The location is amazing, the host is a good person and Joey is a good dog but I would not recommend this sit unless you are prepared to clean upon arrival and understand that the dog is a special needs dog. When we arrived there was the intense smell of urine and remnants of feces on the area rugs, dog beds and throughout the home. It seemed that there was minimal effort to prepare for guests. The bed was not made, the refrigerator had spoiled food inside and the dog needed a bath. The dog is well behaved but morbidly obese and either cannot or will not take walks. He has trouble relieving himself without steeping in it and smelled accordingly. Andy also did not inform us that the dog had an open wound, which I discovered by petting it.
Katherine & Paul are a lovely, friendly and generous couple who made us feel instantly welcome and at home. They cooked us a delicious meal and we had a great evening with them before they went off the next day. Teddy is adorable and such a sweetheart! He was a bit barky the first day but after that he was great and we really enjoyed being with him. He has a gentle nature and wants to be with you. A big softy all round! He is brilliant on the lead and a pleasure to walk in the local woods close by. Rochester is a pretty, interesting town, and Canterbury cathedral and area was lovely. We had a great sit in Kent and hope to see you all again sometime!
Sweet and polite Leela was a joy and privilege to get to know. Leela loves her humans :) Thomas and Scott’s home was lovely and clean and very well-appointed. The location is one of the finest in Reno. Super safe, bike ride to midtown, half a block to wonderful Rancharrah shops. A luxurious house sit with a wonderful doggo- what more can you ask for?
Crouton is incredibly intelligent, endearing, and adorable, and the best companion you could imagine for exploring the East Village! An amazing sit with great communication!
Paige's home was clean and comfortable and ideal for remote working. It was a great place to just hang out and work. Raleigh was such a fun, energetic puppy and a great listener. Callie was a chill cat and easy to take care of. Paige also provided very detailed and helpful instructions and was super communicative and responsive! Overall, great sit and would be happy to sit again.
We had a wonderful time sitting for Chloe, who was so welcoming over message and made everything very easy. Millie was a sweet friend as soon as we arrived: so affectionate and excited for her walks, showing us the paths that she likes to take. She enjoyed playing ball in the garden too and generally hanging out: lots of hugs! Spending two days in Chloe's gorgeous home right on the beach was serene and a lot of fun: we didn't get to meet this time but would be delighted to return to sit Millie again and meet you guys in person.
