We just finished a 2.5 week housesit for Lasse and Jessica. They are a wonderful couple that made us feel very welcome. We were invited to arrive a day early to walkthrough the property and daily routine. It was very helpful and enjoyable. Lasse and Jessica's home and property is very beautiful and spacious. Liza and Poobah are wonderful beings. We had a great time bonding with them initially and developing a great relationship with each of them during the sit. Liza was a little unsure of us at first, but quickly warmed up to us and became best buddies. Both Liza and Poobah have great and unique personalities. The barn cats, Boris and Dimitri, were great and easy to feed every morning and afternoon. We highly recommend to anyone that has the chance to sit for Lasse and Jessica that you jump at the opportunity!!
What an absolutely wonderful place to sit. The house in the amenities in the house were wonderful. Both dogs were so easy that I should pay Michele for the opportunity to stay with them. Whoever stays with them will have great directions, a great place to stay, and great communication with the owners. I am ready to go back again.
Joan has two lovely kitties: Jack and Syd. She left specific and detailed instructions that were easy to follow. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. I had an excellent housesitting experience!
Sitting with Ari and Pilar at Diana and Michael’s home was wonderful! Ari and Pilar had very different personalities and each one was sweet and fun to be with. Both of them are beautiful cats. Their home was so lovely and so very comfortable. It was situated high in the hills with incredible views. I loved sitting outside, on their deck, and enjoying my meals, as I gazed out and watched the stunning sun sets. Diana provided an excellent guide very well put together with everything I needed to manage her home and take care of Ari and Pilar. I highly recommend a sit in their home; you can’t go wrong.
Our experience at Robin's house was fantastic. The location is perfect, very close (10 minute walk) from dowtown Almonte and a beautiful forest where you can walk the dog. Speaking of which, Juniper and the four cats are very sociable and chatty! They will tell you when they need something ;)! They are loving and cuddly and will make your staying there cozy and warm.
A 5 star sit and a marvellous experience with the charming and well behaved Twix in a rural setting. Twix is a very well trained dog and helped us settle in quickly to her daily routine. She's full of character and a delight to look after. She loves going out in the car through forests and beaches and has great recall. There's a secure back garden and a safe farmer's field for shorter walks. The home is a large comfortable modern detached house with all the amenities and gadgets such as an enormous TV with all the digital channels, a Kenwood Chef, air fryer and Nespresso machine. Facilities are in Inverurie, a 10 minute drive away. Aberdeen is about 30 minutes drive away. A great location to visit small villages, stone circles, coastal villages and beaches, mountains, museums, and forest walks. The host made us feel very welcome and comfortable, and communications and instructions were clear throughout. We'd love to come sit again and we became very fond of Twix and were sad to say goodbye. I cannot recommend this service enough! The staff are always so helpful and have been so patient with Brucie and his separation anxiety. Brucie loves going on his walks, I love the reports we get after the walk to see how he has got on.... although today there was traffic issues when I receive these pictures I can truly see how much the staff love the doggies and really enjoy their jobs! Mabel has been going out for weekly walks for over a year now. She loves getting together with other dogs and gets so excited when the van pulls onto our driveway. I highly recommend heathers pet care services and always mention them to other dog owners.
Just finished Heathers pet services puppy classes as Rosemary Lodge. We really enjoyed the sessions and my pup and I will both benefit from what we have learnt. Sophie N was fantastic. She is really engaging, knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions separate from the lesson content. I wasn’t looking forward to being out on a cold Wednesday evening but am now sad it’s finished. Would def recommend. Will be looking to book some of Heather’s other pet services.
We did not have the best experience with Heather’s Pet Services. We genuinely appreciated how understanding and hard working the staff were, however the customer service really let us and our two cats down. I understand this is a predominantly dog-centred service, but we were assured they could look after Persian cats and their additional specific needs. We were extremely anxious about leaving our cats alone, to the point that it’s prevented us from taking trips since before the pandemic. It took a few visits for them to get used to these and I took particular care to update our information in their online portal. After each visit we could tell the staff really took on our feedback, which was amazing. However, on arriving home after the last two visits, we found one or both cats had become unwell and left unpleasant smells and messes to attend to, definitely not a nice environment to come home to after being away. After letting customer service know about this, the response was very unsympathetic and unprofessional. We were blamed for their errors and told we were at fault for making a staff member ill with the feedback we gave previously. I have never come across a business take so little responsibility for the quality of their services (at frankly extortionate prices) or the wellbeing of their staff, and I was particularly shocked by the lack of interest in the wellbeing of our cats after the final visit. Unfortunately, we would not feel safe leaving our cats under their supervision again.
About 5 years ago our cockapoo Barney began to get very agitated whilst being groomed. This got steadily worse to the point that the groomer said they would not be able to groom him without him being sedated…. We did this reluctantly, as we hated the effect the drugs had on him. I was chatting it through with the vet as this had been going on for a couple of years and I felt that it could not be good to do this as Barney was nearing 9. A number of people mentioned that Heather’s pets had a lady who was a trained dog behaviourist and wonderfully patient grooming team. I felt it was worth a go although did wonder if the saying ‘ you cannot teach an old dog new tricks’ would be validated! Sophie a trained dog behaviourist and Chloe the chief groomer have worked wonders- between them they have taken time with Barney to ensure he is comfortable with them and in their grooming room. They have cared for him and eased him in gradually to being able to be first washed and cleaned with them and now groomed without any sedation at all! It is such a relief and I am so grateful- they always reassured me too that I was not being a paranoid dog owner and that it would be worth taking this time- and it certainly has been. We are all so thankful they are fantastic!
My dog has been having regular weekly walks with the staff at heathers pet care services. Mabel loves being collected and going out with a group of dogs. The staff are dedicated animal lovers and take great care of your pets. Mabel has a brilliant bond with whichever walker she has and get super excited when she sees them walk up our path. Heather’s Pet Care Services is fantastic! I attended the puppy training classes & found them to be really informative, interactive & supportive. Sophie led the classes & found her to be really professional, helpful & so knowledgeable! I also take my dog along to their pet groomer Chloe, who has been amazing with her & always do a fantastic groom. My dog was not keen with being groomed, however in Chloe’s care, we haven’t looked back! I thoroughly recommend you use Heather’s Pet care Services for all your pet needs!
We have only positive things to say about both Sophie and Heathers Pet Care Services. We arranged some 121 sessions with Sophie for our little Cockapoo recently - and Sophie was so friendly, knowledgeable and Sophie made every session exciting. Our Cockapoo was so entertained, and we've taken all the training notes, games and general advice moving forwards and we can't wait to use the services again. Thanks again :)
We have used Heathers for a number of years now for group walking, grooming, puppy training and 121 dog training. They are all excellent and the online booking system is very helpful. Would highly recommend to any dog owners in Bath area.
Saw Emma as was having trouble with my sprocker Rosie pulling and barking at other dogs occasionally when on lead. I felt my anxiety was making her worse. Ema was fantastic and identified straight away, a solution. Emma was reassuring and encouraging. She is fantastic at what she does and I would highly recommend. I am not more confident and can walk Rosie on the lead with no pulling, at heel. I am also more relaxed so she doesn’t pick up on my tension and then react. Thank you so so much.
Emma visited us for a one to one session with our 4 month old pup very recently. Emma was fantastic with both us and our puppy and assisted us with some great foundation training to build upon. Emma has been helping us train our unruly teenage Chihuahua. She is absolutely great with small dogs and very experienced with chi's . Great improvement after one session of directed training with her insights proving invaluable. Her observations helped greatly to train us to train our pup. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She has since helped us introduce another puppy to our spicy Chi.
Wonderful dog and rabbit sitter. For the 2nd year running, our dog had several amazing weeks with Emma. I never worry about him at all and he loves socialising and all his walks. Our rabbits were very well looked after as well. Thanks again Emma. Highly recommend
We had Emma visit the house to do a 121 session with our 8 week old cocker pup, Estrella. The info and advice she has given us has been so useful and has really helped Estrella settle in. Emma was very knowledgeable and patient, and we would highly recommend her. So much so that we have booked Estrella on to her 6 week puppy classes.
Review and Recommendation - Puppy Training Emma has been our cat sitter for more years than I can remember. She always gives amazing service, our three cats love her, especially our grumpy old outdoor boy. So there was no hesitation when we finally took the plunge and got a golden retriever puppy. Emma was one of the first people I told as I knew I wanted her expert help to train Charlie to be a very good dog. She was more than happy to help us in any way so we booked in some one to one sessions. Our first lesson was all about Charlie and our grandson (age 4). The puppy tended to jump at my grandson and he was quite nervous about it. Emma explained to my grandson what to do and within two minutes he had the pup sitting at his feet on command waiting for a treat! It was amazing to see, and my grandson's confidence is growing every time they are together. That first hurdle over we then concentrated on more commands, pup has now learned near Recall, Sit, Down, Paw, and best of all Wait. We are working hard on Drop. It's amazing how much the one to one sessions have helped all of us, and it's only been three sessions! Emma's calm way of teaching is great, and she is always very patient with us (sometimes it takes longer for the humans to get it than the dog - he's a smart cookie!) We're looking forward to starting puppy school and socialisation next week! Thanks again, Emma, you have been amazing!
I have previously given Emma a 5 star rating and I will be doing the same today. Emma has continued to walk and board our dog. She is friendly, reliable, great value and our dog adores her! Emma treats all the animals like they are her own.We have had to change around some days a couple of times and Emma has been very accommodating. I would highly recommend Emma to anyone.
We have left our dog with Emma at ES Petcare for holidays for a couple of years now. Emma is lovely and provides an excellent service. She responds quickly to enquires, has really helped us out at short notice and is always professional and timely. There is no doubt Emma really cares for the pets she looks after. My dog comes back happy and healthy and gets very excited whenever Emma comes to the door. Emma takes a detailed history of the pet's preferences, diet and exercise regime and gives detailed feedback. Emma keeps in touch posting comments and photos and which are always reassuring. I have no hesitation in recommending ES Pet Care.
I would highly recommend ES Pet care for boarding dogs. Emma has looked after our two Cockapoo’s during our holidays over the past seven years from when they were young pups. They are always happy to stay with her and Chester & Dylan come home in a very good condition. Emma always provides a very professional service allowing us to relax on our holidays knowing Chester & Dylan are being well looked after.
I have been taking our puppy Hudson to Emma’s 3 group training classes (beginners, intermediate & advance). Over the 18 weeks we have both learned so much and Hudson walks nicely on the lead and we have leant some coping techniques when he decides to have his tantrums! It’s been a great experience and would highly recommend Emma and her classes.
