Javed and Fahima were wonderful house sitters, who clearly loved being around the cats and built great relationships with them whilst keeping me updated daily with photos and videos. I always felt secure that my house was being looked after and the cats were being given lots of love, which gave me complete peace of mind whilst I was away. Atiya is so thoughtful. She took such good care of Beso and sent me photos and notes every day. I ask that sitters strip the bedding when they leave and she even did all the bedding and towel laundry. I was so appreciative. I would open my home to her again any day.

I can’t say enough nice things about Tia and her husband. This is the second time we have hosted Tia in our home and she is beyond amazing. I trust her to make the best decisions and provide the best care for our pets and our home. She is intuitive, active, a great communicator, leaves our home better than we left it, and is friendly and engaging. We had a leopard gecko who just didn’t want to eat and Tia solved it, putting my 10 year old son at ease on our vacation. I would welcome Tia into my home anytime and feel so fortunate to have met her!

Carson sat for our two cats over a long weekend. She communicated well, followed directions, left the house clean and tidy, and our cats were happy and healthy upon our return.

Wendy is a wonderful house sitter! She is great with communication, very kind and easy going. A perfect match for our little Samantha, who has had a little anxiety from having to be re-homed after her human mom passed away. Samantha was very well taken care of and super happy when we arrived back home, she loved Wendy! I would have her sit for us again every time if I could! They were two peas in a pod, I couldn't be more happy with the care that Wendy showed us. I highly recommend Wendy to anyone who needs excellent care for their fir babies!

Kelly is great! One of the best sitters I’ve had and I’ve had some great sitters. She came the evening before I left to ensure a smooth handoff and was already familiar with the very detailed Welcome Guide I send in advance. My dog, cat, and hens were very well cared for as she followed my wishes beautifully. Additionally, my home was clean and tidy upon my return, there was even a lovely wildflower arrangement waiting for me. There were two unexpected things she had to “deal” with during the sit. 1. A hen went broody before I left and was acting a bit unwell. We discussed it during the walk through and she handled her like a champ! 2. The water filtration system for the house broke the morning I was leaving. She handled this like a champ as well by scheduling my water guy to come out to make the necessary repairs. She was onsite for his visit and reached out to me due to the expense. It all went very smoothly from my perspective. Her communication was great on all fronts. I’d have her back any time.

Kristen and Christian were great sitters while we were away for two weeks at the end of the summer. They arrived on time and were kind and self sufficient once they arrived. We were without wifi for a bit during our time away (international trip and hiking) and had complete confidence that our two kitties were well cared for in our absence. Colleen, Kevin and their three daughters are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. We were gone for about two months, the longest stretch of leaving our pups at home. We have one senior pup who we usually have to put in a room when guests come over because she barks and sometimes scares people. We have a younger pup who is super friendly with everyone. We were initially hesitant to work with anyone because not everyone warms up to our senior pup, and she does wake up at odd hours of the night to go business. As soon as Colleen, Kevin, and their daughters stepped into our home, they were gushing over our pups and giving them so much love. In fact, usually when we come home from a trip, our pups are over the moon excited to see us. This time, when we got home, our pups didn't blink an eye. That was because our pups were absolutely adored and cared for the entire time we were gone. They were even trained and walked more times than we usually do. If our pups could talk, they would probably tell us to trade families! We didn't ask for it, but we got weekly text messages with photos and updates on the pups and how the house was doing. They drove our cars a few times a week to make sure they were running. And they even were willing to pick us up from the airport when our ride fell through. We came home to a super clean home (cleaner than we left it!) and to a beautiful welcome sign! These people are GOLD. Honestly, I would fly them in from wherever they are to take care of our pups and home again. They are absolutely worth it, and more.

We were very happy with Sheri and Kevin.  They made an effort to come over before the sit to meet the cats and get an overview of the house.  They asked good questions. Short but sweet sit. Sunny is a great dog. She is well trained and just wants to be in your company. Scott’s house has everything you need for a comfortable sit. He was also very laid back and trusting of me even though my schedule was tight.

We had the best host, Corinne. She was welcoming and accommodating, even made us a delicious Italian pasta dinner and gelato because we needed to arrive a day earlier.

She was very responsive to our questions and we touched based every day, sharing each other’s adventures was fun. We had such great conversations with her.

MiMi and MiuMiu are adorable! They are our favorite cats ever! MiMi likes to stay around the house and loves to get pets. MiuMiu likes to explore the neighborhood and comes back for love and food. She wears a GPS collard at night, we had no problem getting it on and off of her, this gave us peace of mind at night.

They will both let you know when they want more love, by throwing themselves at your feet, it’s the funniest and cutest thing in the world. We had so much fun with them!

The house and the whole region are a dream! It was about a 25 minute drive to an affordable parking garage in the city of Florence, and about the same time in the other direction to the Tuscany area with beautiful grape crops and free wine tastings.

Several small towns in the area to an hour away, we went to a medieval festival. The leaning tower of Pisa is 1.5 hours away and is nearby the Mediterranean Sea.

We stayed for 2 weeks and there’s still so much to see that we missed. Make sure to do the free walking tours.

Corinne also gave us great recommendations for parking and things to do in the city, where locals go to eat and hang out. It was perfect!

The house has a beautiful view of the mountains, there’s an office desk and great wifi. We took video calls with no problem. You can hang out in the patio, while enjoying the view and petting the kitties.

We would absolutely love to come back here!

Genevieve

If you love silence and pure air and don’t mind getting your hands a little dirty, I highly recommend experiencing the pure happiness that comes with staying at Genevieve’s farm. The centenary house has been renovated with great taste and respect for the old. It is located in the middle of fields. The animals seem to be having fun, because Genevieve’s farm is also for their pleasure. My boys and I spent the first day with Genevieve to learn the routine and play farmers alone for two other days. I hope we will be able to return.

Spending these days in Nic's beautiful apartment with Toni was wonderful.
Nic is an excellent host, flexible and maintains great communication throughout the sit.
Toni is very cute, easy to care for and loving. She likes to watch Disney movies and dance on her lap. We watched several movies together as a family and had a lot of laughs dancing with her in the morning.
We recommend the sit for anyone and we really want to come back one day to see Toni again.

Gator and Kip were absolutely wonderful companions during my sit. Gator is more social but Kip is a little wary but finally warmed up to me. I enjoyed this sit very much.
