To this list of attributes I would add flexible, capable, sensitive, extremely good with the dogs even if one of mine is sometimes a little ornery, and just a wonderful person all around. Because of constantly changing circumstances due to a move and coronavirus, my dogs ended up spending not two weeks but a whole month with John and they were so comfortable and happy. John helped them in so many ways and coordinated shipping them overseas, he went above and beyond the wildest stretches of what a house sitter entails and did it with a smile and a laugh and reassurances that all would be well. And indeed he was absolutely right - the dogs arrived so well cared for that all my fears of them being traumatized went out the window. John’s flexibility, and his kindness as well as his impeccable maintenance of my house in my absence all make me recommend him an absolute 10 out of 10. Thank you John for all your help this summer!! Jim and Daria were great! The puppies took to both of the from their first meeting so we felt reassured that all our babies would be in good hands. The house was clean and tidy when we got home, and we appreciated that they washed their sheets and towels. We would love to have them sit again and highly recommend Jim and Daria as your next Zeewoi.
Everything was fine. It would have been nice to have regular updates and photos but I didn't request it so I guess that is on me. She was overly concerned about "black mold" on the ac registers. It was not dangerous black mold, it is normal to have mold develop quickly on registers in South GA due to the humidity and because I leave the sunroom door open near the register for the dogs.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Asheville with sweet Winston! Prior to our stay, we met with Matty which was so nice-she went over everything and showed us around her lovely home. Handsome Winston is a very independent guy-not a lap cat, but still very playful, social and talkative. He also loves to be brushed! We quickly established a routine, had an easy time taking care of him and were definitely sad for our time to end. Matty's home is absolutely beautiful: fresh, bright, spotless, comfortable and inviting. We had everything we needed and truth be told, the atmosphere there is almost spa-like! One can chose to revel in the idyllic natural setting, sit on the front porch, screened-in back porch or by the gorgeous koi pond, which has its own stream and waterfall! The kitchen was very well-equipped and we didn't need a thing. The location is ideal because it's in east Asheville which also puts it very close to the charming town of Black Mountain. Getting into town is quick and easy and several nice grocery stores, including a Whole Foods are minutes away. We highly recommend this THS member. Thank you Matty for having us!
This sit was a great start in Australia. Mark is a very nice and easy going guy. Everything was clear.The cats are georgeous and wellbehaved. They love to play and often comes for cuddles. It was low maintenance.The location is quiet far from Adelaide cbd, but has lots of perfect beaches and surroundings with vineries and beautiful villages. Thank you very much Mark, it was also nice to meet your mother. If there would be an oppurtunity, we would sit again.
