Stephanie did an exceptional job taking care of our home and pets during an extended trip abroad. She kept us informed about things, and made sure everyone was safe and well-cared for in our absence. We'd strongly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for a housesitter.
Marilyn and Leon were very easy to communicate with before and during the sit. Anytime I had questions, Marilyn was quick to respond and help me out. They did a thorough walk through of the house and left detailed instructions for me. The house and area are just beautiful. Their two cats, Louis and Lila are sweethearts. Louis took a liking to me and was a sweet cuddle buddy. The house is just outside Asheville, and very conveniently located near many great hikes. I was able to enjoy a couple of them while I was there. Had a great time and would recommend!
Claire and Eric gave us a wonderfully warm welcome to their beautiful home.Communication was excellent before, during and after the sit. Very comprehensive information pack and tour of the house which was very useful.Accommodation was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for the few weeks of our stay. The star of the show was of course Fin! She melted our hearts and although a little shy at first soon got used to us and was a joy to look after. We will really miss her. We really enjoyed exploring Calpe and the surrounding area. Thanks again Claire and Eric for the wonderful hospitality and the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home.
It was such an immense joy and pleasure to meet and sit for Andrew, Annette, and Mabel. Mabel is a sweet soul who loves humans and will steal your heart. She is the happiest of dogs who loves her walks in the park and just being near you. Her morning cuddles were just the best. Annette and Andrew were so, so very kind and generous. I was warmly welcomed — like I was family. And was treated as such throughout my time there. Their thoughtfulness is second to none. They are very organised with all the details and showed me around Mabel’s neighbourhood before they left. And they were only a message away if needed. Annette and Andrew’s home and garden is a sanctuary and is very beautiful and well cared for. They have the perfect location — so close to parks yet also to high street (with all amenities) and downtown. Thank you for this very special assignment, Mabel, Andrew, and Annette! Thank you deeply for everything… from the bottom of my heart. I miss your lively and sweet presence already, Mabel! Future sitters: Do not hesitate for a second to apply to/accept an assignment from Andrew and Annette.
Zoe was the sweetest girl to care for! She is very well trained and loves going for walks and curling up in the sun on the back deck. Nikki was an incredible host and excellent at communicating everything I needed to know for the home and for Zoe. I would gladly come back and care for Zoe and Nikki’s home!
We had a wonderful time sitting for Finnigin and Minnie! They are both very sweet, friendly, easy to care for, and just loved being near people. Madeleine & Lukas were very welcoming and easy to communicate with before and during the sit! We arrived before they left and they showed us everything we needed to know in person.
I feel so lucky to have had the experience of staying here. Elizabeth is so easy to talk with and fascinating, you’ll want to hear more about pretty much everything (I would read a memoir *hint hint*)! Sati is a sweet fluffy bear and it’s so funny that his bark sounds the way it does because it couldn’t be more opposite from his docile personality. I want to give him a delicious little edible Academy Award for his diligent guard work. He never forgets his manners and made me laugh with his spontaneous squat zoomies. He might have hypnotic abilities, I’m not sure, but I couldn’t resist scratching his belly when called upon. He always welcomed me at the door with a lick at my hand on the doorknob. He stays nearby and you won’t want to leave him! The adoration is instantaneous. The town is charmingly nestled amongst mountains with a riverwalk, the Stanley, a retro theater, a lake trail, and elk everywhere, among other wildlife. The stars are stunning. You don’t even have to enter the National park to be swept up in the splendor everywhere. I had better elk viewing from the patio than in the park! This is a very dreamy place and you will leave happier knowing Sati and Elizabeth occupy this happy corner of the world. So thankful for having been hosted!!
