Dog Sitters in New York City, NY

Gabriella (and Adam) truly are great house/pet sitters. We knew after we met them prior to the sit that the dogs (and the house) will be well-attended and cared for. Skye and Axle enjoyed their time with Gabi and Adam. We also got to know them well; and we definitely would love to have them sit for us soon.

Jane saved the day when I had to leave in the middle of the night, and she was super flexible with handing over the keys and getting Lucy/the apartment ready for the next dog sitter to take over. She made me feel so much less stressed with having to leave last minute, and it seems like Lucy warmed up to her right away, so you can tell she’s a dog person! I will definitely be using Jane again in the future :)

Alex was a great cat sitter to our little babies! He sent us video updates regularly and kept us informed on the overall sitting experience. Alex was very reliable and trustworthy and also patient with our cats. It was very nice of his to put clean bedsheets and towels before leaving - we appreciate you and we will certainly love to have him back soon.

Nora was everything you could have asked for in a house sitter. She asked really thoughtful questions that made us feel like she cared. She read and re-read our house guide and made sure she fully understood her duties before we left. She even came by a day early to meet the cats and have lunch with us so we would feel comfortable with each other, which we appreciated. While we were gone, Nora sent us daily updates about the cats and our plants. She even would ask for advice on some of my plants to save them from dying in the summer heat. We also let her use my car which we felt comfortable leaving with her because we saw how careful she drove another house sitters car when she came the day before. She was willing to sign an agreement with us before hand, we had her covered on our insurance and she assured us she would only use it for the grocery store and places that were too far away. You could tell she took good care of the car and I think she even cleaned it! When we came home the house was so clean and well maintained. My plants were thriving and so were the cats! They were quiet and purring when we came home which was a sign that they were very happy. Nora is just a really good person to have in your home. You can tel she really loves animals and cares about your home and your animals well being. She even reconnected a dog she saw roaming around with their rightful owner. That is very telling of her personality. We highly recommend Nora and hope one day we can have her visit again!

Thank you for taking such good care of our dogs, Andre and Margaret. They were conscientious, respectful, and really cared for our pups. We would welcome them to stay and sit for us anytime. Thanks again!

Emily was practically perfect in every way! She sent daily updates with photos and videos of my kitty (per my request), left the house tidy and the cat content, and even did me the kind favor of washing my sheets and remaking the bed! I'd recommend her to anyone.

Hannah sat for my dog, Lily, for 5 weeks. We had good communication and expectation setting prior to the sit. She arrived a day prior to my departure so we had time to get acquainted and Lily had time to get to know her a bit. We had time to go over some of the workings of the house and some of the particulars of Lily. Hannah communicated as arranged during the sit. She texted a couple of times with a question about something. All totally appropriate and understandable and appreciated. Lily was very well cared for, the house was clean and in order when I got home and so was Lily. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hannah and to have her sit again.

This is the second time Lily has sat for me and she did a great job again! As always, she was easy to coordinate with and she is super fast to respond. She also helped out with getting my friend a pair of spare keys! Would definitely have her sit for me again.

We would leave Vanessa 6 stars if we could! We have thousands of photos of PJ ourselves, but she took the best photos of him that we have ever seen! She was extremely communicative and sent daily updates and the most adorable videos and photos of the pets! PJ clearly loved her very much! The apartment was left in perfect condition, and we felt completely assured throughout the entire trip that everyone was in excellent hands. It’s been phenomenal having Vanessa, and we would love to have her back again!

Dominick is very conscientious, communicative and particularly caring towards our dog. Since this was the second time that he house/pet sat for us, our instructions only needed some fine tuning. Dominick took excellent care of our elderly dog, and he was very sensitive about when and how much to walk him since our dog is very affected by the weather and high humidity. Also, he put extra care into some dietary changes for our dog. Dominick communicated with us by sending some photos and videos of the dog, and updating us with any relevant reports. We highly recommend Dominick for any pet sitting opportunities, and will definitely ask him back when he is available to sit for us!

This is the second time Julia and Jon have cat sit for me. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Tesla was one of the best sitters I’ve had for my 11yo French Bulldog, Chester. She stayed at my place for 4 weeks and accommodated by request to arrive and stay a day earlier/later in town because I was traveling far to Thailand and concerned about any flight issues. Tesla was super careful to follow all my meticulous dog care notes, important because my dog is very allergic. She gave Chester lots of attention and snuggles, which was obvious when I returned because he was calm. As far as the apartment, it was left the cleanest it has ever been left by a sitter, and she didn’t break any dishes or stain my towels, etc, at all. There was very little work I needed to do when I arrived home exhausted at midnight, which was nice. Hope you will be available to sit again in the future, Tesla! Thank you!!!
