This was one of the best sits I have ever had!! First off, Jenny is a very interesting and lovely Woman. Being a local pet sitter, I was able to stop by-meet her and the 4 legged crew prior to the sit. :) Jenny is extremely detailed in going over the procedures for Peaches and Felix! 🐶😺 I fell in love with them immediately! Jenny's home is gorgeous! she has great taste- beautiful art, great light, gorgeous Piano. I wish I played, maybe its time for lessons. :) My favorite spot is the window seat looking out into the garden. Perfect place to relax, read or take a nap. I had a few cat naps with Felix... pure heaven. 😻 Peaches and Felix are the sweetest most loving pets! They are mature, so easy to care for! Peaches loves her walks, best solo walk with her Human rather than a "dog park play dog" the location is perfect.. walk out see the water go in either direction. These fur babies are super special!! I'm obsessed with Felix! I highly highly recommend this sit would do it again in a heart beat.
Taking care of Ash for Kaley was a true pleasure! While our stay was short, it was absolutely delightful. Kaley's clear instructions and perfectly prepared supplies made caring for Ash a breeze. Ash is an absolute charmer! Not only is he incredibly cute, but he's also well-behaved and independent. This made the house-sitting experience even more enjoyable.
Meriel and her husband Phil were lovely hosts and made me feel very welcome. I really liked them. Their home was absolutely amazing and I lived like a king for the time I was there. Their dog Kepa was a real joy to look after, and I absolutely loved watching her boundless enthusiasm for the walks we had around the surrounding countryside. This is a wonderful sit and I would heartily recommend it. I hope to be able to do it again myself sometime, should the opportunity arise..
Aurore was not clear about the time I had to stay until on the last day of my sit. This led to intense miscommunication when I told her I was leaving in the morning (which I advised her would happen as I had lectures) which turned the sit into an uncomfortable experience for me. Also, Chaplin peed on the bed and pooped twice on a blanket on the floor which I spent a while cleaning. I would not recommend this sit if you are not up for taking care of that happening, and also if you have not explicitly discussed the time of arrival and departure. Also, in the ad it mentions cleaning sheets - I severely underestimated the significance of this task as I was given out to a lot by Aurore when I told her I could not wait around in the morning to put the sheets from the washing machine into the dryer. So, if you need to leave early leaving the sit take that into account!
Samm and Sophie are the perfect hosts. We loved taking care of Phil, cause he is such a sweetheart! Perfect location, so well connected with public transport. Awesome for remote working while having fun with Phil! Communication was also on point which we always appreciate!
