We had the pleasure of having Maggie (for the second time) to take care of our home and beloved dog Frida while we were away for 2 weeks. We couldn’t be happier! Neither could Frida! Our big dog is sometimes a bit stubborn and Maggie managed amazingly. We had daily photos and video, and Frida was clearly very happy, comfortable and very well looked after. Though we were out camping and without signal, having Julia with our cats brought us peace of mind. She made the effort to come to our apartment a day before the sit to check in and get an idea of how everything worked which we appreciated. She was also very friendly, quick to respond when we checked in, and our cats were super happy and relaxed when we got home. Though the apartment wasn’t as spotless as with some other sitters when we returned home, it was still in great condition. I would recommend her to anyone!

Charlie dog sat for us for a week and it was apparent from the start that Riv felt safe and comfortable with them. They were very easy to communicate with and left our place in good condition. I have no doubt that Riv had a great time during my vacation and would recommend Charlie to anyone who asks.

If we could give 6 stars we would! Richard was so friendly, caring, and clean his entire sit! When we got back, our place was noticeably cleaner than when we left it and our dog seemed almost disappointed that it was us coming through the door and not him. He also was so fun in the update messages and photos he would send us. Could not recommend more!

From the first phone call, to the sit itself, Will radiates a positivity and an enthusiasm for life that is infectious. He instantly made Archie feel comfortable and took good care of him while I was away. Caroline stayed with Bali over a long weekend and was very organized and flexible as I moved around my dates a bit. She arrived on time, was patient with Bali as he warmed up to a new person in the house, and sent me pictures daily. We had one small snafu: Bali got away from her while off-leash, but Caroline did everything right to let me know and get Bali back safely. I asked for more regular updates and to keep him on-leash after the incident, and she happily followed suit. She left the house super tidy and even left Bali and me a sweet note and some treats, which was very kind.

Felix has done three sits with me and he's always five stars! My cat is getting older, but he's very understanding about her geriatric oddities - thank you, Felix. We always return to a clean home, with some happy well-fed pets!

One of the many joys of belonging to this community is bumping into folk you probably would never meet but wished that you had. Annie and Martin were, from the off, a really easy couple to engage with, experienced travellers and travelling for the experience. Comfortable to be around, self-sufficient and calm, our dogs took them to them straight away and fell asleep. Great communication whilst we were away was very reassuring and on our return a spotless house, a well cared for garden and 2 super relaxed dogs. If that wasn't enough we shared a splendid lentil moussaka cooked up by Martin before seeing them off on their next adventure. They'll be back in March to house sit again, we look forward to seeing them. If you get the chance to get them as housesitters/pet sitters, don't pass it up.
