Dog Sitters in New Town

Jesica is an absolute delight. So friendly & the guys loved her straight away. She sent me photos everyday & updated me on how things were going. House left lovely & clean. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Jesica & would love to have her back!

Sophie & Mary did a wonderful job looking after my two french bulldogs Sadie & Pirate. They regularly kept me posted as to how they were going, sending pictures of the them looking relaxed and happy. They left the house clean, watered the plants and washed the linen they had used. I would recommend both Sophie & Mary as excellent house sitters.

Lorise and Richard are kind, organized, helpful, friendly, communicative, caring and adorable people. All of us - especially Tim, our son and our both cats - immediatly felt a very good connection with Lorise and Richard when we met one day before our leave to holidays. And everything was on its place, tidy and relaxed when we came back home. we are very gradful that we have chosen and met Lorise and Richard for our housesit. THANK YOU!

Louise & Alan were great sitters! They spent the evening with us the night before we left, so we got to know them a little and were able to leave feeling 100% confident our pets and house would be looked after. They kept us posted - but not inundated - with photos and updates. They let us know when the robo-lawnmower seemed to have gone on the blink so together, us from afar, we were able to rectify it. They waited in one morning to receive an important delivery for us. We came back to milk, eggs and butter in the fridge, a clean house and contented pets. So can't recommend them more! To our delight Clive & Cris were wonderful. They looked after our 2 boys extremely well. We came home to very happy fur babies. They followed all the instructions given before we left and gave regular updates on the boys. They looked after the house well and were extremely good to our old next door neighbour. We came home very late at night and there was a home cooked meal and slice waiting for us. We really appreciated as it had been a very long day. Our chickens were happy as they laying proficiently and the fish had had babies. All in all an excellent outcome. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Our dog loved Lynnellen from the moment she met her. Lynnellen was an amazing house sitter who went above and beyond to communicate with us and leave the house absolutely sparkling. We felt absolutely confident after our first meeting with her and we would have her back again in a heartbeat.

Sue, is brilliant, she looked after Molly, Izzy & Misty with great care. I felt totally at ease, while we were away. Sue messaged me to let me know how things were going. When we got back everything was as we left it. And most importantly we had 3 happy and content pets. Thank you Sue, you were wonderful

Eva was fantastic with our staffy while we went to Japan for 2 weeks. We came back to a clean home and a very happy dog. We would have Eva look after Rocky again anytime.

I struck gold with Stella – she was the most amazing sitter and truly went above and beyond. From the first time I contacted her, Stella was great with communication, I had a video call and immediately knew she could be relied upon and understood my concerns and requirements regarding my dog and cat. I liked the way she asked lots of questions & seemed genuinely interested in my animals. Stella arrived a few hours earlier so we could go on a dog walk together, where I could explain everything in more detail. I could see instantly how natural and relaxed she was with my dog - particularly as she is a young and energic lurcher! Whilst we were away Stella was excellent at communicating, we received regular updates and photos and videos of our pets, and it was obvious she bonded immediately with my dog. She was conscientious and quick to alert and follow up on any concerns, which I appreciated. I found her incredibly organised, intuitive and thoughtful – all the qualities you look for in a pet-sitter! She is clearly an animal lover - and has a particular affinity with dogs, demonstrated by the fact that she has a rescue dog at home. My cat enjoyed her company too (when he wasn’t sleeping all day :) It was such a relief and we were able to fully relax on holiday, knowing that both animals were being well taken care of. I really cannot fault her dedication. The handover was smooth and we came home to very happy animals! She made sure my dog had been on a long walk so she settled during the afternoon with treat puzzles to keep her busy. Our home was left clean and tidy – more so than when we left it! You wouldn't know anyone had been there. She’d stripped the bed and put the sheets in the washing machine and washed all the towels which was very helpful too, especially coming back after a long journey. Stella is a lovely, friendly person with a beautiful soul, and I felt completely relaxed leaving her to take care of everything. I highly recommend her and really hope she comes to sit for us again – my pets loved her. Thank you Stella!

Very grateful to Steve for looking after Ziggy for me after the planned sitter had to cancel one week before the sit. Communication prior to the sit was great, he arrived on time and we took Zig for a quick walk to the local park round the corner, so he could get his bearings and see Ziggy's favourite place for the morning run. Steve settled in quickly with a beer from the bar and then took Zig to the pub for some food. During the sit he always responded quickly to my messages asking how everything was going with Ziggy and also sent me a photo and a short video clip. I would've liked him to take Ziggy to the local park every morning, as i explained that's what he loves the most each day, as he meets up with his best mate since they were puppies, Griffin, and other dogs and walkers, but i think Steve preferred to do his own thing with him, which is fair enough and no harm done. Steve had just left when I got back and Ziggy was in good shape and the house clean and tidy, with bedding and towels washed and hung up to dry. I was concerned the next day to find 6 pouches of Ziggy's wet food still in the freezer and 2 more in the fridge, as it was only an 11 day sit and he almost always eats one pouch a day. Steve said that he had instead fed him a few packs of his alternative food as he didn't seem to want his usual food a few times. Although what was left of his alternative food didn't account for the discrepancy, Steve just said he wolfed down that food and he also gave him his cooked chicken as a treat and some salami. Thanks very much again Steve for all your efforts and especially for getting Ziggy more of his favourite chicken and best wishes.

We recently had the pleasure of having Marne and Barry house/pet sit for us. It was our first pet sit and I was a little apprehensive about leaving strangers in my house with my beloved 2 French Bulldogs. Once we confirmed them as sitters they regularly touched base until they arrived and we organize the day before we left for them to come over meet my 2 fur babies and show them around the house. We where immediately put at ease by their friendly, enthusiastic nature. While we were away we had regular photo and message updates which made mine and the kids day. On returning home after being away for 12 days the dogs where happy to see us but not as excited as I thought they would be which leaves me thinking that they where very well loved and cared for. Our house was immaculate (cleaner than when we left) and my newly planted garden and grass was looking amazing. A neighbor even commented on how good our house sitter was as they where always out in the garden. I have no hesitation in recommending Marne and Barry for future sits and if we happen to go away again I can only hope they are nearby and would like to come back. Excellent sitter and just really great person! Sabine was easy to communicate with and it was evident right away that she had a gentle and genuine approach to caring for our dogs. This really put us at ease during our travels knowing everything was well taken care of. Sabine went above and beyond with cleaning and tidying the home when she left. Highly recommend her services and would definitely use her again in the future. Super!
