Victoria and Hayden did a fantastic job of looking after my two aging kitties while I was away for two and a half weeks. I was particularly grateful to have such reliable sitters as one of my babies has reduced kidney function and needs extra attention and dietary supplements. Victoria and Hayden managed to give him a paste (which he hates and struggles to get away), and fiber powder (which he is also not super keen on and thus needs some coaxing) every day while I was away and never expressed any difficulties. At one point, Bailey was eating less than normal and they let me know and together we tried another approach to get him interested in his food again (which worked and they let me know how he was doing). Communication was good before, during and after the trip. I really appreciated Victoria and Hayden making the extra effort to arrive the day before my departure so that we could meet and go over the cats' routine together. It was immediately evident to me that they would take good care of my two kitties and look after the house, and that is exactly what they did! Not only did Victoria and Hayden do a good job cat and housing sitting, but they were also incredibly understanding when the hot water heater stopped working and we were unable to find a solution to the problem working together over the phone (indeed it ended up needing to be completely replaced!) Overall, a great experience for both the kitties and me and I hope they come back again in the future!

Fantastic experience at Willow Farm! A warm and lovely home in the boonies of Norfolk thats a short journey from Swaffham (great market), Norwich (cracking city) and other interesting destinations. Plus the added benefit of spending time with a variety of friendly animals! Our favourites were Scamp the smallest dog and the pigs but all the animals were a real joy to look after. Wasnt as time consuming as we anticipated either!
Our only suggestion for improvement is the the directions could have been better. The farm isnt on google maps, but two other willow farms very close by are on there. Made it really confusing at the end of an eight hour drive.
Jane and Martin were very welcoming and helpful. Shame we couldnt have spent more time with them but, after all, they were going to Oslo!
Would highly recommend to our fellow housesitters.

Hands down, an INCREDIBLE sit!

Mary was a wonderful host and so welcoming. We initially spoke on the phone and later, I got the opportunity to meet Mary and Rocky at her lovely home a couple of weeks right before she left on her cruise.

Getting to know Mary felt like meeting a lifelong friend. Clearly, Rocky is the love of her life. Her communication, both before and during the stay, was exceptional. She made everything super easy and convenient. The detailed welcome guide she shared with us included all the information we needed to care for her home and precious fur baby. She even suggested I download the WhatsApp to make it easier to send her updates with pics of Rocky while she was at sea.

Now on to the superstar who we fell hopelessly in love with. We found Rocky to be the MOST ADORABLE CAT EVER!

He is sweet, intelligent, well mannered and too cute for words. Best of all Rocky loves to climb up on your lap while purring away. And he definitely enjoys being pampered. Every day was Spa Day. Rocky adored being brushed and would roll over from side to side to make sure we didn't miss any spots. He also loved sleeping with us, watching Netflix, and playing with his favorite cat toys.

Rocky brought endless joy to our time spent at Mary's home. He had us laughing daily when he gave us that LOOK. Mary knows what we're talking about. When Rocky wants more treats, he will look up at you with those mesmerizing eyes. Melts your heart.

Mary's home is very lovely, meticulously clean and super comfortable. We spent hours sitting out on the lanai enjoying our morning coffee and reading the Villages Daily Sun while Rocky was sunbathing. The neighborhood is definitely quiet, safe and pet friendly.

If you haven't visited the Villages yet, it's basically Disneyland for adults. What a beautiful place. The Villages offers endless opportunities for fun including golf, swimming, tennis, pickleball, archery, volleyball, fitness gyms, shopping, dining, theaters, nightly entertainment, and so much more. We really enjoyed breakfast at the new Reveille Cafe, lunch at the Fenney Grille and listening to live music at Edna's on the Green and the Brownwood Paddock Square.

Honestly, this was the best cat sit we've experienced to date. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to sit for Rocky, by all means take it. This will no doubt be one of your favorites. Thank you Mary for inviting us. We feel truly blessed.

Kim and Scott have a beautiful contemporary mountainside home with killer views of Asheville and the mountains beyond. They're really lovely and interesting people, and they made us feel right at home. We had a very comfortable stay, and would love to come back for a longer visit.

All that said, the real star of the show was Seamus the Jack Russell. We have a sense of perspective as we raised two Jacks from pups until we buried them as old codgers, and although we tried our best to teach them to "be good" in public places, we generally referred to them as "terriorists". Just couldn't get them to settle down.

Seamus is one chill dude. After his folks left for their trip, he moped around the house, accepting treats with absolutely no enthusiasm. Finally in despair, we asked him if he would like to take a ride in the mighty Honda to The Wedge, where great craft beer and a tasty pizza truck awaited. Like our own Jacks, he was delighted with the ride, and after sniffing everything at The Wedge he was content to kick back under our table. The three of us had a great evening together and the next day when we took him for his morning constitutional he was a lot more interested in another ride in the car. To anywhere!

Seamus is a rare Jack Russell indeed, obviously because his parents raised him right (our faces burn in shame at our own past failures), but also because he has so much personality, and he wasn't a lot of work, unlike Dave the coonhound who we also really enjoyed, but daggum Dave nearly wore us out.

We'd drive a long day to spend some more quality time with Seamus. Hopefully his folks will need a sitter when it works for our schedule. Seamus gave us joy.
