What a pleasure to care for these pets. These 2 dogs are smaller then I'm used to. Milo and Bailey are very different personalities. Mr. Milo loves being wrapped up in your arms were Mr. Bailey has a mind of his own and when the time is right he will lay on you or beside you. Both of these boys love to talk and will talk back when they see you get excited for them. Sweet kitty in the guest house is very friendly and lovely also. Both Heidi and I look forward to our return request to this awesome human and furry family. Thank you Kaplan family for choosing us!! Also, a beautiful home with access to a amazing beach house. Thank you again Michelle .
Stormy and Luna are the cutest! I had the best time at this pet-sitting opportunity. Adaline's home is lovely (the comfiest guest bed), with all amenities you'd need, including parking. Her pups are very well-behaved and wonderful company to keep - you'll fall in love with them in an instant! Adaline left clear instructions on how to take care of her pups and her home, and was very communicative. I highly recommend this stay.
Dave and Martha have a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood just by the university. Maddon is a sweetie who loves to catch the Frisbee and walk to the park. We truly enjoyed sitting for her.
Megan’s apartment and Barli were the perfect duo. Great location and accommodations and Barli was super easy and loving! She loved her walks in the park and down to the beach. Would recommend!
Duke is a complete love bug and so easy to care for! He is super chill, until you bring the leash out and then he’s jumping for joy like a bunny. He loves to sniff on walks and is content to walk as long as you are. Once finished with a walk, Duke will plop on the couch for a recovery snooze. We took two 1.5 mile walks each day during my stay and he seemed great with that. Add in some toy time indoors and he was a happy pup. I also especially loved that Duke snuggled me on the couch and slept glued to my side all night long. Nothing better! Caryn is kind and made sure I had all I needed before she left for her long weekend trip. She communicated in advance and during the sit to answer any and all questions I had. The location in the South Loop was perfection. Less than a block from three different 'L' lines made getting around Chicago a breeze. I felt very safe and secure in her apartment and loved drinking my morning coffee while looking out the large windows. I worked remotely for two days during the sit and was able to set up my laptop in her home office space very easily. Super fast WiFi! *If you drive up, there's parking available in the garage within the building. It's USD30 per day (24 hour). You may want to use SpotHero to check out and reserve parking in other lots nearby for a cheaper rate. The building has a dog run area that made taking Duke out for a morning/before bed bathroom break simple and Duke knows where he's going. He led me to the spot the first time we went, what a smart boy! Definitely recommend this sit to anyone who wants to explore Chicago and get some quality snugs in. Thanks Caryn!
We had such a wonderful time caring for beijo and Samba, they were both so adorable and low maintenance. The house was so spacious and had everything one could ever need, we also enjoyed the onsite swimming pool. The shops are all within close walking distance and the wifi was great if you need that to work with or just general usage. Kali was a wonderful host and was very easy to communicate with, we would be more than happy to sit again for the family.
