Meg and Jake are an easy going couple and have a beautiful sweet cat called Beanie. Beanie is allowed outside and is keen to explore as long as it’s not raining. On rainy days Beanie generally retires to the bedroom or other warm indoor sanctuary’s that only she knows about. Beanie is very loving and easy to take care of. We loved to spend time with Beanie. Their house is very comfortable and has a beautiful patio overlooking the Lake Washington ship canal. We spent many mornings and evenings enjoying our coffee and the view, sometimes with spectacular sunsets. Transit is a short walk away as are all other needed local amenities. Meg and Jake are very kind. They welcomed us with dinner and great conversation. On our departure day, they also cooked us lunch with Spanish tapas before our long drive home. They really made us feel at home. We would love to go back and pet site for them again and would not hesitate to recommend Meg and Jake to future pet sitters.
I really enjoyed sitting for Sioni. She's very kind, communicative, and an all-around pleasure to talk to and spend time with. She made me feel right at home, and her home is clean, comfortable, and in a great location near restaurants, supermarkets, the promenade, and Hove train station. Tuffi is a total sweetheart. I absolutely adored her. She's quiet and well-behaved, and it was such a pleasure walking her all around beautiful Hove. Overall, it was such a great experience that I wouldn't think twice about sitting for Sioni and Tuffi again.

How lovely it was to do this sit for Ingrid! She was as warm and welcoming as could be - making us feel right at home and completely comfortable. Her communication was excellent before, during, and after the sit. The house is in a quiet neighborhood which was great for walking as well as easy access to lots of great trails a very short drive away. Walnut Creek is also a very pleasant town with great shopping and restaurants. As for the cats Daisy and Dudley, it was such a delight caring for them and getting to know them. They each have very different personalities and were great company while at the same time being low maintenance. We didn’t meet Lucy the dog this time but look forward to the opportunity to get to know and love her on a future sit as well!
Looking after Nara and Keiko was a highlight of staying at Polly, Piers, Rowan and Ria's place. They're the most precious, sweet, softest buttons. They can be jealous of each other and your attention. I kinda loved this. They love melting into laps, lots of pats and love love love to be played with. Polly is delightful and fun, with quippy comments in our chats and made staying at the house so easy. She's super responsive and helpful. Polly and Piers left the house in pristine condition when I arrived. Their home is so comfortable and a haven with lots of natural light and a beautiful backyard. They're a 5 minute walk from the Elizabeth line and it's about 45-60 minutes into the heart of London, depending on where you're going. It's so so easy to get to and from their home using public transport. I can't recommend this housesit enough. I had such a delightful time. And it was so great to meet Polly and Piers too. Thank you both for everything! Hope to see you again in the future!!
We had a quick handover with Karen and Derrick, but enough to get the gist! Buddy was a great little companion, always “with” us or “on” us LOL! The cool cats, Honey & Bob, more elusive, but still enjoyed a stroke. With the horses, chores were more detailed, but really made our sit feel a FarmStay! Whilst the chores for 5 animals, felt a little daunting, with the brief hand over, Karen left comprehensive lists which actually made things quite easy. We loved the Country feel of their location & property, with the close proximity to the charming township of Maryborough & surrounds. We joked & laughed with Karen & Derrick, being far more relaxed, upon their return☺️
