A fabulous house sit with two gorgeous cats! Emma and her family welcomed us warmly to their comfortable and clean home and we settled in well. We were given lots of information so we had a smooth handover and could take care of the house and cats with ease. The cats are easy to take care of and lots of fun - we enjoyed playing with toys with them - watching them pounce and play! Ozzy is independent and loves exploring, Ziggy enjoys coming in and out and seeing what you are up to! We enjoyed sunny moments in the lovely garden and had a great well equipped kitchen for meals. Charlbury is a lovely town set in the countryside and has the best of both worlds - fields and open space/walks on your doorstep, proximity to Oxford and just an hour or so from London on the train. Emma's home is well situated within a few hundred metres to the supermarket, country pubs and playgrounds. This is a lovely sit for a small family - we came with our five year old daughter who enjoyed the responsibility of caring for Ozzy and Ziggy and had toys and books to enjoy as well. Great communication with Emma during our sit too. Thank you so much for the opportunity to housesit for you! x
This was a wonderful sit as Emma is such a great little character. The sweetest little pug. Henry is also an adorable and beautiful cat. We had a lot of rain on our sit but it didn’t disappoint as the house is clean and stylish and lends itself to a pleasant stay. We were happy to hunker down and write. As the house is only a few minutes from the sea we had some exhilarating walks in the wild windy Brighton air. The golf course is only a short walk away too, and we walked over to Ovingdean a couple of times which Emma loved. It’s a few minutes to get to the Marina which is a great spot for cafes and walks too. Emma really is a dream to look after. At night she slept peacefully outside the bedroom door without a noise. On waking she liked nothing more that’s a huge hello and lots of cuddles. She eats raw food, so if you are vegan you might not like handling her food. Henry takes a couple of days to get used to you, but when he does he is so affectionate and also likes lots of cuddles. He felt like a special cat somehow, quite grand! Jessica and Patrick made sure we were absolutely clear with the best instructions for our stay. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. The house is perfectly positioned at the eastern most part of Brighton, with cafes and easy bus routes near the front door. Plenty of local shops including Lidl are round the corner. It’s a great sit and you would be lucky to get it.
I had a really enjoyable week staying in Amanda's home with Molly and Archie. Both dogs are well behaved, very affectionate and easy to look after. I felt very popular as they always liked to be nearby but were never too intrusive. They loved to snuggle up and be stroked whenever I was available for that though! We had some lovely walks in the fields very nearby and I enjoyed watching them bounding around with ears flapping and tails wagging. I found Amanda's home pristinely clean and tidy and everything I could possibly need was there. I felt very happy spending much time in the conservatory and garden. There is a very convenient bus stop 3 minutes walk away with 4 buses an hour straight into the centre of Bristol so, it's easy to explore that interesting city and it's many sights. I would highly recommend this position to any house sitter. Thanks Amanda!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Annie and Eric's beautiful cottage just north of Braunton. A hugely spacious home with a wood burner that warms up the place very quickly which is ideal in the cold winter. Annie and Eric welcomed us and we went out for dinner at The Woodpecker Bar which was great. They're a really funny and lovely couple and we had a wonderful evening. We got down to Saunton Sands which provided some incredible sun sets as well as a great surf spot. Their cats; Jake, Dylan and Millie are a very sweet trio who are all such different characters with varying levels of shyness but they got used to us very quickly. Thank you both for a lovely stay and letting us look after your precious and lovely cats. Jodie & Simon
Lump is an excellent cat. The apartment is in a great location close to good food and parks. I enjoyed my stay.
This was our favorite house sit of the year, though its hard to describe why. This is a place where the whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. Nothing fancy, just an ultra comfortable home, quirky, cool animals, beautiful location, and best of all- the most easy going, friendly, low maintenance home owners we've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. We treasured our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone else.

We have brought our dog here regularly for daycare and many times for boarding over the past 3.5 years. He absolutely LOVES coming and practically leaps in the arms of a few of the girls that work there when I drop him off! I love how much time he gets to be outside playing with other dogs his size and temperament. I also love that they have an active social media page and regularly post pictures and videos.
Luke’s first time being away from home so I was a little bit nervous. I had absolutely nothing to worry about! He was so well cared for. The pictures and updates on Facebook were a treasure so I could see he was playing with the other dogs and enjoying running in the large open area. Their patience with an eight month old large husky who talks back was incredible! Highly recommend!!!
What an amazing place! Kim and her crew always take great care of or crazy boy Elmer when we have to go out of town. They also do a really good job of posting pictures and providing updates while he’s there. He absolutely loves it there and comes home worn out from playing with his friends. I highly recommend Companion K-9 for all of your pups!
I have been bringing my dogs to Companion K9 for about 10 years. I can’t say enough great things about the facility, the owner Kim and all the awesome people that care for the dogs in every way. Their love and attention to each and every dog on an individual basis is insurmountable! I know when I bring my dog Tucker here that he is safe and loved. He comes home with a big smile on his face and is exhausted from running and playing all day. I very highly recommended! ❤️
Love this place! We’ve been taking my dog here for a few months now and everyone I’ve met here is so nice, including the owner Kim. Our dog loves coming here every week for daycare and is pooped when she gets home, which is a good sign she’s having a good time! They post pictures of the dogs on Facebook which are fun to see, and they have lots of land and separate areas for the dogs to go in. My dog is medium sized but definitely more on the timid side, and they’ve done a good job of noting that and putting her with the smaller dogs. A very cute family-owned business that seems to have a lot of care for the dogs. We won’t be going anywhere else!
I was in town for a few months for work and needed a day time dog sitter every day of the week. This is usually some thing that stresses me out as I want the best care for my Pomeranian. Thankfully I found this company and they have been amazing! I can always tell my Pom comes home happy and worn out. The photos are fun to see on their Facebook page. His daily visits look like a doggy summer camp, it’s so cute. You can definitely tell each dog is getting the attention they need. If I am ever in the McKinney area again I will definitely use you guys again! Thank you thank you for doing what you do!
We are VERY thankful to have found Companion K-9 to board our dog when we can’t take her along on a trip. She always comes back in good spirits and has improved social skills! The staff is attentive, friendly, and hard working!
I would give more stars if I could. I had to relocate and needed a place to board my baby puppy for an extended stay. I say baby, he's an older chocolate lab mix. I wanted somewhere where he could have a chance to run around outside, and be well taken care of. Companion K-9 totally fit the bill - while I missed my best buddy tremendously, I took heart knowing he was enjoying himself and being taken care of in the best fashion possible. There is plenty of room for the dogs to run around outside and socialize, and the owner (Kim) regularly posts pictures of the dogs on Facebook. Kim and her staff supervise and interact with the dogs throughout the day. It's such a huge relief to know that he is happy and doing well - I would recommend Companion K-9 without reservation for anyone looking for short term stay, daycare, or longer term boarding for their dog.
This is our 3rd experience with Companion K-9, and we have always been so happy. We originally took our basset hound to Kim back in 2006 for some training, and have used them ever since. We really appreciate the love and care that our two dogs receive when they are with Companion K-9. The facilities are great (it makes us feel great knowing that they are part of a HOME environment, not just a standard run-of-the-mill kennel), and they LOVE running around outside and playing with other dogs all day. Kim and everyone else at Companion K-9 have got a great thing going, and as always, we are quite pleased. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting their dogs to receive the same love and care that they receive at home. Thanks, Companion K-9!
this is our second time boarding both our dogs with Companion. both come back to us happy and healthy. Our American bully loves getting to spend time in the large yard with other dogs while our smaller mutt looks forward to her time in the house. The owners are very good about giving up updates on how each are doing and sharing pictures. They treat the dogs like family and cannot give a better endorsement than that.
