Melissa & Greg graciously greeted us the evening before the sit and allowed us to stay in their guest room as there are not many hotels near by. Every aspect of the house and pet needs were explained and written out. Their home is beautiful and provides everything you can need during your stay. Roscoe and Daisy are well behaved and great cuddlers who enjoy an adventure too! We took them on short hike at the Red Rock Amphitheater. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Deb and Mark are delightful, as are their two spunky, magnificent dogs, Ziggy and Gracie. You truly feel like you are on vacation in their beautiful home. The owners have a keen eye for color and design. And their grounds are unbelievably well-maintained and welcoming. Flowers and tropical plants abound. If you ever wanted to get out for a walk, the water is a couple of blocks away. Or talk a slightly longer stroll to funky downtown Gulfport, where there are shops and restaurants galore. This is definitely a 5 Star stay!
I had a wonderful time sitting! The cats were so cute, and I miss them already. The location was great, and an awesome vegan bakery was nearby. I would love to catsit again. Thanks for being such helpful hosts!
Sitting for Melanie and Lukes four large amazing dogs was a joy. Each had their own personality and all were so well behaved, we would definitely 'sit' for them again without hesitation. Melanie left easy to follow detailed instructions regarding their feeding. The family home is very comfortable with a lovely large garden for the dogs to play and just 'veg'!, which they did most of the time due to the excessive heat wave that we experienced. I highly recommend this 'sit' for anyone that is in need of a 'dog fix'! .
It was a pleasure house sitting for Tracy and Chris. Their home is like a dream sanctuary - peaceful, spacious, private and artful, and the backyard garden is magical. Tracy and Chris are kind and generous ! They accommodated my travel schedule and I arrived at their beautiful home one day earlier. Chris prepared delicious meals every day for two days ! Chris also took his personal time driving me to see the Great Pyrenees. The two cats are both independent and loving, they spent all the day time outside in the garden. Alfie is a sweet dog, he is easy going, obedient and non- demanding. He loved walking outside with me every day and he was never tired. He was also super chill and peaceful in the house. He was very appreciative to join my activities and he was never demanding of my attention or anything - he was a joyful little companion. Alan, the town is quiet and an easy drive to other adjacent towns. There are many lovely walks around the area and the Pyrenees can be seen along the way. There is a good bakery shop in Alan making traditional artisan bread in a wood fired oven. Farmers market in Alan and in other nearby towns are amazing, one can find very good quality wine, cheese , honey and other fresh farm produce. Such a fantastic sit with gorgeous well behaved pets. Gill was lovely to chat with and gave us a great tour and informative house/pet guide. We took a cup of tea and a carrot down every afternoon to keep the paddock animals company - the goats are so amusing. Brompton and Bertie really enjoyed their walks, of which there were many. The house is surrounded by amazing fields and forests to enjoy for miles. It was a bit soggy but the flora and fauna were springing up giving us such a wonderful English countryside experience. The AGA was a delight to use and the bed so comfy we certainly caught up on our sleep. We didn't see much of the cats but adored their canine brothers company. Thankyou Gill and Francois for giving us this very special week.
