. She also offered to feed the fish while we were way (we had totally forgotten). Leia isn’t the most confident of cats (especially with strangers) but Rachel has finally won her over.
Rachel has been taken care of my cats. She is very organized and follow the agreed plan before our vacations. She is helpful and flexible with unexpected events too. She sent videos of our cats too (when she can find them :D).
Rachel has been excellent from the first time she looked after our cats, at which point we didn’t know her well but as time has gone on we’ve built a really good relationship with her which has helped us to trust that our cats are in really safe hands. She is extremely reliable and thorough and has high standards with everything she does. Her communication is excellent and she checks in about our cats’ needs daily, which is important for us to know they are OK but also because it shows how important and seriously she takes her job.
Rachel (of Pet my Pet) has been a real find for us. It is clear she adores our cat, Tilly. We love receiving the videos of the visits and it's clear, Tilly loves Rachel! Apart from that, Rachel is so conscientious in doing little things such as ensuring the house is secure, watering plants occasionally when asked, putting bins out if we are away on collection day. We would recommend Rachel highly; so happy we found her after our previous cat sitter decided to cease her business!

This is the third time Rachel has looked after our cats and I can’t say enough good things about her. She goes above and beyond to make sure my cats are looked after and happy and has really got to know their individual personalities to give them what they need attention wise. I could see from the daily videos that both cats absolutely loved Rachel. She puts an immense amount of effort and love into what she does and I feel completely safe and comfortable leaving my cats with her. My cats are pretty demanding but nothing is too much trouble, she’s just brilliant! Thank you for taking the stress away from us having to worry about our little ones whilst we were away.

Rachel looked after our Cat whilst we were away from home, a much better alternative to the Cattery where he would frequently come home obviously stressed. Having Rachel allowed our outdoor loving boy to continue his normal lifestyle and exercise routines, we had a little video each day which was always amusing. Highly recommended

I just wanted to tell everyone about my experience with animalsitting. We found them through google after looking up dog kennels in cheshire. We clicked on their link and were very surprised to see the info about their home dog boarding. We thought it sounded perfect so we arranged to go round and meet them. They were both absoultely lovely and you could tell they both love dogs. We booked ruby in with them to stay at Laura's mum and dads. We were still anxious about leaving her but Adam & Laura were kind enough to send us text updates and even some picture messages of Ruby playing so we knew she was in good hands. Ruby was happy to see us when we picked her up but she had obviously had a good time as she didnt want to come home! We are never going to use kennels again and we have already booked her in again for later in the year.x
A wonderful place run by people you really feel you can trust to look after your dog. The daycare is a great way of letting your dog socialize and get some stimulation - guaranteed to come home shattered but happy! Really useful if you work in Macclesfield as you can drop off on the way in and pick up on the way home thanks to the long opening hours, also good if you're out for a long time for social functions. Julian and the team have also been really helpful taking our dog at short notice due to the arrival of a new addition to our pack! Highly recommended.
I cannot say enough good things about the Canine Club. I needed to use the club for my GSP puppy while I worked and he is now so confident around other dogs of all sizes it's a pleasure to see. I moved out of the direct area at the beginning of the year, but after getting another GSP in the summer I am now travelling so the second puppy can benefit in the same way as the first (there's nothing similar I can find locally). It's also the only place I would feel comfortable leaving the dogs overnight if they can't stay with family. After a bad home boarding experience, I genuinely feel the dogs are happy here if they can't be with me :)

We can definitely recommend The Canine Club. They are very professional and friendly with fantastic facilities. They made our puppy feel very welcome, and put us at ease too, as we were slightly nervous as it was the first time we had left our puppy.
What a fabulous place! It took Jarvis a few visits to settle in and now he loves it! We can relax at work all day knowing he’s just having a busy time with all his mates!
My border collie goes to doggy daycare and he loves it. The staff are kind and helpful and he's a happy chap when he comes home.

Amanda looked after my mother-in-law’s cat while she was away visiting her daughter. It was a very last minute request but Amanda came to do a home visit the very next day and immediately reassured us. Sasha was taken good care of and it was good to know she was in safe hands. Amanda looked after our cat for a whole week while we were away. She came round for introductions and Cleo loved her straight away! Often stand-offish, she turned into a puddle of purrs. Amanda is brilliant with both dogs and humans! As a first time owner I was too nervous to let my pup off lead, Amanda gave me the confidence to try it and we’ve never looked back. Now Thelma has much nicer walks. She’s made a huge difference, highly recommend!

My two pet rats stayed with Jane for twelve nights and she was very accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately one of my rats had to be euthanized whilst we were away, we already knew he wasn't well. Jane had given him medication and kept me up to date the whole time, and kindly took him to the vet and I felt very comfortable with it all. I couldn't have asked for a better holiday home. Highly recommend
We have used Garden Lodge boarding on several occasions for our two guinea pigs. Jane always gives excellent service and the facilities are great for small animal boarding.
A beautiful set up and really friendly service. The garden lodge is brilliantly designed and the outdoor space is just lovely. A perfect spot for little pets! Jane and family are really kind and helpful. The added treat of home grown vegetables is a great touch, too! Highly recommended and amazing value.
We were delighted with the care and attention given by Jane and family to our daughter’s hamster during his recent stay with them. He came home looking very happy and healthy. It is a great reassurance to know that he will be so well cared for again during our next holidays.
We left our two rabbits Bobby+Dolly with Jane and her family recently for two weeks. We knew as soon as we left them that we could go on our holiday fully assured they would be well looked after, if not totally spoilt! On our return our bunnies were very happy and healthy. What a great place! Our house rabbit enjoyed his ‘holiday’ with Jane. All the animals are very well cared for, and the standard of cleanliness is very high. The outdoor runs provide opportunity for exercise. We would definitely recommend!
I booked my rabbit in for a 3 night stay at the Garden Lodge small pet boarding last week. The premises is very clean and my rabbit was looked after perfectly. The outdoor run means that your pets can enjoy the grass and sun too. Thanks again, I'll certainly be coming back the next time Dexter needs somewhere to stay!

Great place to leave small furries while you go away. The owner is friendly and approachable and takes the time to get to know your pets before you leave them. The place itself is lovely, sparkling clean hutches and lots of outside runs for them to stretch their legs. We left ours for two weeks while we were away and, to be honest, I think they were a bit disappointed when we brought them home. Absolutely recommended.
Jane has just looked after my guinea pigs for a week, and they are healthy and relaxed after their holiday at the lodge. We are booking again for our next holiday.

This is the first time I've used PetStay for my 6 year old dog Lottie and have been so impressed with the service provided by Jason. Lottie stayed with Mark and his 2 dogs and I could not of wished for a better career! Mark took amazing care of my little girl whilst we were on holiday and sent me lots of updates and photos, which really reassured me that Lottie was settled and happy. When I came to collect Lottie she was obviously very pleased to see me but equally was also sad to leave Mark as she gave him a big love before she left and I just knew she had a very happy time during her stay. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone as he is such a kind considerate career and treated Lottie just like one of his own dogs.
I cannot praise Jason at Petstay high enough. He arranged for me to meet a very lovely couple to keep my dog for Christmas. He was very meticulous and everything was in place . Unfortunately my dog got very sick and I couldn’t leave him . Jason despite he didn’t have to do it as the deposit was not refundable he returned me all the money. You don’t easily come across this kind of people and I felt the need to leave a review regarding this. Jason showed such empathy as Archie passed away and he sent me a lovely email.
Very nervous leaving Floss with someone unfamiliar as she’s a very clingy dog, who really needs “her people”. Didn’t need to be, Mark quickly made himself “Floss’s person” and sent me regular updates, with photos of exactly what I needed to see - cuddles on the sofa! Mark went above and beyond, even popping to our preferred pet shop to replenish food. Mark knew that Floss was nervous and went out of his way to make sure she wasn’t left, which even we don’t always do. I felt happy knowing Floss was being loved whilst we enjoyed our holiday.
This is the second time Jasper has stayed with Mark and he's had a great time. I think Mark was happy that my flight was delayed so he got to keep Jasper for an extra night! Excellent service, keeps me updated with photos throughout. Can thoroughly recommend.

Jan has been walking my dog for over half a year now and Rosie absolutely loves her walkies with Jan and her dog friends. I feel so at ease knowing that my dog is well looked after throughout the week and in good hands! We have also extended our family to 2 dogs and both will be joining Jan and her friends on weekly walks! Couldn’t thank Jan enough for everything she does for us.
I'm effectively housebound due to disability and it's always a drama trying to arrange to take my cat, William, to the vets. I called Jan to discuss Treacle Town Hounds Pet taxi service & she came out the same day to meet both myself & Will - it was immediately clear that she is a real animal lover who loves her job - she's kind, sensitive to the needs of the pet, reliable and the service is very reasonably priced. I felt very comfortable sending Will off with Jan & I think he behaved for her (which is a miracle!) - It's an invaluable service for me & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jan & Treacle Town Hounds.
Jan has been taking my 1 year lab puppy for walks for a few months and he is a changed pup. He no longer pulls on his lead and his recall is amazing. This is simply due to the amazing work Treacle town hounds have put into him and the guidance they have given us as a family to continue the hard work. Jan Wilson has been working with Fergal (our 3-year old German Wire Haired Pointer) for over a year now and she has been fabulous. We initially went to Jan for some discrete obedience training and in this she has been informed and extremely patient with both us and our hound. So much so that the training was complete we went back to her for her dog-walking services (two days a week). Jan is incredibly flexible and caring. She is unfailingly good-natured, has developed an excellent relationship with Ferg and is someone hopefully we will be using to walk Ferg for many years to come!
Rosie loves her walks with Jan and gets so excited to see her. We have just introduced an extra dog to our family and she is also loving their adventures. We recieve a second dog discount which is nice.

Definitely the best doggy day care in Macclesfield, especially for small and nervous or anxious dogs. They tend to take only a max of 6 or 7 dogs so that it isn't overwhelming for them, are walked twice a day, and love cuddling up on the sofa with Tracey. 💗 …

We have just left our Yorkshire Terrier for a week with Carl & Tracey and they have been amazing! Very welcoming and interested about your dogs routine and how they can keep that whilst caring for your pet. What a great 12 night holiday our little fur girl has had staying with this lovely couple and the doggie gang !l Loads of great walks - cuddles and affection in a very caring environment! I am happy to drop my dog off at Country Kennels. He is happy to go there and I have found all the staff very friendly. I like that he can go into the doggy day care on weekdays, so he gets additional interaction with other dogs and loads of exercise. The booking is very vague. It doesn't give you much detail other than your booking being accepted, but once you have done it once you know the drill. You can book to go in and look around before you drop your dog off.
My dogs seem to enjoy staying at country kennels they was groomed also, and smell gorgeous. only thing I would have liked more updates how they was doing, pictures! they did respond when asked. Thanks for looking after Lily, Milo,and Reggie. would definitely recommend
Never again!!! Our dog was booked into Country Kennels for 9 nights as his usual kennels were fully booked. On collection he had lost 1.2kg in weight and was found to be severely dehydrated…he required urgent veterinary care consisting of two days of IV fluids, blood tests and other medications. It has taken him two weeks to return to his normal self, as he was significantly unwell. We feel he wasn’t monitored closely enough with diet and fluids during his stay, and we are thankful he wasn’t in their “care” for any longer.
We recently boarded our dog Luna at Country Kennels, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! The staff took excellent care of her, ensuring she was well looked after and happy throughout her stay. The facilities were impressively clean and well-maintained, which gave us peace of mind. Luna had plenty of activities to keep her entertained, and it was clear she enjoyed her time there. On top of all this, the prices were very affordable, making it a great value for the level of care provided. Hands down the best place we have used to board our Bull Terrier. The staff are very friendly and happy to provide updates on our girl when asked. Nala absolutely loves her time at Country Kennels.
The best kennels, I've used these kennels for almost 20yrs with my first dog delilah and now chase, chase is very anxious but they always make sure he's OK, the new kennels Re amazing it's the inky place would trust with my dog

We contacted Country Kennels due to our regular Kennels not being as confident due to the distance we had to travel to get to them (we had been using them for 10yrs) we wanted somewhere more local. We first tried them for the weekend and we're very impressed, our chocolate lab is an old boy now so leaving him anywhere is always a concern, knowing this they sent us some photos helping us feels more relaxed, he had a lovely time and you could see how happy he was when we collected. So when we went away in the summer for 3 weeks we were more than happy to send him to them. They gave him the right level of exercise, which was tailored to his health needs, and ensured he had all his medication. Again when we collected him he was happy. They looked after him so well
Bob has stayed at Country Kennels for a few years now. Each time I take him he’s pleased to go. Lynn and her team are fabulous and always take great care of him. He does require a bit of extra care and they all look after him extremely well and seem to know him well. Once I picked him up and although he was very pleased to see me he wanted to go back in. That says it all!! I can highly recommend.
