I could not have asked for a more wonderful first house sit with THS. Ava and John were easy to communicate with and welcomed me warmly to their beautiful home. They provided clear easy to follow instructions on taking care of their house and animals. The house and gorgeous property that surrounds it was a perfect retreat. Their animals provided great company and only added to the fun and relaxing experience. I especially enjoyed going on hikes with their sweet dogs. They were troopers who could go for hours and knew every trail in the area. If you want to spend time with some adorable animals in a breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful setting, look no further. I certainly hope to return. Thanks again, Ava and John, for sharing your home with me.
Pernille and Nick were lovely and relaxed to deal with. We were very happy to take care of their spacious home and garden and of course, loved playing with and walking Pepper and Jarvis. The dogs were easy to care for and enjoyed jumping into our bed for cuddles in the morning. The home was in a great location within walking distance from Balham tube and overground, as well as lots of cafes and restaurants. We would definitely house sit again.
I'm writing this two weeks after the sit and I'm still missing Dennis the dog's happy face! He's a lovely, sweet-natured and obedient little guy who just loves attention and playing. The house is moments away from beautiful walks through fields and farmland, and Victoria left me maps of some of Dennis's favourite walks to get me started. The homeowners are a lovely family, very relaxed but also responsive to messages whenever needed. If you have the opportunity to meet Dennis and sit for these folk, you should take it!
Amazing house sit, apartment had a comfy vibe, the little ones were very cute and very easy to handle. Tanya communicated very well and left a very detailed instruction booklet which was easy to read and follow.
I had a great time sitting for Carlyn and Clinton and spending time with Jenny and Lily. Everything was very clear from the start and although unfortunately we didn’t get to meet in person they had left very detailed instructions on everything in their home and I felt very informed. They worked hard to make me feel extra welcome in their home which was lovely. Enschede is very charming and there are nice cafes, restaurants and markets. Lily and Jenny are very sweet and a great mix of independent but social; happy to sleep, chase each other around and potter around after me in the apartment. They are very low key and easy to care for, particularly as their care is automated. I really enjoyed their company. The apartment is comfortable, central and has a nice view over the square. It had everything I needed and was very pleasant. Carlyn and Clinton were great to deal with and I highly recommend sitting for them in Enschede.
Looking after Poppy was great! She is such a cute, funny dog with the best personality. She is easy to care for and loves a run around in nature. Lefki and Dave were super welcoming, friendly and gave useful instructions for the wit. The spot is handy for shops and the bus stops :) We will miss Poppy heaps!
