What more can a mommy want but to see her doggie run around in excitement when Dee comes to visit! Dee has been part of our family since our cockapoo, Brody, was a pup. He’s 5 now. Being a first time dog owner, Dee guided me on how to best take care of Brody -above and beyond my expectations. We have not used anyone else. And, whenever we go out of town, we have her watch Brody in our home which puts us at ease. I recommend Dee highly and without reservation. She is truly a caring individual, very reliable and trustworthy.

Dee has been a part of our 13 year old golden retriever's life from the day she (Bella) arrived at our home. Dee is a kind, genuine and lovely person overall. We brought our 1.5 year old Doberman here for boarding for the 1st time..safe to say she had an absolute blast!!! She is completely exhausted after her stay, we loved the updated pictures and reports cards daily. We will definitely be back for day care, events, and boarding when necessary. Highly recommend especially for people with big breed dogs, they handled it with ease. ❤️

Dan's Daycare is no joke THE BEST place for your fur babies! Me and my boyfriend have tried every sitter, every daycare, and nothing compares to Dan's! We have a European Doberman and it's been hard to find a daycare and boarding center that ACTUALLY know what they are doing! Everyone at Dan's knows what they are doing, SO reliable, and treat your dog like their own. I can't say enough amazing things! BIG BENEFIT: Daily report cards with all the cutest photos taken from the day! I mean common! They did a Hawaiian Luau and just look how adorable

Dans Pet Care is amazing! I’ve done boarding and doggie day care. My pup has a lot of energy and is crate trained so I was worried about the crate free boarding but they went through everything with me and he did great. Everyday whether it’s daycare or boarding I would get a report. The last time I boarded him they gave him a bath and he smelled amazing for a month! They are also magicians because on the luau day they got him in a Hawaiian shirt, I don’t know how but they did and he sat still for the pic. It was amazing! He loves their kiddie pools & the entire staff is so excited to see him everytime he comes. He can be a lot sometimes with his high energy and he fits right in with all the other pups. I’m so grateful for the entire team at Dans Pet Care.

After having a very bad experience at Dogtopia with my poor baby Max, I can say I found the perfect place. Max now is happy going to his half-days and little by little his super fear and nervousness is changing. 🙏Joe has provided a lot of help for Max and more than thinking about money he thinks about the well-being of my dog and we are following his recommendations so that Max enjoys his play time- half days at Dan's petcare and Soon I know that Max will be ready to spend a full day playing, Julia in front desk is very special with puppys too I love her ☺️All the staff are very friendly and loving with the puppies, I love receiving the report cards and photos of the day, ☺️ thank you everyone!

I can’t say enough good things about Dan’s!!! They have been walking and training my dog ever since she was a puppy and they’re just a total pleasure to work with! Dan’s pet care is a gem!!! My dog absolutely LOVES the day care facility, and the walkers who come to visit. This is the most nurturing, fun, safe, happy environment for our fur baby. When we drop off Gigi , or rely on Dan’s to visit, we are confident she is in good hands. We LOVE this place!!!

Dan’s team is fantastic. They’re beyond so friendly and so good to our dog, Beau. He always comes out with a big smile! I think his favorite part is the outdoor area with sprinklers : ) We were so grateful that they toured us around the facility before Beau’s first day and love the daily report cards too.

We can’t say enough good things about Dan’s. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facility is spotless, and they’ve really gone the extra mile for the dogs — pools, luaus, smoothies… the list goes on. :) We’ve been so thrilled with Dan’s but, this weekend, they went WAY above and beyond. Our dog needed medical treatment while boarding. Dan took her to our local vet, got her started with antibiotics, and even offered to take her to his house for the night, so she’d been more comfortable and he could keep an eye. We got updates from Dan and the vet, and our dog is doing great. The takeaway: this crew really, REALLY cares. Dan loves dogs and it shows. And at the end of the day, that’s who you want caring for your pets. We’re so happy to have found Dan’s. I couldn’t recommend anyone or any business more highly. Thank you, Dan and team. Since day 1, the staff at Dan’s Pet Care in Glen Cove have been nothing but welcoming & friendly. My pup was greeted with open arms & so much love. Drop off is available at 7 am which is a HUGE help with my work schedule. Late pickup is also available if needed. The process started off sending my pup to a temperament test to see where she would be best during the day. Then once passed, she was okayed to go to day care! The dogs are separated based on size. There’s also an outdoor area for when the nice days come around. Mid-day, you get a report card of how your pup is doing and you also get some pictures! Any special needs, the staff takes into consideration. The staff really seems to really care about each individual dog which makes me feel more than comfortable to send her there. Once she came home, she immediately curled up in her bed & took a nap, she was exhausted from a long day of playing! Will absolutely take advantage of all the great things Dan’s Pet Care has to offer!

I feel very comfortable leaving my dog at Dogtopia while I work. She is happy when I pick her up and looks happy when I observe her on camera. I love that she gets lots of exercise.

This was my first time at Dogtopia. I wanted my dog Nelson to go to daycare so he can socialize more, especially since we work long hours and we hate having him be alone all day. During his trial the staff was so nice and welcoming. They made sure to give me a tour around every room in the facility and explained everything and the daily doggy schedule. After his trial they even let him stay the day. I was put even more at ease because they have cameras where I can watch to make sure my dog wasn't being crazy lol. I highly recommend this facility and I'm so glad we found a place for my dog to get some energy out!

I have been bringing my dog here since he was 6 months old. He was grown and developed into a social butterfly. This place loves my dog as if he is one of their own. I highly recommend especially if you have a puppy that is giving you a lot of issues. Dogs learn from one another. The first day I picked up my dog, he was a completely different dog & for the better! I use them for boarding, spa services & daycare.

Would leave 0 stars if possible. When watching cameras, we discovered workers mistreating our dog, shoving her in a crate and darkening it because she was barking. All dogs bark, and our dog was in no way misbehaving, as we watched the whole ordeal. Additionally, this wasn’t even boarding- IT WAS A TRIAL. NEVER send your dog here. I wouldn’t even want my worst enemy to send their dog here. Additionally, all managers my family and I tried to talk to were completely unwilling to take accountability for what they had done. Total lack of responsibility and extremely poor customer service in addition to mistreating our dog. I will leave negative reviews all over the internet, because no one’s pet deserves the treatment ours received at this location. Edit: my reservation was not under my name, but someone else’s, as our dog is a family dog.

Great experience! We were a walk-in for grooming and they were able to accomodate us. They did a great job and they did not take forever to do it! Bella looks gorgeous! (the photo is from today, the grooming was a few days ago so she now needs brushing but she looks great!)

The receptionist was very nice and answer all of our, many many, questions. The staff that took care of our puppies was able to win Penny over, she was suspicious at the beginning, and did not want to go in. This was her first experience. On the other side Loki was even too excited, but they were able to handle him just fine. It was fun to check what they were doing with the cameras and having a parking lot so spacious made it easy to let the dogs in and out of the car.

Our puppy has been going to Dogtopia since he was 4 months and LOVES playing with the other dogs. Clean, attentive and accessible!

I was looking for a way to socialize my dog and help him with his anxiety around other dogs and people. The Meet and Greet was really great - they walked him around the room and helped him get comfortable with the other pups. He came home happy and loved it. Unfortunately the regular daycare service didn't hold up. Our very next visit I put him in daycare for a full day. I didn't see him on any of the webcams and by lunchtime I was worried so I called to ask if he was okay, and they just said he's feeling timid and staying underneath the table. I was very worried because I didn't see the handlers make any attempts to make him feel comfortable or socialize with the other dogs like they had on my first day. When I picked him up, he STUNK, like he smelled like a person who hadn't washed their clothes or showered in weeks, and he was absolutely filthy. His hair was sticky and dry, as if he was laying in urine all day and his paws were black with dirt. He was very sad, not at all like he was the first day. We gave him a bath right away and the water was grey from the filth on him from that one day. I couldn't believe they would send him home like that. My dog is shy, but he doesn't deserve to be neglected all day. They didn't do anything to take care of him or socialize him like they claimed. I won't be bringing my dog back here.

This place deserves zero stars. They charged my card an unapproved amount of $1,500! This place is a scam charging for doggycare and boarding. Ever dog owners knows when you pay for boarding dog care is apart of the boarding. Dogtopia categorizes them separately. I exclusively wanted boarding but was being told when I picked up my dogs that I had to pay for both doggycare and boarding. Their price is misleading and not in alignment with the industry. And to make matters worse my dogs weren’t even taking outside during their eight day stay! I know this because I was watching the camera every chance I could. Nor were they given a bath they smelled horrible when I picked them up. They took forever to find their sweaters that I dropped them off with and lost the paperwork I filled out request a spa service before pick up. Don’t bring your pet here! You are better off using Rover or a neighbor.

I recently had an extremely alarming experience with my pug puppy at dogtopia. He came home after a day of daycare and began violently vomiting. Eventually throwing up pieces of blanket. I rushed him to the vet where he continued to throw up. He had ingested shredded blanket pieces. When I called dogtopia I spoke to the manager Sara. Her response was “well he needs to be able to be in the room and not eat blanket”. She never apologized or asked how my puppy was. Thank goodness my puppy was ok, 1000 dollars later. But he could have died had this caused a blockage. Dogs eat things, this is why many of us don’t leave our pups unattended. I am very concerned that something worse could happen to another dog while in their care.

We love Dan’s Pet service as do our pets! We have 2 labradoodles and a tuxedo cat. We have used Dan’s for a couple of years now for overnights, walks, feeding, medicine dispensing, as well as rides to the groomer. The walkers and sitters always send us the cutest photos and sweet updates on how they are doing while we are gone. It gives us peace of mind that our animals are being cared for as we would care for them. They always respond and are even available last minute. Dan’s is a pleasure to work with and we are grateful for their care and services!

I first started using Dan's Pet Care when I had surgery and was unable to walk my dog. It was unexpected surgery so I had to get help quickly. They were very accommodating. They were very professional - on time, very good with him, and tired him out! Since then I have been receiving their emails about their services and gain valuable dog care tips along the way! For example, how they limit their walks when it is excruciatingly hot outside. When the time came for me to find help while I went to work, I knew where I wanted to bring my now 2 pups! They had opened their crate free boarding & day care facility! And even though I do not live close by, it is 100% worth the investment and travel time. They have multiple team members with all eyes on the dogs. The facility is set up so they have tons of room to run and play. It is super clean. They are upfront and honest about everything going on in their facility and well organized. I have also boarded my dogs overnight there. They were snuggled up on a bed! Looked like a slumber party! They pay attention to detail with every dog. One of my dogs has a lot of allergies and I don't have to worry about her getting into anything she shouldn't and don't have to worry about them giving her anything she shouldn't have either. The best part is how excited and loving everyone there is and how excited my pups are to spend time there! I get daily report cards and pictures which further adds to my peace of mind. Dan is very serious about the people who work with his dogs and it shows. Everyone who has ever interacted with my two girls has been caring, responsible, and professional. They listen to my requests and get to know my girls. I recently had Dan's while I was away for the weekend and I felt comfortable and reassured that they were in great hands. It made my trip that much more relaxing and enjoyable. Glen Cove has a real treasure here.

When traveling or away for the day, we've relied on Dan's to walk, feed, play with and visit our two dogs, a lab and a multipoo. One staff member is kinder and more professional than the next, and the dogs are treated like THEIR family members. We've done several overnights, all of which have been great. We especially love the app, which allows us to easily make appointments and receive detailed updates about the visits with our dogs. They even include photos. We never have a worry when someone from Dan's is with our dogs. And, they treat our home with respect and care. This is one of my favorite businesses of all time!

Dan's is an extremely reliable dog walking service! I have been using their services for years and have never had a problem. The notes that the walkers send summarizing their visit with my dog are always fabulously detailed and delightful, and the pictures they send of my dog on his walk are very reassuring! I dont hesitate to recommend this service to anyone!

They took excellent care of my frenchie Mac. He’s one and a half years old so he’s got a ton of learning to do but Ky went above and beyond for Mac. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone who wants their pet to be in a safe and positive environment.

Sweet Kylah cared for our dogs, Hendrix and Bailey, and our cat, Pandora, while we spent a week in California, including Thanksgiving. Kylah is fantastic! We have two very large dogs who are our “babies” so going away has always been a source of anxiety. That is until we met Kylah. She stays in our home and cares for them as though they are her own, and it’s clear from their behavior that they are very happy to be with her. She is extremely respectful and will leave your home in perfect condition, and the best part is she sends pictures and videos of them throughout the day which really eases our minds. Kylah has stayed with our dog a number of times over the past couple of years. She’s an absolute gem! I cannot say enough positive things about Kylah and her team @ Chester's Paw Care. I have searched for years for someone to watch our dog while away that I not only feel comfortable with caring for my fur-baby, but also staying at my home. Kylah is very caring and keeps in constant communication with pictures/updates everyday. My dog is older now and has some health issues, but I feel secure with Kylah watching him as her background includes working at a veterinary clinic. As a side note, when I return home my house is spotless!

I read the reviews of Uncle Shawns and I decided to book an appointment for my puppy's first time grooming experience. I booked it a few days ago for this morning. I showed up there on time this morning but Uncle Shawn was nowhere to be found and didn't call me back. I called a few times. Twenty minutes later he did call me back but I had already left by then. He told me that he would meet me in front of the house and I can give him the dog. I told him that I'm not going to just drop off the dog in front of the house, for all I know "Uncle Shawn" could be some random guy. So I never did get to Uncle Shawn's grooming service. He might be very good. Most of his reviews are good but the two that I read that aren't, are very, very bad; but it's clear that he doesn't prioritize this business. Maybe he needs to understand that a business requires responsibilities and he needs to be more on the same page with his clients. If I'm paying him $100 he needs to be much more present and at least have some idea when my appointment is.

As a result of my experience with zen animals, I was referred to Uncle Shawn‘s Petcare by my veterinarian technician, daughter! Nowadays it’s nice to feel comfortable with whom you entrust with the care of your pets. Although I had to travel from Brooklyn to the Bronx, it was worth the trip! The two pups, Prince and Sugar were well groomed and they didn’t appeared to be traumatized from being there! Happy to be picked up as one would expect but well cared for by Shawn! So you see it truly makes a difference when people who provide a service do so with their utmost care and respect of persons and PETS too! I will be travel the distance again to Uncle Shawn’s place when the time comes for them to get groomed in the future if I don’t take them to Atlanta to my nephew’s shop to get groomed before I myself attempt to, do-it-myself!!!!!!! My wife and I struggled to find a groomer for our dog today. After a long search on Google, we found Uncle Shawn's Petcare. Shawn did an excellent job with the grooming, exactly as we had instructed. It took only about an hour, whereas other salons usually take at least two hours. We were impressed with how Shawn handled our dog. In other salons, our dog would come out very tired (we suspected they sedate our dog), but with Shawn, our dog was just as active as before. Shawn offers the best value for money, charging less than commercial salons while delivering high-quality service. Shawn knows how to handle dogs well. Shawn has a grooming van and can come to your place.

Shawn was very gentle and kind with my sick dog. My pup never cried or pulled away. These are before and after pics. The cut was even, and natural, the way I wanted it. I would highly recommend him.

This is my Chihuahua OB that Uncle Shawn's Petcare Shawn and Crystal the owners gross negligence killed on June 26th 2024 Come to find out that they don't have a business license and insurance for some time As of this date now 6/16/24 This company still has been negligent by dealing with my woes. Took my yorkie "chase" to Shawn showed him a picture of the cut I wanted on him. Left and came back and the cut was exactly what I wanted. Shawn was very personable and gave chase an amazing cut. I highly recommend him for the cut you want for your dog.

I made an appointment for 4:15 today and when I arrived at the location they had a sign that said “Don’t ring bell, call Shawn’s cell”. I called about 5 times and did not get anyone. It’s been a good 20 mins and I was standing outside waiting for someone to come around and meet me to groom my dog. I even sent a text saying i was here and that I’m calling and not getting anyone. Very weird to have an appointment and not have anyone answer or show up. Definitely a fake business or a scam. Please avoid these people.

Uncle Shawn's Petcare is amazing, genuine, comfortable, tender and of course professional. We apologize for the delay in this review so busy lately. Our boy Rottweiler mix 1yr 3mos was so pleased in April 2022, (after he realized he wasn't going into the wash place of doggie horror 😆)when he had a different experience for being in a grooming place with a kennel. It was no distractions and calm energy given. We truly have found a real groomer who is compassionate in his profession. Appreciate your time, work, travel and care Uncle Shawn 🐾💌✨pet are for us‼️

Pedro is an excellent dog walker. I have recommended him many times to neighbors and friends without hesitation. He is very attentive, reliable, and caring. I have a senior dog that Pedro has been taking care of (because a great dog walker does more than just walk your dog) for the last four years. He is incredibly patient and loving as she begins to slow down in her golden years. I’m grateful everday I leave the apartment knowing Pedro will be there to exercise and spend time with my beloved dog.

I couldn't be happier with Pedro and Hot Paws Pet Care. My pup can be a bit of a handful so I was a bit nervous about finding a walker for her, but I knew from the moment I met Pedro that she would be in good hands! Pedro is *obviously* a dog-lover and has a lot of patience. He is also extremely communicative and reliable; he has NEVER not shown up for a walk and has never canceled on us. It is SUCH a relief not having to worry about my dog while I'm at work! I also always receive text updates about the walk, which is great. All I know is that my dog absolutely adores Pedro. BOTTOM LINE: You can't go wrong with Hot Paws Pet Care. P.S. While Pedro is our every day walker, I have met two other walkers with Hot Paws Pet Care and both were great, too! It was important to me that my dog could expect the same walker every single day, which Pedro accommodated, but for two days during which Pedro was out of town we had sub walkers. Pedro was gracious enough to give plenty of notice about his trip AND set up a time for me and my dog to meet the sub walkers beforehand to make sure everything would be good. We had Pedro dog-sit our 2 dogs at our wedding recently at Wave Hill in the Bronx. He was TREMENDOUS! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter. He was amazing to work with and such a great guy. He took phenomenal care of our dogs (1 big dog and 1 little dog). The dogs were honestly upset to be leaving his care at the end of the night. Pedro was a class act. He dressed incredibly well and was such a pleasure to work with. We were so happy we found him!

Pedro has been taking care of our Jack Russell since 2013 and she absolutely loves him. Since Pedro has been with us, we've noticed a reduction in our dog's anxiety around other dogs (and even people), and he and Vincent have always demonstrated a genuine care for her well-being. Pedro is a total professional and a pleasure to work with. He took care of our cats while we were away for the holidays. Pedro and Vincent have been walking my large, lazy dog for nearly 2 years. He is professional, flexible and easy to work with. He is always cheerful and pleasant and really cares about our dog. Our dog can be quite resistant to getting off the couch to walk during the day - especially in the summer or if it's raining - and Hot Paws can always get him happily out the door. They are awesome and a real asset to the neighborhood!

I hired Pedro to take care of my GSD while I was working out of state. Pedro did an excellent job taking care of my pride and joy. He promptly gave me updates every time he completed a walk and kept me up to date on his mood. I even got to FaceTime with my dog which I think help put both our minds at ease. I absolutely love Thumping Tails! Mike and all of the walkers are incredible with my 2 year old Bernese, Teddy! As a first time dog mom, I was so nervous to let anyone walk her. After meeting Mike, I felt a lot better! Ever since, I’ve been using thumping tails any time I need a walk. They are so accommodating, the walkers are all so sweet and I truly feel like they love my dog! They also always send the best pictures of her, update me on how the walk went, show how far they walked, and tell me when she gets a treat & fresh water!! ♥️ there was one time in particular where Teddy had a tiny drop of blood on her paw. They called me immediately. When I got home later it turned out to just be from her first heat that had just started. But knowing all of the walkers care so much and contact when necessary is the best feeling in the world! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!!!

I have two cats who are very shy around strangers. One big exception, they love the people from Thumping Tails. They get petted, fed, litter scooped, talked to and get their pictures taken. It makes me feel good to get the photos to see they are doing well but just a wee bit jealous at how much my cats seem to love them! When i get home, i get the “oh it’s you, you’re back” look. I am beyond satisfied with the level of service we get from Thumping Tails. I know my cats are in good hands and being well taken care of.

I was so impressed with Thumping Tails. They were recommended by our vet and they lived up to their reputation! My husband and I loved the photos and notes from each of the visits. I think that’s so valuable - it gave us peace of mind. One of our two dogs was a rescue and is very nervous. They calmed her down and got her on a leash we were able to get her outside. We cannot say enough great things about Michael and his team at Thumping Tails! As a two working parent household it has been tough to find someone to help us occasional mid day week days with our sweet pup. With Thumping Tails, the pricing is competitive and there is always someone available for the dates and times requested, and they offer a wide range of services. Since our dog is leash reactive, we choose playtime in our yard and often have the same few dogwalkers come by to care for our girl. They note any health concerns, make sure she gets her exercise in, refill her water and of course make sure she goes potty. We could not be happier and neither could our dog - who actually smiles when they come by she is so excited!! I recommend Thumping Tails to anyone who needs a dogwalker. The pet boarding service was amazing. Dana was in constant communication with us, sent photos and made sure our dog was very comfortable. She picked him up and dropped off at our apartment which was very helpful due to our travel plans. I recommend this service!

Dana is amazing! My husband and I moved back to the city with our 1 year old puppy, Zelda, last summer. She was a nervous wreck and everything scared her. Having Dana walk our very big energetic puppy for a full hour at noontime has been a god send for us! Charlie loves to see Dana. He’s so excited to see her he practically jumps up into her arms (all 70 pounds of him) and when he comes home from his walk, he’s happily exhausted for the rest of the afternoon - so I can work! Dana’s reliable and personable, communicates really well and sends me photos of their adventures real time.

I’ve hired Noah’s Arc a number of times now, and everybody I’ve spoken to/worked with has been incredibly kind and professional. Latoya and Dana have always been responsive and flexible, even when I’ve called them last minute minute; and Francisco and Patricia have probably given more attention to my cat that I usually do. Their daly emails and pictures show a very happy kitten, indeed!

Dana & co have cared for my cats, Buford and now Luna, for well over ten years now and inasmuch as I always worry when I travel , I always know the “kids” will be in good and loving hands. (I sensed it the second Dana came to meet Buford and me, what seems like, at least, nine lives ago.). As any feline co-habitant will admit, you always worry about the feline threat of revenge for “abandonment” but I always return home to a calm, happy and loving cat.
