We were very fortunate to be offered this house sit and had 10 wonderful days in the Peaks. Charlotte and Phil made us very welcome and encouraged us to use their home as our own. The cat was lovely f shy and the chickens easy and fun to keep. It’s a lovely area and once stocked up you don’t really have to use your car - provided you like walking. Thoroughly recommended
We recently spent a week house sitting for Shara and Andrew at their lovely home in the hills above Seillans. We were able to spend an afternoon with Shara before they left and we were shown how to care for and feed the animals and were also shown where the dogs are walked. As back up, we also had written instructions and a list of contacts in case of emergencies. We had a great deal of fun with the dogs and enjoyed ourselves tremedously in the beautiful countryside the house is set in. Shara and Andrew are friendly people and we would happily return if they invited us.
What a wonderful stay at Stacy’s in Bellingham. We set it up many months ago but everything went off without a hitch. Stacy was wonderfully communicative and everything was as expected. Cisco was a fantastic furry friend. He loves to play catch and chase the bunnies. He would also bark only if someone or thing came around and that was comforting. Stacy’s house was beautiful and very comfortable. It’s off the beaten path and very quiet. This was the first time I did not physically meet my homeowner, but with several zoom and FaceTimes it worked out well. I would definitely sit for Stacy and her family again and also enjoy Cisco!
We had a comfortable and wonderful stay at Arabella's beautiful home. We visited Arabella in advance of the sit and was given a fully comprehensive handover which was reassuring and most helpful. Sabre & Pepper are two very well behaved & loveable labradors. It took a couple of days for us to get to know them. Both have sweet personalities and their little quirks which kept us amused. They are a delight in the car and thoroughly enjoyed days out at Savernake Forest and Greenham Common with our dog. The local area is quaint and quiet and the neighbours are friendly and helpful if you're new to the area. There's a fab little shop within a few minutes and there's plenty of interesting places to visit in Wiltshire. Thank you for having us. Jo, Paul & Yum Yum.
Beni was very sweet!
We enjoyed our sit with Murphy and Pretzel. They are very active doodles and will follow you wherever you go. Most of the time, they love to play with each other, and afterward they will snuggle with you. Just be sure to give each of them the same amount of attention, because they can show some jealousy 😅 Terry and Felipe are incredible hosts. It was so fun and interesting to get to know them. Their house was extremely clean and comfortable. Their neighborhood & nearby town is safe and walkable. Thank you so much, Terry, Felipe, Pretzel & Murphy. We hope to meet you again someday!
