We spent a superb long weekend in Bayonne looking after Miza and RuPaul. The communication with Zoe was fantastic before, during and after our stay. She shared with us super clear instructions that helped us a lot, just to stick to her furry pals' routines. Zoe welcomed us with her smiling face and we spent a lovely evening with her while we were getting to know each other. This made the handover way more easier. Miza is an old adorable doggie who is suffering from arthritis so she is not into walkings as she used to be years ago. So the walks with her were short and slow , in particular during the afternoon as it was really hot...The first day it required a little bit of encouragement as she did not want to go out.. The solution? Give her lots of cuddles and show her the treats bag! The first day she was a little bit stressed out as her mum had gone, but the following day, she was with us all the time searching for attention and cuddles. She's such a sweetheart doggie. RuPaul is definitely living his best life! Zoe's apartment is located in a residential area with direct access to a private garden which connects to another large plot. RuPaul has his gang there and he will be out and about all day, returning to sleep with you in the bed! He's such a funny cat! Zoe's apartment is comfy and located in a tranquil area, where you can drive to Bayonne centre or just take a bus. We loved Bayonne and all the surroundings of the French Basque Country. We highly recommend this sit! Huge THANK YOU Zoe! We look forward to seeing you again!
Kathy and Bill are very friendly people. They hosted us the evening before they went away, we had a very nice diner all together. They explained how the house equipments work, and what the habits of the dogs. Speaking of the dogs, Dylan and Fifi are two beautiful Welsh Springer Spaniels, real champions. They love walks in the countryside, and no doubt, they are hunters! They also enjoy to be closed to you when you stay quietly on the terrasse, always ready to be pampered! Kathy and Bill live in a very charming and comfortable house. If you like peace and quiet, this is the right place! The large grounds are very pleasant, and the surrounding landscape is very beautiful and relaxing. The dogs have accommodation in which they are secured overnight, or when the sitter is absent. We really want to thank Kathy & Bill for giving us the opportunity to enjoy our first THS experience!
My stay at Richard and Betsy’s lovely home was all I had hoped for… and more! I absolutely fell in love with Molly & Mable-sharing hugs and hiking adventures. I must have more than 40 photos! The “boys” kitties were really affectionate and easy to care for because they always had a way of letting you know what they wanted and when they wanted it ?. Steamboat is a beautiful town and this home has a bird’s eye view that is stunning. Thank you Richard and Betsy for being so kind and for sharing your home and “kids” with me! Hugs to all~
I had a wonderful time pet sitting for Monty and Blue! They are the sweetest dogs and so much fun to be with. Monty is a gentle giant and Blue is such a lover. They were the best companions and I miss them already! Kate and Jon were so kind and generous. Their home is beautiful and in a wonderful location. There are so many gorgeous walking trails to explore nearby with the pups and the house is just a 10 minute bike ride to the city centre. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much, Kate and Jon— I am so grateful for the opportunity to care for your pups and would love the chance to come back one day.
Echoing everything else said here, Luna and Kiki were easy to take care of and Gloria does an amazing job of listing out their feeding schedules and such. Their flat was outside of the city center but convenient links to the city and right against a lovely park. Sweet and easy time here!
Mark and Andrea were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Their nice home is located within a golf course community. It's in a great location for exploring beaches, wineries and many other attractions. Gator is the coolest, easy going dog and was a joy to be with. He was a great companion as we explored the area. We can't wait to hang with Gator again! I highly recommend this sit.
